“The food is always wonderful and last night, 12/5/24, the service was 5 stars. Everyone who assisted us were friendly, professional, and efficient.
We had a large company dinner of approximately 20 of us and everything came off perfectly.
A few weeks back, we had a group of 12 of us and the service was not nearly as good. The waiter was hard to find and slow to take our orders. However, his assistant was extremely quick to come by and refill our water glasses and top them off with bottled water... even when they didn't need it and hadn't been touched. At $8 a bottle it added $48 to our bill, and seemed to the entire table a way to fluff the bill. Getting more bread was extremely difficult, more unneeded water, easy.
Last night when we were asked if we wanted flat or sparkling water, the entire table insisted tap would be fine. They brought it out in chilled glass bottles and we honestly couldn't tell the difference. And, instead, spent extra money on additional side dishes, salads, soup, etc. We also enjoyed some nice wine and champagne.
A great restaurant with consistently good food. Just skip the bottled water unless you really enjoy it and ask for tap. Spend the money on the food, you can get bottled water anywhere.“

“I’ve been visiting Mediterraneo as long as it has been open. It is one of my all-time favorite restaurants based on service, amazing menu, quality food, decor, atmosphere, and of course the dessert & bar. Antonio Sessa's Made in Italy was a delightful surprise. Every bite transported me back to Italy. The food was prepared with such care and passion that it was clear this Italian Chef had a truly deep love for our cuisine.
