It was ok. I know it's subway but I've had better subway. The place is severely understaffed. The kid there was playing on his phone when we walked in and he honestly didn't seem like he wanted to be there. He couldn't have been older than 18. I'd also feel that way if I was stuck working a Sunday by myself. But a smile and hello goes a long way.
Unfriendly employee he was very unaware of what was going on and just stared out in the distance several times then was like huh, I listed toppings 1 or 2 at a time, don't remember if he washed his hands after ringing up the previous customer.. but he did use his ungloved hand to put on the first glove then had to fix it but did so by grabbing the fingers and palm of the outside of the glove contaminating it.
