“Met my best friend for lunch, and we had an incredible time. Our server, Gwen, was absolutely awesomely sweet, personable, very professional, kept our glasses full and our table clear. She should be the training server for all your new hires because she is that fabulous. I know, I served and bar tended for 40+ years and trained new hires. It would be a betterment for corporate in the long run. Keep up and fantastic work, Gwen!! Can't wait to hear about your new addition and her weight etc!!“

“Eat in! The pizza crust is light and chewy, not dense. We enjoy the food every time! Our favorites are: Pietro pizza, Tortellini Alla Miceli, and Caesar and Mista salads. The gelato is delicious, highly recommend the salted caramel. The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming. Staff is always polite and helpful. Great for families!

“Love this place and the awesome owners, who are always on-site making the best pizza in town! We personally love the thin crust pizza with alfredo, green peppers and sausage. Their taco pizza is also wicked good. These folks not only know how to make some fantastic pizza, but understamd the importance of customer service. When an error was made on a recent order, they went above and beyond to make it right, and did so with a smile. It was clear we were valued as customers. Places like this are hard to find. So glad they are in the Springs!“

Our food was spectacular and we loved everything we ordered including the dessert, a pumpkin bread pudding with brioche bread and toffee syrup that was to die for. “This Italian restaurant we visited in Colorado looks across a lake. Ristorante del Lago at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs specializes in Italian hospitality & cuisine with house-made pasta & wood-fired pizzas with a view. We dined here for dinner during our stay at The Broadmoor.

We arrived and were seated on the indoor patio with a view of the lake. Our server Megan was such a pleasure - she had fabulous recommendations, advised us on the most popular and seasonal items, and had the sweetest demeanor. She was a real testament to The Broadmoor’s commitment to exceptional service.

We started our meal with two Zero-Proof Specialties - the Meleto and the Lapo's Spritz. The Meleto was made with apple cider infusion, NA Ginger Beer, & Soda. The Lapo's Spritz was made wtih Lapo's NA Apertivo, Orange, Vanilla, Lemon, & Soda.

The Antipasti Misti was made with the Chef's selection of Formaggi & Salumi.

The Aosta Pizza was made with house-made sausage, charred pepper, roasted garlic, & fontina. The wood-fired cooking method gave the crust and toppings a lovely smoky, slightly charred flavor. The house-made sausage was meaty, and the fontina cheese (a semi-hard Italian cheese) provided a creamy, nutty flavor that melted beautifully over the pizza.

The Lobster Pappardelle was made with main lobster, cherry tomato, & saffron butter. The lobster had a delicate sweetness to it that was countered by the burst of acidity from the cherry tomatoes.

The Tortelli Al Brasato was made with braised veal stuffed pasta with roasted cipollini, red wine, rosemary, butter, and Parmigiano cheese. This seasonal pasta was a rich and flavorful dish with a complex taste profile. The braised veal filling imparted a deep, meaty flavor, while the red wine and rosemary added depth. The butter added a smooth, creamy texture to the pasta. This was our favorite pasta of the night.

Of course, we had to leave room for the homemade gelato. We had the Cookies & Cream, Strawberry, & Chocolate Crunch gelatos that were served in a beautiful silver goblet with a cookie on top.“

“This Italian restaurant was a great experience overall. As someone from Europe who has visited Italy many times, I’d say it captures a mix of authentic Italian flavors with a noticeable American twist. The pasta I had was excellent the sauce and the pasta itself were spot on but there was a bit too much baked cheese for my taste. The fried mozzarella, on the other hand, felt very American, but it was still enjoyable. The highlight of the evening was definitely our server, Dylan, who was incredibly kind and attentive. Great service always makes a difference!“

“I always have a great experience at this place. The staff is wonderful, and the food is phenomenal, especially the pizza crust, which is absolutely perfect. Just a couple of nights ago, we ordered a margarita pizza, and it was outstanding—definitely one of the best pizzas offered by a chain. You can tell that it's freshly made because the mixer is right in front, so you know they make the dough on-site. Unlike those par-baked options from grocery stores, which are frozen and simply thawed before baking, this pizza has a freshness that makes a real difference.

I've heard there are some non-chain pizza places, or "mom-and-pop" shops, that are just as good, but for a larger chain, this place does an exceptional job—something that’s quite rare for chain restaurants. I usually prefer to avoid chains because the food tends to be mediocre, just decent enough to eat but not remarkable. There’s one pizza place in Michigan that I know is far superior, but unfortunately, that's quite a distance from Colorado Springs.“

“This is long over due. Went there 1st time about a year ago and I had made a mistake ordering on the website I had placed 2 orders, I ordered and paid at the wrong store for pickup in denver. That being said management went above and beyond to get it corrected and got both families dinners done in a timely manner hot and fresh i was ordering for my family and taking one to another family!!! Since then bc of how great they were and it was my mistake we have gone back many many times and I have to say the atmosphere is awesome for a date the restaurant is always clean and the food tastes great and fresh....def recommend the chicken parm!!! Seriously go Check them out the prices are right and the food is awesome. Outstanding service and management really knows what they are doing! I am out of the army but still get dinners to take to my joes and families old habit and they all agree this place is awesome and close to Carson!“

“I stopped by here on my way to work, the pizza was light and crispy. It wasn't the best pizza but it was by no means bad, I liked the cheese they use. I also grabbed a pasta chicken Alfredo and it is flavorful and the portions are generous. The two ladies were keeping busy with is always a good thing to see, they were quick and polite. I will likely be stopping by again if I want a quick Italian meal in my way to work“

Service is top-notch, but they mislabeled a pizza once, I ate it when I got home, and sausage with mushroom was fine, but I had a pepperoni itch to scratch, oh well. I now check what's in the box before I leave.“
