“GREAT food and lot's of it! For breakfast try the chicken fried steak, biscuits & gravy, or breakfast burrito (my wife loves the pancakes and eggs benedict). They have a large selection of omlettes, too. They even have mimosas! For lunch - best Pastrami this side of New York! They also make great burgers. I really like their chicken sandwich. The service is always great. They keep the coffee cups full and they must treat their employees well as many have been around for many years and smile as they work. The only downside is there is often a wait because, well... because so many people love the place. It's worth waiting for! This really is my favorite restaurant. I just wish they were open for dinner, too!Wheelchair accessibility: That have a ramp and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.“
“Stumbled upon this gem while in town for the weekend. It’s a wonderful old school diner with amazing service and good food as evidenced by the consistent rotation of guests coming in and out. The pancakes, French toast, eggs and sausages were delicious and made exactly in the old school no nonsense way I’m looking for in a diner. After mentioning to the waitress that I overheard her mention chilaquiles to the table behind us and that I was bummed I hadn’t noticed them on the menu before ordering, she brought me a small plate so that I could try them. You only get this kind of genuine service at mom & pop places like this. Besides the service, the eggs were perfectly scrambled, the pancakes were fluffy, everything was fresh. Will 100% be back here next time I’m in town.“
“We DoorDash this and it was delicious and traveled well. We got the chocolate covered strawberries, which were fantastic and the cream puffs. I tried the cookie butter and Nutella topping for the cream, puff half-and-half. Both were delightful. The order came quickly and the packaging was very nice.“
“We decided to have breakfast here after reading the reviews and let me tell you they did not disappoint! Everyone was super friendly. We didn’t even get through the door before we received a cheerful welcoming. You don’t get service like that often anymore. The food was amazing! I left so full I just couldn’t stop eating. Literally everything about our time here was beyond compare.“
“The Country Fried Steak (one of my dinner go-to's) was not that great. The cut of the meat throw off the whole plate. Biscuits had great texture. My dad ordered the Spencer Hobo Omelet, pretty good. It was busy throughout our meal. Besides that one issue with the texture of the meat, no other complaints. I'd come back, just not for the CFS.“
“I recommend it to you ? wow, it's very tasty ? I can't drink much caffeine and it made me a very smooth and coconut flavor I was delighted with what the cold coffee made me and the breakfast was also very delicious ? you won't regret it you'll like.“
“I love this place , I've always had a pleasant experience here all the time until today . There was a younger girl working today and she was totally rude . I love this place but that was such a bad experience I had my family with me and we are surprised by this .“
“A nice healthy breakfast was what we wanted, and we found it at Cafe Smitten. What we loved: the tomato bisque and the quinoa salad were lovely, and the earl gray cream pie -- while not healthy, was absolutely delicious. What could have been better: I need to stop ordering avocado toast in restaurants. While it was well executed--the toast and the egg were cooked perfectly--I want a bit more avocado, especially for the price point.“
“I love the service here, staff were very nice but the outside was awkward and loud by the cleaning of the vacuum? Chocolate muffin was delicious but the drinks tasted funky, I didn't mind. Great place for studying! Plus, the weather was amazing.“
“SUPER RECOMMENDED!A nice space, small but very comfortable. This makes the staff more attentive to your needs. They welcome you with “little animal” cookies and a delicious pot coffee. They have “MIMOSAS” service for lovers of this popular drink. The service is fast, the food is well seasoned, affordable prices and the waitresses make sure you don't miss anything.“
“Best, little diner in town!Dad cooks well, and the daughter serve with happy attitudes and precision.Parking: Plenty of parking on the street, alongside the building itself, and behind the building.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly... My young son loves it.“
“This place needs so much more recognition. Walking in, the vibes were amazing and welcoming to all. I ordered a banana caramel iced latte and a jalapeño croissant. Needless to say they were amazing. As cheesy as this sounds, the coffee left me with a smile on my face. Adding to this, the hospitality from the worker was so warm and kind. She is the type of person you'd want to find in everyone; a loving and understanding person.“
“The best place in town for country food aka home-cooked style. Portions are great. The French toast is special and very delicious, just ask them. ? my favorite place to get home made biscuit and delicious gravy. Hits the spot every time!! ?Vegetarian options: I love the house country potatoes here.. I know it sounds strange yet simple. They use some bell peppers and onion in there, just like home. Freedom toast is one of a kind!“
“I ordered the Dr Laura, it was delicious. The only reason it's not a 5 star is the meat portion is a lil weak, I had a couple bites without pastrami. Price point is a tad steep for the lack of meat. Bonnie pls put more meat in the Dr Laura's and you'll have a regular customer!“
“Love this place! My husband and I love to get the chicken pesto crepe, and their strawberry salad to split. Then we get the lemon crepe to split for dessert. The portions are so generous and the crepes are absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a cute little Paris feel to it with cute outdoor seating. They're coffee is so good too!! The service is great. We get our food quickly and it's so tasty every time.“
“Such a great place to eat. I had my usual biscuit breakfast plate, and as usual couldn't finish it, the portions are so big. I give Spencer's a huge thumbs up, don't miss out.Wheelchair accessibility: I use a walker and there are no obstacles to worry about.“
“So many delicious options to choose from. This is my go to when I want to go breakfast with someone. I have never got a bad meal here. It's been delicious every time. Their pancakes bomb, sea food omelette bomb, biscuits and gravy bomb! I love that they have healthy options too. They have an option to get Ezekiel bread for your toast, they have sugar free syrup, and Himalayan pinks salt for those that care about that like me. My favorite there are the omelettes and their potato's are delicious! There's so much to to choose from. You'll walk away satisfied for sure, and the waitresses and waiters are always so kind and so such a wonderful job. It has a local restaurant diner feel but with high quality food and ingredients. 5 stars!“
