We visit family in Placerville pretty much yearly, so thinking we may need to veer off I-5 on our way for the full experience.”

“Found this place in Dunnigan. We were really hungry and were only looking at fast food options. This place is wonderful! Definitely did not expect this. But will come back again when we’re coming through Dunnigan. All the food was very fresh and very tasty. Chile relleno was exceptionally good and I am very picky about Chile Rellanos!!”

“This is such a cool place to stop near Sacramento! Perfect to hit up right after flying in or before flying out. They have free honey tasting, and you wouldn't believe how different honey tastes till you try it! They serve meads, which I didn't try but heard they were delicious. They offer several different flight options. To top it all off they also serve food, from a snack to a whole meal with dessert. There's an outside patio that's absolutely darling to sit and enjoy the weater. I highly recommend stopping by this place!”

The owner operators are so very kind and friendly towards ensuring you are satisfied and will be a return customer! We had a 'treat meal' on our clean meals schedule and loved the consistency after many months away.”

Not only is it cute, but the drinks are amazing! To top it off the staff is so sweet & the owner is so amazing!! “Thai Pepper is a godsend to vegans and vegetarians in Woodland (and meat eaters as well). Stick with the Thai dishes to get some awesome food that tastes home cooked. They just got their license for beer and wine so definitely worth dining in - though for sure their carry out business is the bomb. They are closing for April so get ready for an awesome May when they get back. Best dishes IMHO are Fresh Rolls w Tofu, Pumpkin Curry with brown rice, Crispy Tofu and Pad Thai vegan with tofu no egg. Tom kha is delicious as well.”

“I have literally tried every meat there and I liked all of them and loved some of them over others. Staff is super friendly and HELLA cool! The burritos are amazing!!! Their tacos and salsa are amazing!!! My favorite meats are tripas, extra crispy, cabeza, chorizo, al pastor of course, which is their number one and authentic with the trompo (spit fire), and their salsa is also amazing!!! Number one spot!!! 7 stars!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“So delighted we saw this cafe on our way out of a night at Cache Creek Hotel.. lovely interior & people.. even bought a beautiful beaded necklace from local goods offered.. my Mocha was perfect & breakfast sandwiches so tasty.. when u go, plz look up & check out the great almond branch light fixture the owner crafted that's in sitting room. So awesome!! Greatest unscheduled 45 minutes we've had on a mini-vacation.. Thanks Lucy's!!”

“The fam and I stayed in Woodland Friday night. We live in Nevada. I grew up in Esparto and know Woodland fairly well. My sis and I used to stop in here back in the day. There were 8 of us plus the 18 month old bitty girl. They split us between a table and booth. The service was outstanding! Warm and friendly and efficient! And the food was great! No complaints were heard at all! We will stop in again down the road!”

Went with my mother and grandmother (they brought a coupon from the local paper).We were greeted and seated right away.I ordered the Cinnamon Bun French toast with bacon, country potatoes, and eggs over medium. Everything was delicious, eggs were more over easy but other than that the cinnamon bun French toast was sweet but not overly sweet. Potatoes had nice seasoning and were crispy. The bacon was cooked perfectly.My mother ordered the BLTA sandwich with fruit. She said she like it.My grandmother had the senior plate with waffle and eggs. She said it was just the right amount and was also good.We definitely will be coming back again, make sure to find a coupon ?”

“My friend and I were heading home from a trip to nor cal and I needed a driving break. I found this spot through Yelp! It was in Woodland on our way down the 5. When we got there, there was live music from a band playing 90's covers. I really enjoyed the band. I got a pint of beer and ordered a personal pizza from the onsite mobile pizza truck. This place was a bit crowded and I liked the vibe. I definitely recommend!”

“These are some of the best tacos in the area! The flavor really just comes out in the meat. The radish and carrots they give with their tacos and the cilantro in the tacos are fresh, adding to the taste. The tortillas have a nice crunch to them.”
