“We ordered the hippo bread, cauliflower, ravioli with clams and the hangar steak. All so delicious! The hippo bread is soft and sweet with that butter. The cauliflower is shareable and so good! The ravioli was fine and the hangar steak was slightly sweet and tender. Our waiter, Alejandro, was so attentive and answered all of our questions. He was fabulous! The kitchen is open so you can look and see which is always fun! Love the music, too! We walked past the restaurant but then I remembered it was by the pizza place so we circled back and found it. Can't wait to return!”

“The food is great but be aware that it is a bit on the over priced side. Service is ok, needs some improvement as the cashier taking our order was somewhat confused about the menu or she could have been new. Over all the ambience is great, it gets busy at times and seating is limited. I definitely recommend it though.”

“You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, with that said I love to try a different item on it everytime I get a chance to stop by. Taste and quality are always on point. It's awesome to see the staff having a blast together with great music in the background making the experience feel fun even when there's a wait. Pricing is perfect as the portions are generous and the flavors are like to other. So happy to see this business growing as I look forward to seeing them all over the nation one day. Keep serving it up #TYQ!”

“Lovely little hole in the wall in Boyle Heights! Obviously this place is very well known for being some of the oldest and most traditional food in LA and it deserves its local fame. Definitely worth a stop for a home-cooked, cozy meal. Owner was also super cute, she knew many regulars by name and was very kind. Parking was not great, area wasn't that great either but no surprises there.”

“This place used to serve Dalian cuisine, but in the past two years it has changed to Hong Kong dim sum, which is really good. My two daughters love coming here to eat. There are not many dishes, but they are all delicious. Every time, I must order preserved egg and lean meat porridge, chicken feet, sesame balls, fresh meat rice rolls, and barbecued pork rice rolls. It's available for takeout, but it's still fresh and delicious. David is very friendly. It has the fireworks of Guangdong and Hong Kong, as well as American hospitality. I hope to become a long-established store and keep it open.”

“Best bagel I've ever had. I've been coming to here for years and their ECA (egg, cheese, and avocado) bagel hits every single time. The schmear is the cherry on top. I love that you can order for pick up. They always have my order ready so quick. Belle's is the perfect breakfast spot!!”

“Great place to experience some new flavor combos. Service was top notch, but for us the flavors were a little dull. Maybe a case of having too high of expectations going in, but the street corn pasta dish was very underwhelming. We wouldn’t have known what it was going for. Again, food was still delicious, maybe worth another shot to try the rest of the menu.”

“Love Shlap Muon! Best chicken wings I’ve ever had—my favorite is the Jalapeño MSG with a side of Buffalo sauce! I first tried their food in San Francisco earlier this year and had to visit the new location on my family vacation. It didn’t disappoint as all of our food was excellent and the owners are so friendly. Best of luck in SoCal!”

“Having been a fan of Sichuan Impression since their Valley Blvd days, I was thrilled to finally visit their new location on Main St, especially after their well-deserved Michelin recommendation. And let me tell you, the experience did not disappoint!First off, the new space is immaculate. It's evident that they've put a lot of thought into the ambiance, and it pays off. The sleek, modern decor adds a touch of elegance without losing the authentic charm that Sichuan Impression is known for.But what truly sets Sichuan Impression apart is, of course, the food. And I'm pleased to report that the move hasn't affected the quality one bit. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.”

“Excellent restaurant, very clean and the food is great. Only issue is the parking, only street parking but it’s not a big deal. After eating delicious food you don’t care about it.Parking: Wish they had a parking spot, but after eating good food at a good restaurant it doesn’t matter.”

“Borneo Eatery specializes in Indonesian, Malaysian, and Singaporean cuisine. I ordered the Singaporean Laksa and Beef Randang plate: The Laksa was delicious! It's made with a strong shrimp broth based with light curry aftertaste; the addition of crispy fried shallots elevated the taste. The soup arrived pipping hot filled with generous ingredients of fish cake, tofu, shrimp, bean sprouts, corn... the house made egg noodles were amazing! Definitely get it with egg noodles. Very good I thought. The Beef Rendang was good, but I thought the beef shank was a little chewy, needed to be more tender. Overall flavor was good with all the components (fried tofu, curry egg, and spicy peanut anchovy) on the plate. Service was efficient and Ambiance is ok. The place looks renovated and very clean. Parking is easy peasy: park at the FREE parking structure behind the restaurant. Payment: Credit or Cash.”

“Cute, mid-sized food hall in the heart of downtown San Gabriel's Mission District. Good variety of cuisines from Jamaican patties to sushi to crêpes. There is a good selection of tables for small and big groups inside, as well as larger picnic style tables on the patio by the parking lot. There is also a stage and longer style tables for viewing in front of it, which I assume are for performances from local artists or community groups. so far I have yet to run into anyone performing there, but I hope to in the future!”
