I ate at Las Delicias regularly, starting in 1987. I'm so happy when I get the chance to visit again, like seeing an old friend.Three of us went for dinner, excited.The neighborhood is very different, more vibrant, and expensive.The building has been through many transformations. I hadn't been here in 24+ years since moving to Pueblo. Food and Cristina's service definitely did not disappoint! The salsa was exactly how I remembered it to be! Although beautiful and the food/ service were amazing as always, I was a little saddened by the changes to the inside. I was expecting the old traditional Mexican restaurant as when they first opened. My family and I have been coming to Las Delicias since the late 70s when it just had the corner shop, a few tables, and a pass-thru window from the kitchen to the dining ton for the food.It is one of the oldest, still operating, Mexican restaurants in Denver. And its food continues to deliver.
