“A review from a French guest I brought:I liked everything : the food, the service, the decoration and even more the bread !I’m French and the food it’s absolutely worth it. Also the details and the decoration of this restaurant/bakery are just amazing.“
“Lovely and knowledgeable staff. It's a cute space with a beautiful patio. It is tucked into a cool neighborhood. The food is good and expensive for the whole experience and quality. They are in competition with many other "new American" farm-to-table type spots in Denver.“
“I tried 3 pastries here and all were delicious! I had a raspberry croissant, chocolate almond croissant, and a parmesan leek pastry. They were pretty busy Saturday morning so it might be a struggle occasionally if you want to dine in. The woman at the counter was super friendly and helpful in helping me pick what to get.“
“Love the new location of this iconic restaurant. Beautiful space, more open and hip, and the food is better than ever. Had the French Onion soup, Ott Provence Rose was suggested by my server; Beautiful and a great pairing with the sweetbreads. Service was great. Excellent experience!“
“My boyfriend and I were treated to a dinner at Mizuna and absolutely loved every second of our experience. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were made to feel special, important, and like our business mattered. The real treat, though, was the food. You can tell that care, precision, and passion is put into every dish at Mizuna, matched with perfect wine pairings to make it an even better experience. My boyfriend is a chef and I am a teacher, so it was a treat for us to experience a fine dining experience like this one. We highly recommend Mizuna!“
“My stars say it all. I love the authentic French atmosphere. Our server, Elina, was prompt and attentive. And the food was terrific. When the bread and butter are excellent, you know the rest of the meal will be too. The butter was of a quality that you cannot buy in a regular grocery store. Wish I knew the source. My first course during Restaurant Week was the onion soup. It was really good, although I have had better. But the beef bourguignon was killer. The beef roast had been slow roasted, as it should be, and was fork tender. The creme brulee was heavenly! Probably the best example of this dessert that I have had in many, many years. Certainly better than my own. I was told that the recipe is top secret, and I can believe it. You won't find better anywhere.“
“We chose Restaurant Week to visit this restaurant. It was lovely. Food was fresh and excellently prepared. The staff was welcoming and our server was friendly. The restaurant is not in our neighborhood but we may go back. The food and service was certainly worthy of a return visit.“
“Went there for Restaurant week. My first and best French Restaurant for this Denver Native. I highly recommend the French onion soup, mussels with white wine sauce, Beef Broganies, Trout Almonde (sp?) and Creme Brule for dessert. It won't disappoint.“
“So excited this wonderful restaurant is finally open! My friend and I stopped in for some appetizer bites and a cocktail. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful; he offered excellent suggestions and seemed very knowledgeable about the menu. We each tried a cocktail (small portion for $18-22 but the presentation was cool) and split the potatoes, beets, and French onion soup (probably one of the best versions I've ever had). The main attraction is inarguably the pristine forest setting inside; as someone who LOVES trees, this brought such a peaceful and blissful experience to the interior space for me. The bathroom itself was a lovely touch. I'd love to come back for a special occasion. :)“
“Food great. Service…not so much. We can’t believe that a server at an establishment like this, could be so incredibly disengaged and uninterested in what her customers needs/desires were. This is after a complete screwup by not bringing my wife’s salad, colliding our entrees with her ridiculously late salad, to having her steak not close to what she preferred and having the salad and steak comped. What we had tasted fantastic but if this is the level of service anyone can expect, skip this place“
“Service is solid and atmosphere is spacious and not over crowded. Cocktails were great. Food is in-line with current ratings — not a local phenomenon but lots of potential. At times, the dishes were over-simplified or diverged from traditions for the sake of uniqueness. That said, it is a delicious experience for Denver and I look forward to seeing how it evolves over time.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free“
“You just don’t have bad meals and experiences at Brasserie Brixton. Service is attentive, but not over bearing. Drinks are strong, wine list is fun. Food comes out fast, but not too fast and is absolutely amazing from the smalls (caviar, baguette, burrata are a love language) to the shareable bigs (salmon, steak, burger are our go-go’s). And the vibes are perfectly neighborly.“
“This new branch of the beloved DTC restaurant executes exceptionally well on classic French dishes like Salad Nicoise and Moules Frites with a nice wine list to match. Ambiance is more upscale and evening oriented than DTC. With protein entrees in high 30s and 40s, be prepared to spend some money. Maybe not the I-don't-feel-like-cooking tonight spot we in the neighborhood hoped for. Yet with style and food that far outclasses others in 9&Co, definitely worth a planned outing now and then.“
“Really enjoyed this place! The service here was excellent! Fun vibe, tasty little bites and delicious drinks. I know it may seem strange since it’s a wine bar, but the espresso martini here was one of the best that I’ve ever had. I’ll be back!“
“phenomenal food and flavors experienced tonight along with an upbeat mix of music that I guarantee you'll be bobbing your head along with.. everything from esoterra produce to uni tostada to the bomb pork belly and curry lobster pasta. ON POINT, ya'll“
“We went here for Easter brunch. Food was amazing, services was so kind. We accidentally left our take home bag in the booth and our waiter walked outside to find us to be sure we wouldn’t miss out. I took a look at the wine list and while we didn’t partake at brunch, can’t wait to go back for dinner!“
“I have visited Le Central DTC several times and find it exceptional, always. With an incoming snow storm, I was able to easily switch my reservation with help from the staff. Once we arrived, Tara was working the bar and the dining room. She did so adeptly. Our service was fantastic, without an empty glass or momentary lack of options for next course. We had the curry cauliflower and salmon, both of which were perfectly cooked and seasoned. As usual, a wonderful dining experience!“
“Our waiter, who's from Detroit, was knowledgeable and fun. And his recommendations were spot on. The crab cake and chicken liver mousse appetizers were outstanding. And, our mains were like the best homemade short rib and meaty ragu. We're from Wisconsin but visit our son in Denver a few times a year. We eat out often here. We will eat at Coohills again when we return. We look forward to trying new foods as the chefs change up their menu.“
“I ordered the burger francais to go since I had a pretty short layover. The waitstaff were nice, but when I finally opened up the box to eat the burger on the plane, it was the wrong one (they gave me the classic instead, so no nice cheese, mushrooms, or fancy onions for me, even though I paid for that one. Bummer.) The classic was still good, just not what I ordered. Oh well. Next time?“
“This place has all the charm of a neighborhood diner and the food to match. We split a French onion soup and a seafood crepe. The soup was so delicious we almost spilled it trying to eat it so fast. They also brought out the crepe already split so there was no hassle. We ate every bite and can't wait to come back for a sweet treat!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Saw several patrons with accessibility issues easily able to sit and enjoy their meal.“
“Fantastic food with Greek pop up menu, great drinks, atmosphere, and service. Abby provided the best service I've had in a restaurant ever. She was helpful with unique pairing recommendations and was transparent and helpful in all ways she could be. Thanks for making our night wonderful!“
“Excellent first time dining there even though we have lived in the neighborhood for years. John does a great job, the portions are generous and the menu very thoughtful and creative. Plus the crispy skin on the duck confit was spectacular! Highly recommend.“
