An exquisite experience! Food, cocktails, service and ambiance (even the background playlist!) were on point. If you're searching for a fine dining experience that's worth the price tag in Durango, don't bother with Primus or Seasons — this is what you've been searching for. Cocktails are perfection (we recommend the Banana for Scale, Bye Bye American Brine, and Straight to the Core), appetizers are delightful (GET THE BURRATA), and entrees are well balanced and satisfying (we recommend the Hanger Steak and Seared Scallops). If you get Ryan as your server, you win!

I am a CO native now living in Tulsa, We came tovisit my daughter for her 21st birthday. We own 3 successful restaurants and I am pretty particular about dining experiences. I was blown away by this place! Upon entry we were greeted by a welcoming, professional host who promptly took us to our reserved table. As a nice surprise it was decorated for the event I mentioned when making the reservation. Our server Mason, greeted us, took our drink orders and described the specials of the evening in a manor that made you want to order all of them! This man was great!!! . We started with the Burrata appetizer and house made bread with a nice sprinkling of sea salt on the crust. The black garlic butter!!!! Amazing! I had the special. Wagu short ribs with a crispy rice cake, pickled cabbage, an Asian sauce that I cannot remember the description (amazing) and sesame seed and peanut crusted carrot. Others had the lobster Mac and cheese, duck 2 ways and a beet salad with chicken. Everything was incredible! Not to mention the expertly crafted cocktails. Truly one of my top 5 dining experiences ever. Kudos Eolus! We will certainly visit again next time we are in town and I recommend anyone reading this do the same.

I had not been a couple of years. Eolus has only matured better in all three categories. Our server Ryan was knowledgeable about the menu, specials, and the bar (secret) menu. We came for happy hour and the restaurant kept up such quality and eye for detail you just don’t always see going out on a Thursday night. Absolutely try this one. They’re top tier for Durango.

We left this restaurant feeling disappointed. While the service was great, the portions (especially for the price) were incredibly small. My husband left the restaurant still hungry. Additionally, I ordered a salad that was wayyy over salted. However, the service was wonderful throughout the meal.

We dined at Eolus tonight for our anniversary. We usually eat at a local steakhouse for this celebration but they were closed. We both left saying we would probably never go back to our usual spot because Eolus is definitely our new normal for special occasions. The food was absolutely wonderful but the shining star of the evening was the service. It’s unlike anything else you’ll receive in Durango… we felt so special and catered to all evening! Our waitress, Amy, was fantastic. It was also impressive that every employee in the building seemed to stop on their way by our table to have a quick little convo, check how our food/drink was, etc. Every single person we encountered was so amazing. Hostess, waiters and waitresses, bartender, etc. I can’t wait for our next celebratory dinner!

Best fine dining in the four corners area! The, “Duck Two Ways” was one of the best duck plates I’ve had in over a decade, everything on this dish compliments each other perfectly. Service was great. The seasonal butterscotch Old Fashioned cocktail was our favorite. Also! Highly recommend the pork belly & scallops appetizer.

The food here is wonderful: New American, classics with modern and seasonal twists. They have excellent sushi special appetizers, and wonderful steak and seafood main course options. Service is excellent, ambience is refined. Definitely Durango's best fine dining experience.

Place is top notch. Max and Bridget behind the bar are on point, the food was nothing short of perfection. The duck two ways is the best I’ve ever had. Go here, you won’t regret

What an absolutely wonderful experience. It was my husband and I's anniversary and they went above and beyond to make it such an amazing experience. The service was incredible, food was spectacular, and the vibe was so great. The little details like glitter on the table and making sure we could split our entrée made that entire evening one of the best we have ever had. The food was fantastic. My husband is a chef and was thoroughly impressed by the entire presentation down to the flavor. The drinks were wonderful! I haven't had an old fashioned I have enjoyed in SO LONG. It is so hard to find somewhere that makes them right and it was amazing. The server we had was so kind, thoughtful, and made sure we felt looked after and knew exactly how to describe each special in a way that made us question what food to even order since it all sounded so good! What a great experience. Thank you for making our night so so special.

We were advised to visit Eolus by our Jeep tour guides. All three of the gentlemen told us we needed to go to try their Lobster hamburger & black Manhattan. Unfortunately, they were not serving the hamburger that day, but my husband did try the Black Manhattan and it did not disappoint. The entire staff was extraordinary from the moment we walked in to when we walked out. They even hold the door for customers when they leave!Definitely will go back if we visit from Chicago again!

Eolus is always a fantastic dining experience. The menu has changed each time I've been there, but on my recent visit I had the daily special of cream of mushroom soup, lamb lollipops, venison, black cod, and palisade peach custard with biscotti. Everything was seasoned perfectly and perfectly portioned. The wait staff is wonderful and can make recommendations based on what you would like. I highly recommend eating here if you're in Durango.

Excellent dishes! We really enjoyed our mains. The grilled hanger steak was cooked to perfection and perfectly complimented with excellent sides. Although the side portions were on the smaller side, I still left full/satisfied. Truly perfect combination of flavors.

This restaurant is by far, the best in Durango. James runs the front of the house like a well oiled machine. Service is excellent and knowledgeable, and have had some of the best sushi ever from this restaurant, and I have traveled throughout California, Texas and Massachusetts. Appetizers excel here, as well as their cocktails. I have been coming here for several years, and it is consistently excellent. Thank you for providing us such a wonderful dining experience.

Excellent food, excellent wine, excellent service, excellent atmosphere! This is casual, fine-dining at its best! The service approached Michelin star levels- the staff was so attentive and we never had to wait or want for anything. The food was beautifully prepared, plated and delicious! This is such a welcome change from other dining in Durango, where quantity exceeds quality. If you want huge portions like in other American restaurants, don't go here. If you want expertly prepared food that leaves room for an appetizer, dessert and a digestif and leaves you in awe at the end of the evening, you won't be disappointed!
