“Tried the jefe torta, lemonade with dragon and their strawberry and mango smoothie today with my mom and everything was so delicious! I live in east county, lakeside and have been to Chula Vista and el Cajon to try tortas but this place by far has been my favorite, ever! They are so friendly and have the best customer service! Have never had someone welcome me with a smile the entire time like them. It is a drive for me but I will definitely be back! To top it off, they have amazing prices! Will recommend to my family and friends :)“

“Vista location. If you have a lot of time, enjoy a old country atmosphere and tasty simple food, then you'll like this place. They serve the best pastrami sandwiches all warm & juicy. The yogurt parfaits are sublime. The decor is macrame & hand carved rustic furniture & a spiral staircase. Its open 24hrs a day....but closes Friday afternoon till sunday morning. Prices for sandwiches run $9 to $12. (I highly recommend) healthy sprouted & vegan options too. Patio seating with fire places in the evening. Staff is friendly. Parking is a challenge, but worth it.“

“I've been here a few times now and every time, I swear, it blows away my expectations ❗The plates are clean and the flavors substantial. The last time I ate there I had the chicken kebab....damn that was a great plate! I've also had the lamb plate and again the food was superb. I highly recommend Taverna Mediterranean.“
“Bought a voucher on Local Flavor from this establishment and took a friend there for dinner last night prior to seeing the Wonka movie. The service was wonderful, this was our first time, and a male employee kindly kept checking that we had what we needed. Ordered the small veggie pizza, thin crust, and friend ordered a small bruschetta pizza, also thin crust. Both pizzas had ample ingredients and were nongreasy. This place totally hit it out of the park.“

“This is a small vegan cafe, me and my dad go too frequently. The options on their menu are very filling and everything is delicious.There's not much service as you just order then get seated, and the cafe is very small so minimal atmosphere. Overall a great place that we will continue to frequent - I suggest the burritos, avocado toast, or smoothies!“
