“Website was broken, but decided to go in to order take out and try the place out for the first time. Very impressed. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Placed an order and was ready really quickly. Freshness and flavors were top tier. Will definitely be going back.“
“I got the wing plate and I love that you can sub rice and noodles for pot stickers ?. Also got the fried calamari. It was everything. Definitely going back. For my drink I got the peach honey smoothie with basil seeds, mango poppers and fruit jelly. I wouldn’t change anything. It was amazing.“
“Ramen comes to mind when the weather is cool and raining! Ever since I heard Pipo Ramen & Rice is on the Top 100 Places to Eat in Sacramento, I have been wanting to try this place. It's located in South Sacramento, off 65th Street, in this quiet plaza with plenty of parking. We came here for dinner a little before 6:00 pm on weekdays, and we were the only customers. The place is clean, tidy, and spacious with a high ceiling. We sat down and were given the menu and water right away. At first, I thought this was a Japanese/Ramen restaurant because of the name. After looking at the menu, it turns out it's a Thai restaurant. Either way, I enjoy both Japanese and Thai food.I love duck, so I immediately knew I wanted the Crispy Duck Fried Rice. I was surprised that the duck breast was served on top of the basil fried rice, instead of diced and cooked together with the fried rice. I really like that because I can see what part of the duck I'm eating. It's also delicious! The duck was crispy and savory. The basil and Thai seasoning add unique flavors to the fried rice. Generous portion. I would definitely get this again. 5/5We also got the Tonkotsu Ramen. It's your typical ramen with the standard toppings and ramen egg (ajituske tamago). The broth is creamy and not too salty. It really is perfect for the rainy weather. 4/5The service was great. The server was friendly and checked on us a couple of times. We can't wait to come back and taste other dishes.“
“??Wonton in Chili Oil - It smells garlicky and good, medium spicy level. The filling is good, a pork & shrimp stuffing, the garlic is the major flavor through the dumpling. This is one of the spicer versions of this dish that I've eaten.I would come back to try other things.“
“Much more than ramen. Ate here twice, one in the evening and the next day for lunch. Had a few things off the menu. Godzilla cocktail was really good, but Godzilla vs Mothra was THE BOMB! Karaage is awesome. Brussel sprouts out of this world. Great vibe. Fantastic staff.“
“Fast service, nice experience for a date or with friends, adult friendly. I wouldn't recommend bringing kids, but teens are okay. The food is a bit pricey but makes it up with the freshness and great tasteVegetarian options: The menu lets you know what is included in the sushi and lets you know if it's Vegetarian approved.“
“Small, cozy spot with bar seating for some good Ramen Soup- broth was rich and flavorful so much so the noodles were flavorful. Delicious. I'll definitely be back for the Ramen Soup. Gyoza and Sushi was decent. We got there just in time before it got super busy with a small wait time.Downer: Parking - is difficult and tight.“
“This pace is soooooooooo good!!! Some of the best ramen I have ever had!!! The portions are HUGE!!! Everything was so flavorful! The staff is super helpful with ordering and super friendly! This is somewhere I would come back to again and again!“
“12/2023 crowded still provides excellent service, good food. Hopefully, they would open another location with a bigger dining space. Tried chicken karaage, tonkotsu ramen, and kyu don (beef with rice). All are delicious, recommended.2021 Good experience. We arrived around 6pm, crowed, many togos. Outside still had seats, only waited 10-15mins for two inside seats. Food came out quickly and tasted good. Servers are courteous. Recommended.“
“All orders are done at the counter and picked up on the side for take out. Dine in, order at the counter and you are given a number and they will bring your food to the table. The food is very good. I think most of their business is take out but it is nice to dine there with my husband sometimes.Vegetarian options: The miso broth is very good. They have lots of options to choose what you want.Parking: Large parking lotKid-friendliness: This is a family style dining establishment. They use chairs and not booths, so it could be difficult for some children to sit still.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no automatic door opener but the sidewalk is wide, not bumpy and easy to navigate.“
“The food is good for the price and comes out quickly. I've had their tonkotsu ramen and bibimbap and enjoyed both. The service is friendly and efficient. It's kind of a hole in the wall, no frills place, but I've been here several times and always had a good experience.“
“This place has great food, my daughter and I order the udon, green onion pancake, veggie gyoza, and amazing garlic edamame (one of the best I've had, if you like onion and some greens peppers with it). Packed with flavors and Thai tea to hit the spot. Decently priced and great service and parking lot.Vegetarian options: They have a vegan udon and veggie ramen. And some veggie appetizers.Parking: Small parking lot but manageable. And there is street parking“
“Vons Chicken opened a couple of years ago. They didn't do much to the dining room. It looks almost the same as before when this is Ramen and More. The dining room looks dated but comfortable and clean. They're famous for chicken. But my mood wanted the Bulgogi beef. So, I ordered the Bulgogi Rice Plate. It is ready in five minutes. It is delicious. The meat tastes excellent and juicy. I love it! I'll try their chicken one of the day. But I love their bulgogi beef very much now.“
“Very hearty bowl of ramen that was filling. I had the tan tan ramen with ground beef. It was very rich with fat but also a bit salty. Also ordered pork belly which was great, well fried and some spinach to help with the fat. The pork katsu was cooked sous vide then fried. Very very juicy and thick.“
“We had the best time here! Amazing service and excellent food & drinks. My sis and I went here for a late lunch and it turned into two hours of great conversation and drinks! It may look small from the outside but the sushi is fresh, the ramen is delicious and the drinks are in point! We will be “
“Exactly what I wanted from an authentic ramen, sushi restaurant. Quaint, delicious, straightforward Japanese dining. The shoyu ramen was absolutely delicious.Parking: I parked in the street for free.Wheelchair accessibility: Single level store with sidewalk access.“
“Great place for lunch, the tea was wonderful, but I did find the teriyaki a little too salty for my taste. I really enjoyed the gyoza; they were very tender and had a lovely, delicate flavor. The birthday girl loved the whole experience, including her stuffed jalapeños and ramen, and that's the most important part.Parking: Lots of spaces available and easy to maneuver through the lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for a standard wheelchair.“
“I am a regular here. One of the employees let us know they have a veggie bowl with just tofu that we can order that's not listed on the menu. Forever grateful because now Aloha is one of our go to stops. The price is super affordable, the service is great - the employees are kind. If you're vegan/vegetarian and can't have regular poke bowls just ask for the large veggie bowl - they give 6 scoops of tofu with any toppings. We get a base of brown rice and wonton chips (which are also really good). All for $10.95. And their boba flavors are amazing too! They come with a non dairy creamer which we love. Def recommend!“
