“I LOVE vital root. I work in the area and my boss and I have our meetings here. I have never been disappointed with the food. It's allergy friendly and everything can easily be made vegan. They can accommodate for a lot of different diets without sacrificing flavor and texture. The cashews queso is unparalleled. Its better than most real queso I have had. The falafel wrap is my go to for something healthy and filling. They have a gorgeous small back patio that is shaded, great for summer and the front patio has direct sun the rest of the year. I will always recommend this place to people touring the neighborhood.Update: they recently added a "chicken" and dosa waffle that you MUST try. Run, don't walk it is to die for!Update Update: they have changed a lot on their menu and all of it is still FIRE. They got rid of the only thing I hated (the sprout head sandwich) and from what I can tell they have better less dry gf bread. The root vegetable Reuben is so good and filling but because it's carby vegetables instead of meat it does leave you hungry in about two hours but still worth it imoSad update: they got rid of their hemp cocao cookies in favor of FAR inferior choc chip cookies. “Been going to my fit foods since October 2022. Absolutely love the food and choices available. Both my husband and I have lost a significant amount of weight and even our kids love the meals! Believe it or not we are saving money buying meals for our family of 4! Between the grocery store and DoorDash we were spending an insane amount. No only have we got our health back and under control, we’re gaining more time with our kids because we don’t have to cook anymore. We’re showing our kids a healthy and nutritious way to eat followed by physical activity.Everyone who works at my fit foods is incredibly nice and are always there to help with the in body machines and they help calculate where you need to be protein and calorie wise. I don’t mind the drive to Greenwood Village each week but if there was a location up north that would be even cooler ??“
“Came here for the first time ever yesterday, I ordered a smoothie and asked for a spoon as I just had mouth surgery and can’t use a straw / barely can eat. The guy at the counter offered to make it a little more liquid for me trying to make it easier for me to eat / drink, I did not even have to ask. He did an amazing job as it tasted amazing and was very easy for me to drink and which really helps me get my nutrition needs in a difficult time! I recommend this place to everyone.“

I also tried a protein shake (Mint Chocolate) even though I'm not usually a fan of protein shakes, but I needed something quick. The server was super friendly & knowledgeable and helped me pick out something I'd like. The drinks were SO SATISFYING! I specifically go for the spinach wrap as it adds a fun twist to your meal. The service is essentially always on point and customizing your meal is a breeze. Overall the food quality is satisfactory. I believe you might be able to find something you like if you customize it to your liking.“

Both were a great portion and had great flavor! Getting takeout was somewhat of a challenge as we had to find parking at the mall and there were no close spots available.
