we loved it yesterday for lunch and came back today to eat breakfast and try the cinnamon rolls. our waitress Sarah was pleasant, prompt, excellent at her job, with a cheerful personality and helpful in every way. highly recommend the country biscuit, and the roast beef sandwich was wonderful. Definitely try the cinnamon roll but get there early or miss out because they'll be gone. Jimmie & Beverly Wallace. OKC, Ok.

My wife and I have road tripped over 100,000 miles together. We love to eat at little non-chain restaurants like this. Mountain Shadows is one of THE BEST we have ever eaten at. We ate there twice on our visit to CO Springs! Even with only two people waiting tables AND bussing, the service was amazing. Never felt forgotten about and they were friendly and personable. Will make a point to come here again anytime we come near Colorado Springs!
