“Great bar burgers and typical local bar atmosphere.Staff is very friendly. We had the green chili burger, bacon burger, fries and onion rings. Patties were seared nicely and had lots of flavor. The onion rings are delicious, but a little skimpy on the serving sine it’s a $3 up charge from the fries which have a very good seasoning. The green chilis are slightly spicy for one of us and just right for the other. All in all, I would gladly eat here when I want a great burger.”
“I ordered a cheeseburger to go. It was actually pretty good however for the price, I would have expected it to have lettuce, tomato, & onion instead of just the 3 lonely pickle slices. I was really craving a burger, but probably won't eat there again for that reason.”
“Cute little coffee shop in Cripple Creek. A good selection with local flair. About one dozen types of bakery. The menu looked good and seemed to have gluten free accommodations but didn't get a chance to order food.”
“Liz always hooks it up at Doc's! Don't be deterred that this is a food truck. There are benches outside, and this is some of the best food you can find in Cripple Creek. Better burgers than any casino or sit-down restaurant in miles! AMAZING value as well!”
“This is easily one of my new favorite places to eat in Cripple Creek! Super good Bison burgers and string fries, but lots of other choices that look good, too. This is a small, Veteran owned, operated, and staffed restaurant. 2 floors, 2 bars for overflow, and a good-sized private room are available. The decor exudes old Colorado. Might even be haunted. :-) I leave that to you.”
“We live 10 minutes from Cripple Creek and usually don't eat at any of the casinos unless a friend comes up, because the Mexican restaurant that we go to was closed, we chose to go here instead. Was not disappointed at all, food was very good!Prices are on the high side because it's mountain prices and in the casino, we spent over $100 on just food, no alcohol for three people. Add drinks, $150-200.The food was on point and portions are on point too.Vegetarian options: Yes grazers, they have salad. And they are very good as well.Dietary restrictions: Cheat day approved.Parking: If you can't find parking, you're not looking.Kid-friendliness: Check the menu, kids have their own section.Wheelchair accessibility: You can roll right in and hit the elevator to roll right up.”
“The service staff are always top notch and respectful here. I had a caprice chicken sandwich with fries and raspberry ice tea today and it was the best I've had in Cripple Creek. It was delicious and well worth buying. Great experience.”
“This restaurant is located within the casino on the LL level. We went on a Saturday after visiting the ice castles when they were having a special deal ($15) on the prime rib. The mashed potatoes were amazing! The prime rib was a bit salty but a great deal for the price. We had the dumplings appetizer which was also great. Overall this place is a great deal with cheap but filling food. Recommend if you’re visiting Cripple Creek on a day trip.”
“I brought 5 children here after the ice castles. They were wet, cold, and hungry. The waitress was an older woman and amazing.Brought the kids menues out, got everyone hot chocolate. Was super patient with five kids ages ranging from 6 to 13.So grateful for the excellent service and patience.I wish I remember the waitresses name, but she told us about the ghost stories and a lot of cool stuff that the kids loved.”
“This hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway. All of the staff, to include random service people, who we would see in elevators, ect were so welcoming. This hotel provides superior hospitality.”
“We are so lucky to have Salt Grass as an option for restaurants in Cripple Creek now. We live in Divide and will make the trip just for this place. The service is always top notch, the food is great and fresh. Everybody is so friendly that works here, it's super refreshing! Great job, team!”
“Had one of their sandwiches (actually a half sandwich). It was great! And more than I could eat. Everything is fresh and made to order. They are also a German bakery and have a lot of fresh baked goods, fresh baked bread, and pastries. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend this place anytime you are in Victor.”
