We struggled to find the entrance, I don't think they are filling up with passersby. But once discovered - after getting over the pretentiousness of the nearly hidden silver door with an S on it, we had a fantastic meal!Everything we ate was delicious, the wine I had was very good if a bit overpriced. The service was excellent. We had the gnocchi (perfectly cooked ,interesting flavor) and the scallop risotto with black truffles. The latter was perfect. The desserts were the highlight for us - I would highly recommend the pistachio creme brulee.Only complaint was the tap water tasted like dirt. It was explained they had a new filtration system, tasted like it must be filtered through sand.Overall I'd highly recommend Stella's and will definitely return next time I'm in Boulder.'Terra' misu photo.

Delicious food, more elevated than anywhere else in Boulder. Stellar service, nice wine. Loud live music, uncomfortable booths that are oddly far from the table and people across the table. Hip space that lacks warmth and very cave-like with zero windows.

Wonderful atmosphere but the DJ techno music got old fast, a jazz band would be so much better. I ordered the sea scallops with truffle risotto for $48 and while the taste was delicious, the portion was skimpy with three little scallops. Also, there were no reasonable wines by the bottle. A little disappointing after all the hype.

Great vibe and tasty cuisine. Feels like a private club. Not inexpensive though.

Superb! What a fabulous hidden gem. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and seated in a fabulous circular booth. The decor is stunning... we felt like we were in an exclusive club in NYC. Our server Florin was delightful, helpful, and very funny. The food was exquisite and we left full and happy. Prices reflect the fabulousness of the experience. We look forward to returning... because my husband ate my Crème Brûlée and I need another!Parking: It's Boulder! :) If you plan to arrive a few minutes early, you can find street parking if you're lucky or park in the paid garage directly across the street.

Absolutely fantastic dinner. Great atmosphere, truly well thought out and prepared food, and wonderful service. Highly recommend. I'll be back next time I'm in the Boulder area for sure.

This was our first experience with Stella. I had high expectations of a good meal and was a bit shocked with the quality of them meal. I'm not sure where to begin, the cold hard crostini, the under cooked beans in the Ribollita my overcooked pasta (mushy) or my husbands mushy broccoli- cauliflower-carrot side that suspiciously resembles what would come out of a frozen Bird's Eye bag. I was really excited for a delicious meal, such a disappointment. The service was good, staff very friendly!

I've been to a lot of drag shows, and they were not impressive at all. The food wasn't adequate for the price we paid. The food was actually not enticing at all. I love Stella Cucina, but this was not a value and a waste of time

very very cool!food was great, service was sketchy, art was unappetizing. Drinks were great! Dessert was great but what we ordered was sold out but second choice was good too.We will be back to give servers a chance to get organized

The service and atmosphere are great. We went for Sunday brunch and it was not packed, so the noise level was low making it easy to have conversations. I gave it 3 stars because the food was ok but not worth the price. Might try for dinner.

One of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. The service was stellar, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was on point. Everything we ordered was to die for; filet mignon, roasted duck, pistachio crème brûlée, espresso martini, etc. Top notch spot I would absolutely visit again.

By far my favorite restaurant in Boulder right now. It’s hard to find with just an understated steel door with an “s” handle. But service has always went great, unique ambiance and prices aren’t outrageous(unless you go crazy with the wine list).
