“Great staff, food, and atmosphere. If you’re stuck on a decision the servers really know their menu and are quick to help! Personal favorites include the batata vada pav sliders, chow chow, and Rogan Josh. You can’t go wrong with any of it!“

“This place is amazing and I would recommend to all who love poke and want to support a small local business. The brothers who own the shop are running the FOH (front of house), engaging with their guest, explaining how and where they source their ingredients, and sharing their passion behind what they do. They were super friendly, had great recommendations, and it made me appreciate each bite all the more because I knew the ingredients were mostly locally sourced and quality foods. The mix of the flavors was so good and it was the perfect amount of food, not leaving me hungry or grossly full. Go here if you want a unique, quality, local experience with delicious poke.“
“I’m obsessed with this coffee shop. The sausage biscuit is fantastic. Its gluten free, but I didn’t even realize it until after. The blueberry soda is also one of my new favorite drinks. Oh, and those donut holes were delectable! The people are nice and helpful too. We went three mornings in a row once we discovered it. We don’t live in Denver, so I bought the biscuit mix to make some at home. I’m sure it won’t turn out the same, but hopefully will be close. Can’t wait to come back on our next trip!“
“Food is always delicious and innovated with flavor and style. Familiar favorites with a twist! Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Very gluten-free friendly!Brunch or dinner, this place is great to meet up with friends.Patio seating available.Always very busy. Highly recommend reservations!“
“Delicious side of plantains! And this is coming from someone who usually doesn’t care for plantains/chokes down a 0.5-1.0 bites when it’s available. Delicious fresh coconut juice out of a coconut! We brought the shell home to have at the flesh with proper utensils. Lastly, delicious and generously stuffed arepas!“
“This pizza was excellent. Probably the best on the strip there that I’ve had. The bar stools were fun and the service was quick. Drink specials weren’t too bad either, so stop in for the happy hour. Would pop in again next time I’m passing through Denver.“
“Came in the other day to do some school work. It took a bit to get through the line, but the baristas were extremely friendly and welcoming. The iced latte with hazelnut was delicious, as was the ham croissant. The natural lighting in the room was perfect. And using headphones to dampen the sounds was just right. Will definitely have to come back.“
“I guess this place is on an unaired episode of drive in's, diners, and dives and it needs to air! This place has a brisket pizza that is incredible! Houston foodie who had an excellent time in denver at this place. Fantastic eats and great beer. ❤“
“Wonderful small brunch restaurant with plenty of new and old flavors. Breakfast and coffee was delicious, especially the hibiscus latte.Parking: You may need to park a block away to access this restaurant as it has almost no street or otherwise parking near the restaurant.“
“They were extremely good! The fries here are good enough ketchup isn't nessescary, the sliders are like heaven and the staff were extremely patient and helpful esp. when the happy hour sliders didn't have the discpunt yet. I can see why it's reviewed do highly.“
“Visiting the vibrant Denver market was an experience to remember. The moment I stepped into the bustling Denver Central Market, I was greeted by an array of scents and sounds that promised a feast for the senses. With its eclectic mix of vendors, the market is a food lover's paradise, offering everything from handcrafted chocolates and artisan cheeses to fresh seafood and meats. One of the highlights of my visit was stopping by Izzio's Bakery. The bakery is a gem nestled within the market, known for its artisan breads and pastries. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the sweet aroma of freshly baked goods wafting through the air. I decided to indulge in a cinnamon roll from Izzio's, and it did not disappoint. The pastry was perfectly baked, with a soft, fluffy interior and a golden-brown exterior that was just the right amount of crispy. The cinnamon was not overpowering but instead added a subtle spice that complemented the sweetness of the roll. The bakery also offered a selection of beautifully crafted desserts. Although I didn't try them all, the display was enough to tell me that each item was made with care and attention to detail. The reviews I had read mentioned high-quality desserts and a good selection, though some noted the prices could be on the higher side¹. However, from what I tasted, it was worth every penny.Overall, my visit to the Denver market and Izzio's Bakery was delightful. It's a place where quality, variety, and atmosphere come together to create a memorable experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend taking the time to explore this culinary haven. And when you do, make sure to treat yourself to something from Izzio's Bakery – you won't regret it.“
“Just had G's Gyro and the Creme Brulee Cheesecake as one of the specials that Uptown & Humboldt had to offer today and they were FANTASTIC. Delicious meal for a fair price and great people serving it. If you haven't, you need to meet the owners Gio and Hayden. They work hard and put out great food. Definitely coming back for more. Thanks for the meal!“
“I don't remember who served me but he was a homie and accidentally brought me 2 glasses of diet coke and didn't charge for it. Which I guess is kind of like a refill but ahead of time. What an absolute lad, 5 stars would eat a vile amount of mollusks here again.“
“I should have taken pictures but the food was yummy and I was hungry. I had the grilled pork bánh mì. DELICIOUSNESS! Baguette was crisp and soft, the pork was flavorful and the vegetables were fresh. Just enough spice. Had the Thai tea to wash it down. Lunch is done. I will return.“
“I'm in town from Oregon and I rode the bus for like an hour to eat lunch here by myself. No regrets. The atmosphere: unmatched. Folks were playing songs on the juke box that got me hype for a concert I'm seeing tomorrow, and the bartender's playlist was super dope too. The food: unreal. I got the poodle bites and idk if I was expecting like more of a hush puppy with a little bit of ground meat inside, but that first bite of pure cornmeal-fried sausage absolutely took me out. You must get these. The Gwarled cheese was really good too, you gotta put the pickles on it for some bite cause it's rich. Pork belly was a tad dry for me. The sweet tots were the best I've ever had (and I come from the state that invented tater tots!) The service: awesome. Food came quick, I didn't get drinks but other folks were getting them immediately and cheerfully. Go here and tip well!“
“Best wood fired neapolitan style pizza in town! Fresh high-quality ingredients, great flavor combinations. So excited we can get delivery for lazy stay-in nights, though we do love the patio ambiance especially summer afternoons.p.s. The beet salad is amazing.Vegetarian options: Beet salad, veggie pizza, garden pizza, wild mushroom pizza, pesto cream pasta“
“A review from a French guest I brought:I liked everything : the food, the service, the decoration and even more the bread !I’m French and the food it’s absolutely worth it. Also the details and the decoration of this restaurant/bakery are just amazing.“

“Root Down was the perfect layover stop for this recent vegan. I was looking for something vegan-ish that was a little heavier than breakfast since I hadn't eaten before my first flight. I Googled "vegan restaurant in the Denver Airport" and found Root Down. The person who greeted me was great giving me all of the possibilities for vegans. She mentioned their plant based burger was made in-house with broccoli and other veggies. That sparked my interest. So I ordered it along with sweet potato fries. Let me just say the burger was absolutely DELICIOUS! Best plant based burger I have ever had... literally. I could tell the ingredients in the burger were fresh. The sweet potato fries were good as well. They were waffled and served in a cute standing dish. My waitress was very nice and attentive. Root Down has lots of seating, even tables for one with space to put your luggage so you can keep an eye on it. While the atmosphere is very interesting and eye catching with decor here and there and great views of the planes outside, Root Down is handicap accessible. Root Down is worth a try if you happen to have a layover in Denver.Vegetarian options: There are a handful of vegetarian options.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that goes through the restaurant from the entrance.“
“Indian fast food with a twist, very clean & hip with healthy options reasonably priced yet super tasty. Must try their heavenly Butter Naan. Marshall ,the owner/chef & host has stayed open through pandemic, he is a fighter and this is a true American success story.“
“Whenever we’re going through Denver we make sure to go to Himalayan Spice - just a few blocks off of I70, easy on and off. They clearly use high quality ingredients and everything we’ve ordered has been excellent. Also very good customer service. Best Indian food I’ve had. Very highly recommended.“
“My boyfriend and I came in on Saturday night at around 7:00 PM and had the best time, our server Madi V. was amazing! She was so kind, welcoming, and efficient, and went above and beyond to make sure we always had everything we needed even though it was clearly a busy night. I would come back any time for the good sushi and great service.“
“This place is a gem. The staff is friendly and answered questions about the menu. I ordered the smoked chicken which was juicy and extremely tender. The amount of sweet potato fries served with my meal was large and the creamed corn was delicious. The food is nicely seasoned and the sauces are good. It's a place I look forward to returning to.“
“The food here is absolutely fantastic, with service to match. Our waiter, Brian, was friendly and provided excellent recommendations. The arancini, pancetta, chicken gnocchi were all fantastic. They have the best risotto I’ve ever tasted. Definitely recommend!“
“Came here today to check out the coffee and ciders! Such a chill atmosphere and the service was great! I had an iced caramel latte with almond milk (thank you for lots of different types of "milks" for people do don't dairy!) My husband had a dandelion cider and it was awesome!!! While we were there we found out they do bingo on Tuesdays, trivia on Thursday and they have a food truck and you can bring your well-behaved dogs! Yay! We can't wait to go back!“
“The best sports bar near where I grew up in the north side of Denver, Colorado!! They have amazing beer selections, always have any kind of sports on, and their bar food is not some clique sports bar menu, they have high quality items that stick out the front page. Always come back when I go home. Oh and the service, just Fantastic!!“
“Absolutely wonderful experience here! Food was great, but service was the best part. Mark Y, was so amazing- he was kind, attentive, and provided great recommendations. The cheesecake was to die for, I would come back just for that. Hostesses and managers were great as well.“
“On our many visits we usually have one French sandwich. Always excellent and we like the guys! Today the online system said “not available.” When I picked up lunch I asked and was told “oh, we have it, that’s just a problem with the internet “!No big deal, but imagine the difference if someone said”, have you got 5 minutes and I’ll make you what you wanted”? Just sayin!“
“Amazing brunch experience! Came here directly after a 4 hour flight and instantly fell in love. The staff is super sweet and friendly, the food is incredible and full of original ideas. My group liked it so much, we went out of our way to come here again on our way back to the airport on this trip. Please please please come to Reston, Virginia!!“
“We went in for a date night. Inside the restaurant, the seating options were kind of slim but we noticed that there was outdoor seating in a semi enclosed patio with a Tv so we opted to sit there. The patio was not heated but it was still a good experience. You can rent out the patio and I think that would be perfect for a small get together; there are window flaps and several tables that can be used. They do not have a bar but do sell some bottled wine and canned seltzers, however, beware as they are very expensive. Our Detroit style hot honey pizza did not have any notable honey flavor, but we did enjoy the whipped cheese on top. The sauces (Buffalo and honey mustard) were also really good.“
“A review with my full thoughts would be far too long. This place is amazing — the food, the staff, the location. All of it. I used to live in Denver and moved away a couple years ago, but try to make it a point to pop in for some donut holes my trips back. I came back two years after moving away and the owner not only remembered me, but remembered my wife’s favorite flavor of donut hole. The amount of care the entire staff puts into this establishment is undoubtedly displayed in every visit.“
“This lil neighborhood eatery has become a regular place to visit. Always delicious, servers are always on it, and it's always full of happy foodies. It's a nice place place just to hang out for a drink, have a taco.. it's a must try if you're ever in the area.“
“Just right pizza if you like hand tossed. A nice little bit of spice in the sauce, good toppings and cheese. Wash down with good bevs and you have a great comboCozy joint on the small side but they make it work. Friendly staff and good food make it worth coming back to“
“Very delicious coffee and their staff are consistently kind. This is my favorite coffee shop in Denver to destress and heal. When you have a time to sit down for a cup of coffee, I strongly recommend letting them know to order for here in their coffee cup rather than disposable paper cup for better experience including the beautiful latte art, mini biscotti, and better taste!“
“Petunia is a neighborhood favorite with bakery classics, some made with a Mexican twist (spotlight on Birria croissant)! There’s a really delightful spread, everything from macarons and birthday cake to hearty sandwiches and Chilaquiles. It hits the spot and I hope the shop can continue to grow roots and become a local staple.“
“Drove out of our way to try Ben’s while passing through Denver. We ordered online. Pickup was fast and easy. Food fresh, tasty and ample. Restaurant appears to be a ghost kitchen. Somehow my teens knew about that concept. Interesting and not a problem. The chocolate cashew pudding was not as creamy as dairy pudding, but a good option for those avoiding dairy.“
“Best Vegan Pho in Denver! I have tried several places on Federal and this one beats them all with flavor. the tropical iced tea is super sweet and delicious just like they make it in the south!Vegetarian options: Vegan Pho by request with a vegetarian section on the menu“
“My sister in law and brother in law both have Celiac disease and it’s always a bummer that they have to miss out on bread. We first had Deby’s bread at the Melting Pot in Littleton and my entire family was amazed at how good it was. We recently moved to Georgia and the Melting Pot here carried a different bread that wasn’t as good. I messaged the Melting Pot in Littleton and asked what bread they carried, and they told me it was Deby’s. I contacted them about having some bread shipped to me and someone got back to me right away. They shipped my order the next day and it arrived 2 days later. This bread really is amazing. I heated one of the dinner rolls for 10 seconds in the microwave and put some butter just to taste test, and it was incredible. I’m so excited to serve this on Christmas!“
“My family and friends love this place! Everything on the menu is excellent! The brisket hash is a family favorite. You will have to wait if you go on the weekends, but I assure you, the wait is worth it. You will want to go back iver and over to work your way through the menu. It is that good!“
“The vibe in here is so homey and beautiful! The food was amazing and quick. You order at the counter and pick a table inside or outside. We came in the snow and the corner booth was a perfect spot to enjoy this delicious meal! Can't wait to go back and try more. Really great coffee!!!“
“I LOVE THIS PLACE! Great spot!!! All things gluten-free! Fried chicken tacos, GF... Amazing! Deviled eggs are delicious! Lobster Mac & Cheese did not disappoint!Friendly staff. Easy to find, lots of street parking available. Large patio available.Interior is beautifully decorated!“
“Love Ike’s Love & Sandwiches. They offer a ton of great sandwiches, so if you're at a loss—try one of the favorites❤️. You should always get your sandwich dirty, their delicious garlic aioli, and the Dutch Crunch bread. The employees are always awesome as well and ever helpful. Only been twice, but already obsessed, and a clear favorite is #111, the Menage A Trois with Halal chicken, honey mustard, BBQ sauce, honey, Pepper Jack, Swiss, and Cheddar. Feb 2024Vegetarian options: Probably over 1/3 of their sandwiches are vegetarian.“
“What can be said that already hasn’t? Food is amazing and our server was literally THE BEST. Gave us a sample to try something we were asking about which was a nice touch.FYI if looking for Denver Biscuits - it’s part of Atomic Cowboy. I heard several people in the parking lot asking where it was.“
“I was there this past Saturday and absolutely loved the place, service and food. You not only have their menu but also the famous Adelitas menu, they shared the kitchen. We had the Tlayuda (Oaxaca dish) and Chile Colorado, it was so tasty, going back “
“City O' City - oh how I wish you were closer to Fort Collins! We travel into Denver once and a while and when we do, we always have to make a stop at this place as the food is always amazing! We've gotten a few plates but our favorites are the adobo tacos and buffalo seitan wings (hope you have an appetite - plate can serve two!). As for dessert, my oh my - the peanut butter ice cream is the way to go. It brings chunks of peanut butter cups that bring you back to life after a great meal - don't skip it!Highly recommend this place for vegan dining in Capitol Hill. Also, will recommend sitting at the bar - service is quicker and there's always a spot!“
“This place is a DREAM!!! Such fun decor and people, amazing performance space, delicious food and drinks with so many options and accomodations. It really feels like a rare local gem that is disappearing in most cities. Denver is lucky to have Ophelia's!“
“Under the Umbrella Cafe is one of my favorite neighborhood go-to places. Today, I had enough time before my commute to stop for a grab & go breakfast burrito/latte. They were so quick with my order that I ended up being earlier to work than expected, even though there was line in front of me. Not only to do I love this place for a quick weekday/weekend grab & go, but it's so good I take my guests & visitors here before a day at the museum or a hike. Their coffee & matcha are always delicious. Their eggs are so fluffy! As a vegetarian, I love the Sharon breakfast sando & the veggie breakfast burrito. The almond poppy seed muffin is another go-to! I'd give this place another star if I could. <3“
“Jax offered a decent meal experience albeit pricey. Staff was all very welcoming and friendly. While the bar area had ample staffing there seemed to be only two servers and one assistant for the entire restaurant which made interaction with the server almost non existent. That stated the overwhelmed server we had was friendly the few times we saw her and was doing the best she could. The food was decent but they love their spices and the MauiMaui was served with a paste that had a nip to it that was a bit much for my taste. The bread, served in a butter oil type sauce, was very good but again the sauce was strongly spiced. The chocolate oil cake and Ceaser salad were average. On the flip side the crab cake was excellent with chunks of crab. My wife enjoyed her salmon dish. The atmosphere was a bit loud and the air was set colder than it needed to be. Overall while I was glad to have tried Jax I'm not sure I'd go back as it did not seem up to the very high prices they have. For the prices I had hoped for a higher level experience. A better experience can be found elsewhere at more reasonable prices.“
“I have only been living in Colorado for 5 months, but this was the best experience I have had going out. The staff was amazing, engaging, and beyond friendly. The food was top-notch, and the atmosphere was fun. I will definitely be going back...again and again. ❤️“
