You have to remember that this is sushi in Colorado. The waiter summed up the experience when he bragged that "none of our fish is frozen." Keep your expectations low and have fun ordering the varied offerings. The shabu-shabu is more of a hot-pot-type meal than traditional Japanese shabu-shabu. I had some of the scallop and was underwhelmed and did not thereafter have the courage to try the uni, which can be very hit-or-miss in the U.S. The food comes out fast, and you will feel like you are being rushed. We were a small party, but Jing added a 20% gratuity on the meal+tax total, so don't be surprised.

The food was so good, but the service could not have been worse. Our waitress, Molly, forgot our order and never came to check to make sure we got it (we didn't). We could see her goofing off with her friends the whole time. When she finally came to check on us, she smelt like alcohol and gave my boyfriend attitude about the whole situation.

Excellent choice in Aspen! Have visited Aspen many times and Jing is my go-to favorite for Asian cuisine. The Shanghai Dumplings, French Onion Soup Dumplings, Lucky 8 Dumpling platter are superb and amount the very best I have tasted worldwide. Executive Chef Frank really establishes a unique, savory interpretation of how to prepare and present Asian cuisine the right way! The Mamasita Roll and “New Style Yellowtail” sushi are delicious and are must haves along with the Dumplings (mentioned above). Thank you Executive Chef Frank and Ms. Molly for an excellent Anniversary experience and the most savory experience in Aspen. Warmest regards, Dean

Disliked the experience from the server asking me for a drink order while I was still taking my jacket off to really disliking some food (egg roll thing tasted like dirty socks). Then when our final course was taking forever we asked to cancel it but when checked in the kitchen she said it was “almost done”. Well 8-9min later the sea bass comes out. Really disliked the entire meal

All of the help was amazing and friendly and very knowledgeable about any questions we had, we loved that the owner, CHEF, came around and spoke to us. The food was so so amazing, especially when we had a horrible meal the night before at Aqualina .

Lunch is a great time to indulge! Not very crowded. It's a nice place. Not too stuffy. It's easy to let the check get away from you. However, it's worth it!
We always have a great meal and experience at Jing. The staff is incredibly accommodating and the food is really good. The noise level is a bit high for table conversation, but otherwise a wonderful experience.
Best dining in Aspen! Professional staff and the food is perfection. Chef Frank is super friendly and has got the whole dining experience dialed in, will definitely be coming back❤️

Great food. Great service. Loved the dumplings we ordered. The lobster taco was awesome. The duck taco was great too. Enjoyed the string beans. Friend had a drink. Bill with tip came to just over $100 per person for the two of us

Jing is my absolute favorite restaurant in Aspen. The food is all amazing from the sushi to A5 wagyu cooked at your table on a hot rock. Cocktails are also good and the highlight is if Frank stops by your table to have a drink with you!
