Loved the Beet Salad. My Boyfriend had a Fish dish. Looking forward to trying more of their unique Dishes. The restaurant was full, so it was a bit loud for us. But we will come again. Reservations a must.
The Denver area has been an enjoyable restaurant experience for us, and we've yet to encounter terrible service or food quality. Root Down is another one of those great experiences.Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly. My husband and I are on our healthy lifestyle change adventure. I was concerned we may not be super welcomed due to our appearance as I am overweight. I love to report that there was never a need for that concern at this location. The green chili was good, and so were the vegetarian sliders. The server was on top of it. The dining room was cramped. Went there to participate in Denver Restaurant Week, but they didn't offer it for lunch, which was tragic.
