“I stopped by Chami and decided to try both some milk tea and the egg waffle. For the milk tea, I decided to get a large Thai milk tea. This had a decent flavor to it, no cheap syrupy after taste that you may find in other shops. The sweetness is fine as well, not overtly sweet. The egg waffle is plan and akin to a style from Hong Kong. However, the taste was rather plain. A decent pairing with a sweet drink, but overall it was a bit disappointing. Overall, Chami has se good milk tea, but I think the egg waffles are more of a novelty.“

The place is well lit and bright my only complaint is that because I came in the late evening the air conditioning was on and it was already chilly outside. “Amazing shop, our favorite boba place and we come here weekly. The owner and staff are so friendly and always remember us. Our favorite drink is the Viva Mango it has plum flavoring and Tajin! The perfect salty/sweet flavoring, So good! I also recommend the Coconut Pandan. I always get 50% sweetness but my kids prefer full sweetness. All the drinks are very different, so if you try one that is not your favorite, visit again and try another. They are sure to have something you enjoy and you cannot beat the great customer service.“

“a nice, refreshing place to get your ice tea fix! chun yang is located in a small plaza with a parking lot. i came on a thursday afternoon and there weren't many spots available. there is street parking nearby if you can't get a spot in the plaza. i got the honey osmanthus oolong tea, their #1 popular drink. i appreciated the server, who was very knowledgeable about the drinks and their sweetness levels. i got my drink at 50% sweetness, and it was still super sweet, so 25% is probably best if you don't like your drink tasting like sugar syrup. the tea, however, was the best part since it was strong and refreshing! this is a small shop, so don't expect any tables to hang out in here. there is a bench to sit and wait for your order, but that's all for seating. there is a public restroom for customers. overall, great place for a refreshing and strong tea drink. the quality of the tea was great, and it is perfect for a hot day.“

“My absolute new favorite poke place. The make-your-own options are fantastic, and I am able to make the best poke I have every eaten, and I have tried MANY places. On top of that, I recently wanted to go, but forgot they close at 7:30p. I called at like 7:21p to confirm when they close (I am ~10 min away), and they offered to keep the place open for my wife and I to get over there. Great service from the two fellows that were there! However I tried a brown sugar milk tea with boba & the boba in my drink was super hard / chewy - not very enjoyable & tasted undercooked. Hopefully it's just an odd batch! Overall solid spot and I like coming here when I don't feel like venturing far for boba.“

“The power of Yelp! Bobaful is right in the lobby sharing a long counter with Starbucks in the Monterey Park Marriott Courtyard. And that lobby? It's huge and perfect for hanging out with your boba; lots of sofas, comfy chairs, counters and even booths with TVs. I understand they validate parking, but I think it's easier to park across the street (Atlantic Times Square shopping plaza with the AMC Theatre and 24 Hour Fitness -- huge free parking lot below). Under our governor's "Freedom to Walk" act, jaywalking was decriminalized for 2023, so go for it! Bobaful was a busy media darling, long lines at 626 Night Market, but you'll love this brick-and-mortar location. No waiting, super friendly staff, and $3-4 cheaper than other boba places. Sometimes they have a 2-for-1 and the boba really gets flowing. I'm a green tea guy and it's awesome (try the Dragonfruit). The milk teas also get raves and the cup is so nice, you will hate to toss it. Congrats Bobaful. Your shop is a hit!“
“I stopped by randomly at night, and it was empty. The decor was nice and vibrant. With lots of anime stuff, which is awesome to me as an Otaku. I ordered the mango passion fruit lemonade. It was made quickly and to perfection. The level of sweetness to tartness was spot on. The lady asked me to taste it before I left to ensure I liked my drink. I told her it was perfect. “I used to frequent Bambu growing up and all the ones in my area closed. I saw this spot next to the restaurant I was having dinner at and knew I was going to be getting dessert from here. If I just hadn't had a pasta dinner, I would have ordered a Chewy Pandan but I knew that would be too filling so I opted for the Jelly Coco. The Jelly Coco is coconut water based instead of coconut milk so it's more refreshing and lighter. It fruits (coconut, lychee, longan) and fun pandan and basil seed bits. I enjoyed my drink and would definitely be returning to try the Chewy Pandan. Service was quick! We were there arounf 30 minutes before closing and although there were a few people who ordered ahead of us, we still got our drinks fairly quick. The inside has very few seating so I would'nt hangout there for too long.“
“I really wanted to like this place more, but unfortunately there were a few things that brought them down to 4 stars. First thing first, the drinks. I like to get the regular milk tea from these places to really assess their quality and taste. If you can get the basics right, you're a step ahead! So, got their Brown Sugar milk tea with boba and it was okay. Nothing spectacular. I want to give them another try because they have some very interesting flavors and options in their menu such as the Hokkaido creamer milk substitute and the Oreo series blended drinks. I give them props for their ingredients as you can watch them make the drinks right in front of you and they made everything fresh to order, no premixed teas or powders. Their decor and theme is quirky and fun. You can tell they put an effort to make the place catch your attention and everything looked clean and organized. Prices are reasonable and within the market value for this type of stuff. The ding for me was the limited seating inside and the smell. It's not nasty like "I need to get the H-E-double-hockey-sticks outta here!" type of smell, but definitely a bit off. I tried to come back and try another drink when I was waiting for my tacos from the other place next to them, but that smell threw me off again. A little ding for not having any snacks at all. Not even like cookies or prepackaged Japanese treats or something. Anyway, that's my take on this place.“

“Decided to treat myself to a milk tea after a run and looked up local boba shops in the area and came across Moo Tea. I got a regular milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice and it was good! The tea flavor was definitely present but not as strong as other places in the area. If you're a bit more sensitive towards sweetness in your drinks, I would stick with 25% as I found the 50% to be a bit too sweet for me. I came at around 4 PM on a Sunday and the store was empty so the service was undeniably quick. There's a kiosk to order from so you can take your time and look through the menu. Overall, a good experience and would come back!“

Podong is a uniquely Korean inspired boba shop with some of the most interesting drink concoctions. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots and you can find it next to the Gold's gym. Once you walk in, you'll be greeted by a modern nostalgic street style type of interior. They do a great job of juxtaposing nostalgic and retro themes with modern and streetwear ones. As for their drinks, they have such a variety to choose from. Wifey and I opted for the Korean pear slush and the injeolmi slush and both were super refreshing with flavors uniquely Korean. The staff here are awesome and very friendly. We will definitely be back to try their other drinks next time we're in the area!“

“Neighbors is an awesome spot to kickback with some friends! I finally decided to try this place out after driving past it so many times on Colima. Inside, there are a few booths with comfy couches that really allow you to relax for a conversation with friends. I noticed that some of the prices for drinks were just a step cheaper than some of the popular tea shops like 7 Leaves, Tiger Sugar, and Summerfield, which are selling milk tea at around $6 now. After trying their Vietnamese coffee, it didn't seem like they sacrificed on the quality for their better prices. I also tried their Hazelnut Cream dessert. While it was a little pricey ($9), I was really happy with the taste. The mousse was very light and it was not too sweet! I'll definitely be bringing my friends to try some of their other drinks next time.“
