“Just tried this place for the first time and it was delicious! The beef ribs were fall of the bone tender, the hot links were very well seasoned and juicy, and the burnt ends had a perfectly salty bark while still having big chunks of tender meat. Also, the corn bread and hush puppies were both some of the best I’ve ever had! Will definitely be back to try more meats, as well as the delicious looking cakes that were on display and soul food Saturday.“

“I ordered from grubhub. First I'd like to address how fresh and hot my food was still. I appreciate that since it was delivery. I got the chicken wing dinner with greens and potato salad.The wings were good I might just add a little more seasoning and maybe to cook a little longer but they were good.The greens were bomb!The potato salad was good but taste store bought.Overall I'd order or go in and eat again.“
“We stopped in to try Mississippi Boy last night and were not disappointed. We ordered the family style combo meal for three to try multiple offerings. Food was great, especially the catfish, shrimp, sausage and greens. The portions were generous and we left with leftovers enough for another whole meal.
