“The food here is what I love the most beside the atmosphere of the restaurant. I've been trying different dish of pasta, all tasted great and fresh especially pasta, the way it's cooked just like you would have in Italy. The restaurant itself is very cozy and welcoming. The service was great, food come out fast enough, staffs were very attentive and friendly.”

“We had a delicious lunch at the Good Belly Deli. The owner served us and recommended the two of us share a 6" sub. It was loaded with Turkey and vegetables of our choice. The perfect size and we were very satisfied. The deli is very clean, great and friendly service, easy access from the 78 with plenty of parking. Great place for lunch. We loved this small business.”
“Undisputable best place for Vietnamese food in North County. Something to be said about the authenticity of a restaurant where all the employees are of that nationality. Mostly Vietnamese, except a handful of servers. All the aunties are amazing! They literally treat you like family. Food is amazing, but the service is phenomenal! This is a place where you and your stomach leave smiling. Been here 4 times and each time has you wanting to come back.We always order the cha gio egg rolls, charbroiled pork spring rolls, beef spring rolls, P-1 pho with a full beef rib, and honey chicken with jasmine rice. Their fried items have the perfect level of crisp, ASMR-worthy crunch.It isn't cheap, but it's absolutely worth it!One of my top 5 favorite spots to eat in North County!”

“I had this today and I must say it was pretty good. They cooked the taco shells well, so I didn't have to worry about the tortillas being soggy. I enjoyed all of the hot sauce, the white one was very hot for everyone who likes spice, so beware! Overall, I think it was really good. I wish they would've added more limes. It wasn't enough for the amount of tacos that I had. I also got a Horchata which I would not recommend. It had a very weird taste to it and I'm not sure if it was just a one time thing, but it was kind of tangy and tart so I wasn't a fan.”

“We choose Best Pizza and Brew in Vista to celebrate a family members birthday. We had ages from 7 to 66, and everyone was happy with the food selection and quality.We choose pizzas, chicken wings, bread knots, and salad. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and made fresh.”
“A place that primarily makes churros? Yes, please! Of course I had to go. The first time I went they had an issue with the machine so it took a bit longer than expected. They were very kind and apologetic. Things happen and I understood. They fixed the issue as soon as possible and I got my churros. I have been back a few times and every time they have been crispy, hot and tasty. They give you a generous portion in the churro bites (my favorite). The sweet cream cheese dipping sauce is my favorite. The churros are great every single time. The only bad thing I can say about this place is that they now deliver. I don't have to leave my house to get some hot, crispy, delicious churros. As a matter of fact, I'm enjoying some as I write this.”

“The food here is so fresh. I got the 3 tacos for $10 and every bite was crunchy and warm. The agua fresca's are the best part, every sip is refreshing. If you're a returning costumer and want to try something new I recommend the surf and turf fries they're so crispy and the best I've tried. There's plenty of protein in every serving. It definitely feels like I'm having a home cooked meal every time I eat here. The customer service is great, I'm always greeted with a smile and welcoming employees. It's very family friendly and there's an option for everyone even the littles. Definitely recommend Meche's fish tacos.”

“I was hesitant the first time I tried Alohana. I was a die hard Everbowl customer for years. However, with Everbowl's rising prices and smaller portions it was time to find another spot. I like the Uppers bowl with no Nutella sub extra peanut butter. The staff is great and I've both ordered online to pick up as well as walked in. Easy both ways. The value of bowl you get for the price blows Everbowl out of the water. I recommend this store, you won't be disappointed.”

Sky sushi is a brilliant name for a restaurant because most everyone loves looking up at the sky and being grateful for the beautiful tapestry God makes for us every day! But, we also had to have the stuffed french toast. It was wonderful. Couldn't stop raving about it to everyone. The service was very good. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful. We asked for minor alterations such as no powdered sugar and cheese on the side. That is exactly how we got our dishes. Kudos to the chef. We've requested the same at other restaurants only to have our requests ignored. This is definitely a new go-to place for us!”

“My family and I were nearby hoping to get ice cream from our favorite shop while we were in town but found they were closed on the day we stopped by. I checked Yelp for ice cream nearby and came across Handel's. When we arrived, there was no line and we quickly decided what each of us wanted and ordered at the outdoor window. The ice cream was served immediately. I had the mud pie (which was so delicious), my husband had the orange cream, and our kids had chocolate and lime sherbet. Everyone really enjoyed their ice cream and the prices were reasonable.”

“Update: 11/11/2023 the 5 roles tacos order was less than stellar the tortilla tasted like the taco was made from old stale tortillas and the filling wasn't all that great either. Too bad their is nothing fine about this place.The environment is too loud to even talk amongst your party and their is a bunch of drunk people everywhere even drunk people pissing outaide in the vegetation on the parking lot where there is women and children walking by.Truly a terrible place to bring a family too.By the way did I mention their salsas are terrible? Well yeah they are absolute garbage material.I enjoyed eating at this grub spot with my family. Everything was tasting delicious! They sell beer there too. You can watch the partidos here any major sporting event is happening here. They also have love bands that play on Fridays. You can hang out with friends and just drink $1 Coronitas. They even have beer specials here. Back to the food my fajitas were great, the mojarra frita Tilapia was great. So was the bean and cheese burrito. The drinks were good the salsa bar had a great variety of good tasting salsas.”

“I have been living in San Marcos for over 30 years and have been to EVERY CarlsJr in North county. hey all have messed up once in awhile but have ALWAYS tried to make it right.!!! The MANAGER of the Vista CJs impresses me more than ANY other manager in every one of this chain of restaurants. I say this because it is why I will come to this restaurant even though it is is farther from my home. it is always Clean . tables wiped off faster even when busy than ANY of all of them. the restrooms are clean and well stocked and if not some immediately sees that they are taken care of (restocking needed supplies). Pleasant music adds to the calming feeling I have when I get the chance to eat in. Some stores make it impossible to enjoy dining in because old ice making equipment makes EXTREMELY loud banging noise almost constantly. THIS place NEVER does THAT!!!I know how well I am treated but notice how well they treat EVERYONE..even the troubled souls who have struggles getting by everyday. I say this especially because not all of them do!!!I am an elderly person who often finds it very hard to understand what is being said because of the quick way employees who speak English as a second language speak BUT never have that problem !!!!I credit ALL of this positive feedback to the person responsible BRISEYDA.!SHE IS THE REAL DEAL. Tasted delicious as well. It comes with cheese, lettuce, red onion, pickles and avocado.Vegetarian options: I'm not sure if there are items specificied as vegetarian, but there are many options like their coffees, juices, most of the donuts, and the veggie sandwich.Parking: Gigantic parking lot. “After a successful run of 15 years, we are sad to report that Nikos is closing its doors promptly at 3:00 p.m. on February 28th, 2023, because the owner is retiring. Offering a bit of a spectrum of food choices, we’d recommend that you sample their traditional Greek fare including souvlaki and gyro. Whatever your menu selection, make sure to pour a large helping of tzatziki sauce all over it. Seriously, poured on Greek food (or really ANY food), that stuff is amazing! Just some fair warning, we believe that it might contain enough garlic to repel mosquitoes (and for sure your date). ? The only thing we found better than that tzatziki sauce was the baklava and our Review Team had exactly zero trouble believing that it was homemade. Where we did differ was how to attempt to describe it. While I preferred the term “juicy” when describing it, I was assured by the other team members that a better descriptor was “syrupy.” There was no denying that it provided flakey bites of goodness. We found the service to be friendly and welcoming (as always) and the authentic Greek music playing in the background to be an additive to the environment.
