“We love Kobe An and have been patrons going back 30 years since they were in Lakewood. Marco has done an amazing job with the new -er location and his staff is well trained. His newer sushi chefs are doing a fantastic job which leaves him free to focus more on the front of the house. We told him tonight that the sushi is the best it’s been in the 30 years we’ve been going to his restaurants. The hamachi and mussels were outstanding, as were the rolls and cocktails. The new Kobe An is the real deal.“

“Best sushi I’ve ever had. We were traveling from out of state & the only thing I have to complain about is there aren’t any locations outside of Denver, ruined all other sushi for me. Can’t wait to come back.“

“Best sushi place in Denver!! Get the sake toro, blue fin toro, and Den Roll and then come back and like this review!
The servers are consistently great. The atmosphere is nice and new. Just an all around awesome spot in a low key area of Denver that doesn’t have the acclaim of Sushi Den and other popular spots but will soon.“

“We went for bowls of Ramen to ease our holiday coughs and make the colder weather easier. Excellent ramen, both regular and spicy tonkatsu. Broth, noodles, pork belly were everything we wanted. Home made gyoza worth the order. We'll be back.“

“The food was an array of quality. The beef tartare was insanely delicious. I wish I had more
The nigiri offered felt over priced. I'm not sure if some of the offerings were what brought it up, but some cuts tasted amazing, some just felt like run of the mill. This wouldn't have been an issue if the "market price" wasn't so high. I'd love to have seen a breakdown. The nigiri pricing seemed way higher from other, less bougie feeling, sushi spots around and I didn't feel like each piece reflected that with the flavor.
Also $8 for Asahi beer. Had to have been something about the price of brick and mortar lol. $8 is a tall boy elsewhere
As others have stated. Service is extremely slow. My partner and I waited probably 20 minutes after we got drinks for someone to come by. They tried taking our order as soon as we were seated and then didn't come by again until 20 minutes later.
The atmosphere... It was nice. It was moody and modern and I felt like it was a good date environment and place to dress up. There's two different sides. The front of the restaurant is bright and casual and the back, where I sat, was modern and had some clubby beats and music playing.
Not a place I'd go often but the tartare has me not eliminating it from a revisit“

“Loved this!! My first time in, our waiter was so helpful and guided along a delicious adventure. We started with the cucumber salad SO GOOD. Then we got the spicy gyoza, loved the sauce!!! For dinner we split a bowl of ramen and some sushi. Everything was so delicious and only $42. I will be coming back“

“TOKIO is an absolute gem in Denver! I came for the ramen but also loved their sushi! (Monday is $2 salmon night). The ramen menu is stacked with delicious options, my pick was the spicy shoyu, rich and comforting with perfect chashu pork. I also tried the Kyoto Matcha IPA, which was super unique and surprisingly refreshing. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere, and great specials like sea eel and sea urchin. Definitely worth a visit if you're into ramen or want to test your competitive eating skills! (Check out their 5.5lb challenge!)“

“Obento is consistently one of the best places for lunch in Denver. Their bento boxes are always piping hot and have a nice mix of an entree, salad, and usually two sides that can vary. It’s always flavorful, fast and affordable, making it one of my go-to lunch spots. I also love their boba teas—they’re a nice size for the price. Highly recommend!“

“Sukiya Ramen is a consistent 5/5.
My usual order is a build your own ramen.
Tonkatsu broth, thin noodles, chicken, crispy onions, crispy garlic, green onions, bean sprouts, and an order of extra noodles.
Consistently delicious every time!“
