We were in Walnut Creek looking for a quick but good bite, and we found they Bounty Hunter. Ok, so it wasn't so quick, but it was worth the time we spent here. The food was very tasty, and the drinks were too.
First visit, weeknight, not crowded. Food very good to excellent. Beet trio appetizer superb. Not clear if the 3 dipping sauces were for beets or brisket but good either way. Fiancee had wagyu burger, excellent. I had the combo plate…brisket a tad dry, fried chicken very good, corn bread muffin & cole slaw great. Extensive wine list, top labels. Garys BBQ is a great neighborhood hangout. The management is always very friendly and the patio seating is amazing. Basketball and golf for the kids outside and always a good wine selection. One thing’s for sure: Gary knows his meat.
