“We love Kobe An and have been patrons going back 30 years since they were in Lakewood. Marco has done an amazing job with the new -er location and his staff is well trained. His newer sushi chefs are doing a fantastic job which leaves him free to focus more on the front of the house. We told him tonight that the sushi is the best it’s been in the 30 years we’ve been going to his restaurants. The hamachi and mussels were outstanding, as were the rolls and cocktails. The new Kobe An is the real deal.“

“Best sushi I’ve ever had. We were traveling from out of state & the only thing I have to complain about is there aren’t any locations outside of Denver, ruined all other sushi for me. Can’t wait to come back.“

“10/10 experience. I was speechless! Every single thing we ordered was phenomenal and incredibly fresh. Best nigiri I’ve had in Denver. The rolls were also high quality and delicious. Our waiters were very kind and attentive. I can’t wait to go back.“

“I must admit, I’m surprised to say this, but this restaurant in Denver is my favorite. Occasionally, I prefer place that are one-of-a kind locations, but I’m consistently impressed with how well they manage their business and provide the best hospitality in Denver. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive to detail, making you feel welcome and valued. They have several locations, and they consistently deliver the most delightful service. It’s an incredible place to celebrate with friends or my favorite date night spot. The HH prices are also incredibly reasonable for the quality of food and drinks.“

“I was in the parking lot and starving! Didn’t want ramen since it was so hot, so I went with a curry chicken bowl instead. It really hit the spot! The bowl had fried chicken, curry, and pickled radish—totally unexpected but awesome. The server was great, and since the place only had about three tables inside, I managed to beat the lunch rush. The ambiance was fantastic—small and intimate, kind of like being in Japan!“

“We went for bowls of Ramen to ease our holiday coughs and make the colder weather easier. Excellent ramen, both regular and spicy tonkatsu. Broth, noodles, pork belly were everything we wanted. Home made gyoza worth the order. We'll be back.“

“I am addicted to this place. I am in love with their Shoyu ramen with soft boiled egg and their vegetable tempura. There are many options for other ramen as well as other Japanese dishes and sushi. It's small but cozy. I just love it!“

“We had a lovely meal here on a Friday evening. My Mom was in town and lives in a rural area that lacks good Japanese so this was a real treat for her. The food was 5/5. Impeccable & expertly prepared with thought and passion which translated directly into the quality of the food and each bite was truly special or of exceptional quality, the atmosphere is a neat and aesthetically pleasing marriage of Japanese tea house and a trendy club in Barcelona. Unfortunately our server was incredibly quiet. No one at the table could hear or understand her, We asked her to speak up and repeat things multiple times but she only seemed to grow more quiet until we started having a debate at the table about if she was playing a joke on us or if it was intentional. Luckily the rest of the staff were buzzing around us like busy bees and seemed really well informed and were able to give us detailed descriptions of what we had been served, since we couldn't hear our server and the rest of the staff was kind enough to speak in audible tones.“

“This must be one of my favorite sushi restaurants in Denver. The service is great, the food consistently fantastic, and the prices are not bad at all for sushi. 10/10 recommend, this is my gf’s and I’s favorite spot even tho we live much closer to other places on S. Broadway. Taki is worth the detour!“

“This review is mainly about the tonkotsu ramen. It’s absolutely sub-par and unacceptable. They charged me a $1.50 to add half an egg that wasn’t even soft boiled (it was hard boiled). The broth was flavorless and not thick or creamy enough. It only comes with some bok choy and pickled ginger with 3 measly thin pieces of chashu pork. It should be a $10 bowl of ramen MAX. I paid almost $20. Love this places sushi but there’s way too many better ramen places in the area. It would cost them almost nothing to upgrade their ramen considering it uses the simplest and most available ingredients which just shows a conplete lack of care. However their sushi is great and would recommend it over many sushi places in the area.“

“Ordered a handful of different rolls for dinner. Fish tasted pretty fresh, rolls were a good size.
We personally didn’t like the Hawaiian roll— the flavors were kind of overwhelming & the pieces of fish felt too large for a single bite. It was probably just personal preference as there was nothing wrong with the roll!“

“Really enjoyed this place! Haven't found a bento place anywhere else in Denver thus far. Pricing was reasonable for the amount of food in the bento, holy moly. Tofu teriyaki was delicious and came with tasty salad, a spring roll, and some kind of delicious tofu skin with rice and avocado. Plus edamame. I would come back again. Food came out quickly.“

“Nice quiet lunch, with simple homemade tasting food. If I had a Japanese grandmother id imagine this is what the experience would be like. There’s a whole lot of really fancy good food nearby so it’s likely I would not return. Still worth a visit if you’re craving simple tasty Japanese food.“
