“When you walk into a chain like Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, you expect a certain level of consistency in your cup—a good cup of coffee is a given. But what really sets this particular location apart isn't just what's in the cup; it's the warmth and welcoming vibe that greets you as you step through the door. The store itself is a breath of fresh air, spotlessly clean and set to just the right temperature. It's a small thing, but it makes all the difference, creating a comfortable space where you can relax or get some work done without shivering or sweating over your latte. However, the true highlight of this Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is its stellar staff. The team here is friendly, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to make sure your visit is more than just satisfactory—they make it memorable. On my recent visit, Diana was the one who made my day. Her assistance was top-notch, her coffee knowledge impressive, and her customer service skills were second to none. She's not just doing her job; she's elevating the whole experience with her passion and dedication. It's employees like Diana who transform a routine coffee run into a highlight of your day. She's an asset not only to this location but to the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf brand as a whole. If you're in the area and in need of a caffeine fix or a cozy spot to unwind, swing by this location. Come for the coffee, stay for the exceptional service, and leave with a smileWheelchair accessibility: Handicap spot right in front of the store front. Aisles wide enough for any individuals needing extra space due to wheelchair or other accommodations.“
“This is a nice Starbucks with friendly employees. The only issue I have & notice every time I visit this specific Starbucks location is the overwhelming feeling of borderline claustrophobia & playing dodge ball.During the timeframe of approx 8:00am–1:00pm both the outside patio area & dining inside is an absolute madhouse! That's not really an issue moreso a personal observation.“
“The food was good, but a little pricey for breakfast. The service was pretty good until the waitress went on break and didn't tell us. There was no backup coverage. I would have preferred to sit inside because it was cold that day, but we would have waited longer since it was busy when we arrived. This was my first time dining at Sunrose.“
“Porto’s cortadito coffee is one of my favorites!!! Their mocha is so yummy too. Huge fan of their pastries especially the croissants, cheese roll and guava strudel with cheese! The chicken croquette and spinach feta empanada are also incredible! Go here on a weekday to avoid extremely long lines.“
“I recently visited Tang and Java and was blown away by the exceptional experience they offer. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff, and it was evident that this is a place that values customer satisfaction above all else. Not only do they offer high-quality items, but their commitment to using locally sourced ingredients adds a level of freshness and authenticity to their menu that is truly commendable. What's even more impressive is that Tang and Java is a women-owned business, which makes supporting them even more meaningful. It's inspiring to see such dedication and passion reflected in every aspect of their operation.Whether you're looking for a delicious cup of coffee, a tasty pastry, or a satisfying meal, Tang and Java has something for everyone. I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing their fantastic offerings for yourself. You won't be disappointed!“
“Food is absolutely delicious, as others have said, it's so "real" looking and tasting you have to re-read the "100% Vegan" on the menu to convince yourself. All 6 staff members we encountered were incredibly friendly and seemed to genuinely like being there. Nice, quiet atmosphere allowed for conversation. Overall exemplary experience and I can't wait to go back!“
“I wanted to try a new coffee shop and came upon Jesse's Grind Coffee Bar and the reviews were so positive I decided to give it a try. I ordered the dirty horchata latte with whole milk and it was really good! The staff were really friendly as well and were so fast at making drinks as it was pretty busy. I definitely want to come back and try a coffee flight as I think that's such a cool idea and I love coffee. The shop is small but has a cute sitting area which I will definitely enjoy when I revisit to try more flavors.“
“My wife and I had a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner at Munay. Their special was an amazing four course dinner with some of the best Bruchetta we've ever had, veggie bisque, we split an outstanding Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes to die for and some of their pesto pasta, and finally had a fun chocolate mousse/white chocolate shell dessert that with what seemed to be spun sugar that they lit on fire. The staff were fantastic, welcoming, and quick. The ambiance was fun Valentine's Day hearts and pseudo candles in a warm environment.Overall, it was an outstanding experience and we can't wait to return soon.“
“Cool atmosphere, the coffee was strong lol. I got the butter beer latte half sweet with almond milk and it was not too bad. I’ll probably try something else next time though. For food I got a banana loaf but was hoping they had breakfast sandwiches Overall I think I would go back if I’m on that side of the valley!“
“Love love love Ferretiz Grill! They have the best California Benedict! The staff are really personable, and they tend to recognize you only after a few times of going. I've noticed they remember most of their costumers, which I find really sweet. The waiters are also so kind, great service. Really homey feeling place, and the prices are good for what you get! Feels like a hidden Simi gem.“
“This was my first time visiting MTWs, it was recommended by a colleague. Our server was knowledgeable and very friendly. The food delicious! Eggs s cooked to perfection, waffles light & tasty. I had the peanut butter chocolate waffle (1/2) with eggs, breakfast potatoes and ham. I can't wait to introduce MTWs to my friends.“
“The absolute best coffee and doughnuts in the valley! The doughnuts are gluten free and more cakey than the classic fried doughnut- but amaaazing! Their ube and soy sauce are the best flavors in my opinion. Their sea salt cream iced coffee is delicious- strong, perfectly sweet, and creamy! The owners are also the sweetest people and put so much love and care into their products! This place is 11/10“
“Been there multiple times - our favorites have been the rolls and the lobster tacos. Also needs to be paired with the fries and tater tots half and half mix. It’s the perfect meal. Parking is the only downside. The lot for that building is super expensive so we usually spend a couple extra minutes finding street parking. But it’s worth it for really well-priced, fresh, well-seasoned lobster and crab meat- and really friendly service!“
“I have been coming here for years before the new owners took over. Under new ownership, the place is even better. Service is always friendly, and food is served up fast!I always get a solid breakfast here, and finally, someone who knows how to cook crisp hash browns! Just be sure to bring cash as they don't take cards, but they do have an ATM on-site in case you forget.“
“Great drinks! A little loud inside but they have a great outside patio where you can play some games and chat. Inside they got gaming consoles and games to play at the booths! Great activities to do while you wait, and the staff are very attentive! Loved the calm fun “
“Amazing gluten free bagels! Their products are by far the best GF in the area. As a parent of a child with Celiac’s Disease it is sigh of relief to not only find a 100% gluten free establishment, but a bakery where EVERY single item is delicious!Dietary restrictions: Great for people with Celiac Disease.“
“Gourmet food court with a relevant bar. How can it go wrong? It doesn't. Everything I've tried so far is top notch, inventive, and delicious. Incredible pizza from D Town, and great sushi from Temaki. And I'm a sushi snob. Downside is that it's all kind of pricey, but it's worth it.“
“Tel Aviv Fish Grill is such a great spot located in Tarzana. They specialize in serving fresh and flavorful Mediterranean-style seafood and breakfast dishes. My favorites are their shakshuka and the fried fish. The atmosphere at Tel Aviv Fish Grill is casual and inviting. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you have a great dining experience. They also have outdoor seating available. If you're a fan of Mediterranean cuisine and seafood, I highly recommend checking out Tel Aviv Fish Grill.“
“My wife and I had a wonderful time dining here for brunch. Make sure to make reservation because they do get busy especially if you want a good view. The place has valet parking or you can park on the street which does fill up quick. We got seated at a nice corner table with a nice view of the mountain. I got the Burger on 27 with fries and my wife got their Clam Chowder. I asked for a coke for my drink which came out to be the bottle coke and my wife got their Chai Latte. I thought the burger was alright and my wife said the chowder was good. She really loved the Chai Latte though so I asked for one to go for her. The service here was good and you basically pay for the view here. We will try to come back next time when the opportunity present itself.Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options hereParking: You can pay for the valet or do the street parking on Topanga Canyon.Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible.“
“In my opinion this is the best location! Spacious! Not like a few others I had to wait an hour to get a table because the venue only had a few tables. This place is also a wait on weekends so can be very crowded.Waffles are so tasty. I can only eat one to two squares depending on if I am eating anything else. I had the corned beef breakfast with a half waffle (she heard me wrong). I got to keep my toast and hash browns but I still got my waffle. I also ordered fruit with all berries. Which, btw, is worth the extra $1 they charge (server told me ahead of time).Everything came out hot and pleasing to the eye. Of course, I enjoyed every bite and still had some leftover for the next day.I will be back again. I wish I could come back with a bigger stomach because I want to try it all sometimes.Parking: Big venue but not enough parking. Lot parking is free with no valet. Best to look on street if you see one take it!“
“The Napoleon cake is unbelievably good. A dozen or so thin layers of flaky "cake" sandwiching sweet but not over powering butter cream filling. About 5$ for a small looking piece but it's so satisfying. You could share, but I don't think you should.“

You must come here one time.Cafe's atmosphere is comfortable and it made me calm down.It is a good place to read books or do something with your laptop.I strongly recommend you to visit here.I found a good place to enjoy as like I had enjoyed in South Korea.Enjoy other food, especially Bing-su (snowlike ice powder with any toppings)I should try it next time.“

“I only went to this place because it was near where I live and it seemed really empty, but they had a large selection of drink options with milk tea flavors that i had never seen in other boba places like chocolate, hazelnut, or blueberry (i had forgot to take a picture before i drank it but the blueberry milk tea is the picture ?). The interior was nice, it was filled with anime and comic book Funko pops/ figurines, Sanrio plushies, and many brand name T shirts all for purchase. There was also a FREE functioning pac-man machine! Overall a pretty nice and underrated place that i could see being really popular“
“Amazing service! I wish all restaurants were this outgoing at their registers. It made me feel like nothing would go wrong! This place is one of those order at the counter, then sit till they call you to pick it up. Most tables were taken, but we were still able to find a seat. The seating area was cozy, but they also had an outdoor seating area, but it was windy and chilly, so we stayed inside. I ordered the Chorizo with beans, and my Aunt ordered the Chile relleno. You could tell it was made with love. The guys that work there are really pleasant and run a fantastic ship. If I visit Auntie again in her neck of the woods, I would definitely come back.“
“Old Place was such a cool experience! The food was delicious. The portions were huge. The service was impeccable! Highly recommend getting the thick cut bacon for your appetizer! We split the ribeye! Cooked to perfection! We felt like we stepped back into time and can't wait to dine here again!“
“This place is the Mecca of pizza! A great place to bring your family to split a pie, a Caesar salad, chicken wings, and a calzone... They make the crust to such a perfection that you would think there are scientist working in the back. The best part, their beers are always serve cold in a chilled cup on draft. The pricing is designed not to break the bank. Overall, I've had a great experience at this establishment with kind and patient staff, delicious food, and an awesome clean ambience.“
“After stumbling upon Uncle AF’s International Sandwich Shop on Yelp’s recommendation list and noting its proximity to my home, my son and I decided to indulge in a lunchtime adventure here.Service was swift, friendly, and personalized, with the owner’s son manning the counter and extending a warm welcome to us. The seating area is cozy, with a mix of tables, bar seats along the window and wall, and a communal table for larger groups. A few tables outside offer a sidewalk dining experience, albeit in the midst of a bustling strip mall environment. The menu boasts a selection of 10 tantalizing sandwiches and Paninis, accompanied by French fries, prepackaged chips, snacks, bottled sodas, and iced teas. While the sandwiches lean towards the pricier side, ranging between $15 and $20 each, their size and quality justify the cost, although location might play a role in the pricing. The sandwiches exceeded my expectations in size and flavor, generously filled with meats and toppings, and served alongside a sizable portion of fries. It’s worth noting that when ordering with multiple people, all items are served together on one tray, which might not suit everyone’s preference. The ambiance is straightforward yet inviting, with a cheerful yellow, black, and white color scheme adorning the walls adorned with travel quotes, adding a touch of wanderlust to the dining experience. However, I did encounter a minor inconvenience with an unstable table, and a closer attention to cleanliness around the register area would enhance the overall dining experience.Despite these minor hiccups, Uncle AF’s International Sandwich Shop offers a flavorful journey through its diverse menu and welcoming atmosphere, making it a worthwhile stop for a satisfying meal.“
“Incredible cuisine! A hidden treasure indeed! While primarily offering Chinese dishes, there’s a delightful fusion twist. Tried their signature braised beef noodle dish and was blown away. The noodles had the perfect chewiness, the beef was incredibly tender, and the soup base , thicker than anticipated, added an interesting depth of flavour. My husband opted for the ‘send noodle’ dish and was equally impressed. It’s lighter flavour profile still packed a punch“
“I hadn't visited Yonder in a minute but saw them promoting their new cereal latte on Instagram and knew I had to try it! This drink is made with Chobani cereal oat milk and topped with crushed cinnamon toast crunch which makes the perfect pairing. I've already come back two more times to order it again! I'm hoping Chobani doesn't discontinue the cereal oat milk that way this drink can become a permanent menu item. Fingers crossed! Besides their great seasonal drinks, Yonder is a beloved Northridge cafe for their abundance of seating, outlets, free wifi and attentive staff. For anyone who hasn't visited before, you'll be delighted by their private outdoor patio, which is both dog and student friendly. I myself have sat in on a few of my Zoom classes from Yonder's patio because their oasis is that relaxing and their wifi is that reliable. Although I'm not on a first name basis with any of the baristas, it's still always nice to see a familiar face when I walk in, and it's clear that Yonder has created their own community in the area by their abundance of after-hours events-- they're known for hosting a night market or two! The only thing to note about Yonder is that, while they do have a bathroom, you have to walk outside along the back end of the other businesses to reach it. It's a bit of a trek (and maybe confusing if you've never been there before), but everything else that Yonder offers makes it worth it.“
“Greystoke Grill is an excellent local restaurant. The food has a fresh homemade quality and a menu with lots of variety. The atmosphere is friendly and my husband and I go there frequently. I recommend their BLT as the best ever...add the avocado! Try it, you'll like it.“
“How I've never managed to come across this place till today is beyond me. The pork belly is really wonderfully good. Paul is really warm and friendly behind the counter. The pork belly is rich, crunchy in the right places, seasoned to perfection. See pictures, go here, eat up, you'll love it.“
“Love love love! I'm so happy I found this local coffee shop. It is in between a corner shopping center and a neighborhood. I went ahead and called prior and the employees on the phone are always so friendly. My favorite are the Chilaquiles and the bouquet burrito. Parking is OK. Luckily, you can park around the neighborhood and it's just a short walk unless you get lucky by pulling up in front of the business. There's nice outside patio seating and comfy space inside as well. This is my new favorite spot at least once a week!“
“The ambiance of this establishment exudes an enchanting charm, evidently crafted with immense care and a keen eye for detail, transporting one into a realm akin to a mystical garden. The culinary offerings were exceptional, both in flavor and presentation, contributing to the overall delightful atmosphere. Our server, Ashley, epitomized professionalism and warmth, attending to our every need with attentive and gracious service. Her engaging demeanor and meticulous attention greatly enhanced our dining experience. Individuals like Ashley are truly a rarity and add immeasurable value to the hospitality they provide.Thank you,Rozi“
“Some restaurant menus make me feel good, prompted by good ingredients, spotless floors and a staff that understand that it’s as hard to keep a customer as to create a new one.Other places, and you probably know of a few, offer a lot of pastas and entrees, or maybe a few signature dishes that make a place unique, but disappoint when overpaying for a lower experience. I wish them well. But some restaurants surpriseme. I just had lunch at Basta, in Agora’s Whizzin Market and gotta say I’m surprised, and a little miffed.Sure the staff are great with each one genuinely happy I came in. They even smiled. The atmosphere is open, inviting, warm and has a great combination of Mexican blues, warm tones, and wrought iron.I’ve never been here before as Whizzin Market is a little out of the way for me.But in spite of all the reasons it should have all been in the feel good category, my lunch went another direction.I had originally thought to order one of the bowls which cater to veggie, meat, or fish prefs. The Jidori Chicken Bowl seemed my speed which I asked about. My server, Cruz asked if I wanted the roast chicken or the bowl?Roast Chicken is my comfort food and I lost my mind for a beat. Then committed a classic amateur restaurant goer move:The panic order.“Roasted, please,” I heard myself say. Cruz refilled my coffee and disappeared. The dice now rolled, I waited. The chicken was good. No, not just good, but magnificent. So good I felt a mix of relief, surprise and annoyance. None of this was directed at the staff, Basta’s management, or the even the poor chicken.First, being from a small town in Indiana originally, I’ve eaten chicken at least 23x a week since 1970 and I’ve never tasted chicken like this. From the light golden sauce to crispy skin, it was ideally cooked and served immediately. I had no idea. No exaggerating.Second, that this lunch in terms of price point is a super value. Check the menu when you stop in, but you’ll find Basta a wonderful value for the level of care and attention to it all.All that to say, I’m so mad I haven’t been here earlier. Regardless of the distance, it should have been on my list.Consider yourself warned you may feel the same.Parking: Get here early if Canyon Club has a show.“
“In-n-out is a 5 star experience not to mention the 5 star low price tag. For those who dislike anything that has a scent of California attached to it, from the deep south states to the east coast, those same people clammer for an original taste of In-n-0ut.Dietary restrictions: Protein style burger: lettuce replaces the bun.Parking: In-n-0ut is a favorite of every town and is busy most of the day, so parking can be a challenge.Kid-friendliness: Kids and families are welcome. Casual setting.Wheelchair accessibility: Most to all facilities are wheelchair accessible and have several wheelchair accessible parking stalls.“
“The food was excellent and the coffee, which can be hit or miss at any given restaurant, was fresh and a good medium to dark roast. There isn't anything special about the building or decor, but I actually liked that it wasn't gimmicky. The tables are all 4-seaters but can be moved to accommodate larger parties - ours was a group of 6 and we didn't have to wait to be seated despite it being a somewhat busy Saturday morning. The wait staff was fast and not too chatty, which I liked, but they also didn't check on us at all so we did have to flag someone down whenever we needed refills. I would absolutely eat there again.Parking: The parking lot was full so we had to park on the street. There are multiple other businesses sharing the same parking lot, so that was a contributing factor.“
“Salve Signor Giovanni! Si ricorda di me? Sono il ragazzo che venne da lei a cercare lavoro nel lontano 2009. Mi mando' da lei Massimo. Volevo fare il lavapiatti! E lei mi disse che dovevo stare in sala per via del mio bell'aspetto... sempre secondo lei. Mi auguro che il ristorante le vada alla grande e le auguro tutta la fortuna d'America.“
“First time here, the people are nice food was delicious. Second time, the gentleman taking my order was super nice, i would highly reccomened for nice, friendly service with delicious food! My boyfriend loves the wild west burger, i enjoy the rock and roll burger doubled.Update: March 2024Food is still so delicious! Staff was super friendly and the place felt really clean. Spent under $20 for a dinner for two, plan on going back sooner than later.“
“The place is set up as a counter order and not a full service place. They do have indoor and nice outdoor seating area.We got the he combo plate 1/2 beef and chicken. With salad and rice as the side dishes. I am from Chicago area and we have great mediterranean places!Meat flavor was ok, very light flavor, we also felt the meat was too er cooked and on the dry side. Rice had little flavor and salad was fine. One nice thing is that they offer gluten free wraps!Food taste 3 out of 5Food quality 3.5 out of 5Service 4 out of 5It’s not a bad place, I just much better quality and more flavorful mediterranean food. It’s worth a shot, but if you used to super high-quality Mediterranean food, you might walk away, feeling a little disappointed.“
“The Lucky Dog Cafe is my go-to coffee place in Simi Valley. The staff are wonderful, friendly and proficient. The coffee is outstanding, the baked goods are tasty. There is good indoor and outdoor seating in a very pleasant atmosphere. The lucky dog is pet friendly, and even though I don't own a pet, I enjoy having the occasional dog around. I highly recommend it.“
“Hands down best burrito(American style) in the valley. The soup is a hidden gem as well, I would say it is one of the best things on the menu, no matter what you get atleast get it on the side. Owner is also very nice, polite and professional to everyone. This place is small but he made sure that everyone was taken care of personally and had everything they needed and keeps the place running on a tight ship. Worth a try no matter what.“
“This place is super cool and Hannah was really nice to help me with my first bowl! I took the intro session for the first time after many years and it is for sure very helpful to remember things again and even learn newer methods on how to make different shapes with the clay! Playing with clay is super fun, feels like touching part of the nature and very soothing! You should definitely try this place since the staff are very friendly and it’s a very clean place with great instructors!!“
“I've been here twice now and I must say I am very pleased. The first time I got one of their pastas I got the rigatoni and spicy vodka sauce and it was a creamy delight but just the right amount. I went again for my moms birthday Friday night and ordered the Parmesan crusted halibut and it was perfectly cooked, moist, well seasoned, and cleverly balanced with the amount of parmesan on the crust of the fish. Their wine list is wonderful too providing excellent reds/whites/roses from highly rated regions so the pairings with the food helps balance out the flavors nicely. Very happy with both experiences and would highly recommend this place!“
“One of the best BBQ spots in Simi Valley! Love this spot! I usually end up going with the Tri Tip Sandwich (the roll is garlic bread) combo that comes with 2 sides and a fountain drink. I got the baked beans and mac & cheese. The meal was absolutely delicious! They have several BBQ sauces here and my favorite is the Whiskey Habanero BBQ. Check this spot out cause it rocks!“
“Wow, I don't know how I got so lucky to find this secret gem tucked away in the canyon, but I am so grateful for it! I was looking for some BBQ Super Bowl weekend and this showed up in my search. I made an order on their website for Super Bowl specials, drove up the next day, and showed up to find a beautiful pop up with a nice outdoor setting, huge smokers, and the nicest people. The whole operation looked like a labor of love because you can feel how the people running it care about what they're doing, who they're serving, and making damn sure they do it well. Everyone at the party enjoyed the brisket, chicken, and pork ribs along with all the sides and sauces. You literally can not go wrong with anything you order on the menu. We'll be back for more! Thank you so much for sharing your passion for bbq with us!“
“Giant portions, tasty food, classic diner menu. This is really nice restaurant and a go to spot if you’re feeling like diner food. The soup and sandwich combo is perfect. Pastrami is delicious. Highly recommend this spot, just make sure you bring a big appetite!“
“This place has the best sandwiches you’ll ever experience. All fresh, high quality, and tasty ingredients in all items on the menu. The staff is friendly and the owner is a great guy. Excellent service, delicious food, and good prices. Conveniently located right off Highway 101. Beats the long lines at In-N-Out. Make the stop. It’s worth it!“
“Really kind and friendly staff which I appreciate. They let you sample some flavors since their ice cream menu is constantly changing. I appreciate that they let you sample the flavors since I can be choosy with what ice cream flavor I want. During the last visit, there was an issue with the gift card we had and the staff member was kind enough to see what the issue was and called (over the phone) the manager/owner in order to fix the issue. The store is small inside but there is plenty of seating outside. Also plenty of parking as it is located in the central part of the shopping center. Definitely recommend if you are looking for ice cream around the West Hills area.“
