“First visit to Golden Star Donuts. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and the old fashioned donuts we had were some of the best I’ve ever eaten. We came late Sunday morning and the selection was a bit limited due to many thing being sold out which makes me think this place is quite popular. I would return again.“
“We ordered a vegan pumpkin pie & apple crumble pie. They were both very delicious. Everyone enjoyed them on thanksgiving. They also make bomb vegan cookies.Dietary restrictions: My daughter cant have eggs dairy or gluten & they were able to swap out items & make a delicous vegan pumpkin pie & vegan cookies.“
“I was waiting to go for Cava and saw this spot and glad I tried it.I ordered the chocolate chip and the red velvet cookies. Both were served warm and they were delicious, soft, crumbly, flaky. One of the best cookies I’ve had and I wish I had milk to go with it.It was definitely a great visit and I’d come back to get more cookies in the future. I think if they had ice cream, it’d be phenomenal.“
“Our hostess Luz gave us excellent service. She took care of us flawlessly which was a party of 18 for my dad's 80th birthday on Sunday, April 21st. She was very cordial, efficient, and made everyone feel special!!! We appreciate and want her to be recognized for her excellent service!! She was always ahead of the game. “Mexican bread at its finest. What more can I say... well let's not forget about their tamales, a little more masa than I am used to but that's ok because even the masa tastes wonderful. And their Avena reminds me of the way my grandma (Mi Ama) used to make it. Every time I pass by here, whether I am hungry or not I have to stop. Highly recommend that you do as well“
“The best mexican pan dulce around town. I'm pretty particular about the flavors and texture of mexican bread. This place has got it down packed!! And the prices are lower than most bakeries in the area. A true gem I went home and made some mexican hot chocolate with my favorite- chocolate Rey Amargo, and the pairing was excellent. So glad I found this place.“
“Nice neighborhood Italian deli and fast casual restaurant. Really missed the original Lascari's on Whittier Blvd so we gave this deli location a try. Was surprised at the pasta and pizza options. The pasta dishes and chicken piccata were all pretty good. The minestrone soup is excellent. Pizza was also delicious. Large selection at the Deli. Great local place for a quick bite with reasonable prices.“
“Staff were super friendly and were happy to suggest drinks based on our preferences. I had an iced banana latte and my husband had a dirty chai. Both were delicious and perfectly flavored without being overly sweet. We also tried a garlic cream cheese stuffed bagel that was both sweet and savory. We had a smore cookie with chunks of chocolate that we thoroughly enjoyed and finished off quickly. Overall we really enjoyed the drinks the best and will be back again soon.“
