Finding BBQ with fried okra is uncommon around Denver, so I took a gamble on this place. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. I'd say this is my current favorite BBQ place in the greater Denver area. The ribs are excellent dry rub smoked. The shrimp are huge and breaded very well similar to the catfish. We stopped in to try Mississippi Boy last night and were not disappointed. We ordered the family style combo meal for three to try multiple offerings. Food was great, especially the catfish, shrimp, sausage and greens. The portions were generous and we left with leftovers enough for another whole meal. The atmosphere and service was friendly and relaxed.Great place! We definitely will be coming back.
