The stellar service is the main winner here. The food is mostly fried and greasy- best eaten when you just don't have the energy to make a meal after a hard day. The sandwich bread is great. Some recipes have changed recently, for the better! I am particularly fond of their jalapeño poppers and their fried pickles, but there's really no wrong answer here. In the past they've also sent out coupons for free deep-fried oreos.
The best part of my experience was the burger. "The Classic" is a 2-patty all-American cheeseburger. (Combo meal, $14.) But even though I really like salt (it's fat free!), the patties were too salty for me. Speaking of salt, does Fat Shack know there are other seasonings for fries? My SUPER salty fries seemed to have no other seasoning.
