“This place is next level. When you walk in your immediately greeted by smiles and good smells. We love that they have a bar as well that has pretty much anything you could want. The bbq is some of the best we have had. The sandwiches are great. My girl loves the collard greens! We have yet to have a bad thing. The works are also tentative and always keeping everything clean. We love it! Our favorite BBQ spot in Denver!“

“Stopped in their Denver location. Big establishment and nice atmosphere. Food was amazing as usual. Spicy Green Beans were delicious. I got their Brisket and Smoked Sausage combo. Tender and full of flavor. Tried to Hot Clucker sauce which is spicy. The service is great and staff cracks me off! Definitely will be back!“

“Showed up right when they opened, took about ten minutes to order and another ten minutes for the food to come. It felt like a while in the moment, but I think I just showed up on a day that they had a slow start.I only got the Loco-Moco to go. It was very hearty, the portion was large and the gravy had great rich flavor to it. For my first Loco Moco, I was impressed. The portions are massive too, it was easily two meals.“

“As you walk in the aroma of smoke smells so freaking good! I had the Fish Fillet plate with Mac N Cheese & Red Beans Rice & my wife had Pulled Pork & Ribs. This is the very first time I’ve heard my wife say “omg these ribs are so good & they’re falling off the bone”. Amazing Service, clean establishment & the music was at a comfortable level. We will most definitely be returning very soon“

“Great bar, venue, and BBQ! I really enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere at Globe Hall. I had brisket and pulled pork with a TRVE brew before the show, all tasted great. Tickets were affordable to see an indie group I’ve been following for a while. Vibe during the show was fun and intimate. Definitely worth checking out this venue/bar/restaurant.“

“We could smell this place as we left Porter hospital. So glad we found it. The food is simply perfect. The pork and brisket sandwiches were so moist and delicious. The Homemade potato chips were fresh, crisp and perfectly salted. The staff were welcoming, friendly and so very kind. They quickly got our food to us. The were nice and super professional. They had obvious pride in their food. They offered us a sample of AMAZING Mac and cheese and perfect lil Carmel puffs with peanuts. We live in Fountain but will happily drive to Denver for this wonderful place. Not only is the BBQ on point but the staff are great! Thank you!“

“I can’t wait to visit again. I had the brisket rice bowl, it was delicious.I’m not normally a coleslaw fan, but I enjoyed the non-mayonnaise sesame slaw. The pickled vegetables were refreshing and perfectly complemented the rest of the dish. They have an impressive selection of barbecue sauces. The last time I had brisket this good was in San Antonio, Texas.Vegetarian options: There are vegan meat alternatives, such as mushrooms.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten-free/celiac options.Parking: Decent amount of spots in the parking lot. Plenty of street parking too.“

“Love L&L. Originally had gone to the Aurora location, but this one is much closer. Food was still great. Staff was very friendly (thanks Sandy!) They give you good portions for the price. There is a small seating area at this location. Maybe 8 or so tables, varied in size. Def recommend!“

“They did BBQ and sides for our rehearsal dinner and it was amazing. All the food was at the correct temperature, flavorful, and there was plenty of it. It tasted like it had just come off the smoker. I would highly recommend this restaurant!“

“I’m from Memphis. The owner of this restaurant is from Yazoo, MS and was inspired by Memphis style BBQ. He wanted to open up a shop in Memphis, but instead of competing with his friend, Craig (owner of one of Memphis’ best BBQ joints, Central BBQ), he moved to Denver and opened up Yazoo. Let me tell you this place is more than divine. It is literally the best BBQ in Denver without a doubt, and competes with the best in Memphis as well. Congrats to the chefs! Incredible each and every time.“

Christina really cares about doing a great job and was incredibly attentive and positive. Shout out to Keren and Taylor in the catering department who were amazing as well. “Have eaten here a couple of times. The menu is more than ample for anyone looking to satisfy a yen for meaty BBQ goodness. Also, plenty of delicious sides. I recently ate lunch here during my break so no alcohol for me but there is a well optioned bar here for libations. You'll need to enter in to the restaurant from the hotel, either through front lobby or there is a door back by Smok itself. There is a fairly tight parking lot out front or use the hotel parking garage out back. Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very casual so don't worry about showing up in your uniform. We will be back here again.“

“This really is a Denver jewel. Coming from the South with a strong appreciation for Carolina and Texas BBQ, they hit the mark every time. The ribs, tri tip and brisket are incredibly good and the sides (truffle Mac n’ cheese, slaw, cornbread, bbq beans) are excellent. Service with a smile? Always. Happy smiling customers? Yep. Best BBQ in Denver? Absolutely. Unconventional, rough and sparkly, we love this place.“
