“This Five Guys is located in the Avon Walmart Plaza, so it's easy to get in at the light and there's plenty of parking. This particular location I had no issues with - it was clean, their soda machines were working, and my burger was hot with cheese gooeing everywhere. I love a Five Guys burger, they do the cheese so well! This seems to be a popular place for Doordash and UberEats orders - many pickups were made at the same time as my meal, which caused a noticable but NOT unreasonable delay. I only wish there was a little more non-booth seating.“

Now I went in a few directions.... A single bite and your eyes widen with glee. You are nothing short of happy as you continue to chew your way through this playground of flavors that are meant for the masses. My Fat Attack did not stop there folks.... I also had their 50/50 which consists of half sweet potato fries (as my choice) and half Super Sized Onion Rings that had all types of crispiness to their own bite. Now the fries were good....Nice light Sweet and Salty vibe, they. kept you going back for more but these onion rings were made for the Champion in you! Large and in charge, crispy with a nice snap on the onions. It the batter for me that wasn't greasy but inviting. The Tso-ly Loaded Waffle fries, hit a homer and sent the rest of my appetizers to home plate and we all started to cheer within my mouth. What better way to bring about a wild and savory bite than to have some Ginger Soy coming in tangy and Chipotle Mayo barking up the right tree in way of packing a nice creamy yet spicy punch in my mouth over the crisp on that fried broccoli - TALK TO ME BABY and love me the way you do!!! I just worked you all the way up to their POT ROAST SANDWICH!! Yikes!! The easiest way to break this one down is to say, scoop your pot roast from your bowl and then slap that tasty monstrosity between two fresh buns of soft haven fun and now take a BITE!! Tender Beef, Onions with the Gravy Dripping and as you chew, a single tear drops from your eye for you've just experienced something amazing. Your soul thanks you on this one. “My family has been going since it opened almost one hundred years ago. Wow. I've been going since 1967. I live in NH now, and i have to drive 3 hrs each way ( uphill lol) to get the sauce. Worth it. “Had the privilege of eating here today. As a person who doesn’t eat out often, and loves to cook I was very impressed by this place! We went for lunch and I had the double burger with grilled veggies and my mom had the lamb gyro. They catered to my dietary needs and were very friendly. My mom said it was the best gyro she has ever had, and my burgers were so delish and cooked perfectly. I can’t wait to try their oxtail cabbage soup. I can’t recommend this place enough and hope to come back when I’m in the area.“

Some of the center post tables have been broken down for months, the tops wobble way too much because they aren’t screwed down correctly.And, this time like the last couple of times the tables aren’t at all wiped down. If it weren’t so cold out we’d have eaten out.A thin middle-aged woman and younger man were cooking and bringing the food out and trying to keep up with the trash on the tables and counters. “The last time I was in the area I drove over an hour and waited around ten minutes to be able to sit down not only because they were super busy but more importantly because I know their food is so good I would have waited another hour if I had to. The smells alone are enough to drive someone’s brainwaves and tastebuds into a pure bliss that is only obtained by the most amazing of things! The atmosphere was exactly as you would expect for around mid day on a Sunday in one of the greatest spots ever, packed full of happy people and a wait staff that is an absolute pleasure to watch operate. I swear they move like a well oiled machine only way better! I can only imagine how everything looks behind the scene and after experiencing the final products I’m left to believe it’s a display that matches the energy and precision we get to witness out front. My go to has always been a breakfast chimichanga usually with bacon and ham but they do also offer sausage as well. I can not express enough how amazing I find it and the worst part, for me at least, is someone else may think they can make one but I’ve yet to come across anyone who can even come close to the absolute magic that comes out on the plate when you order one from here. My only regret is never giving them a chance when I lived right down the road. Now I am far away and coming here is a rare treat. Don’t be like me. Go there every chance you get. “Joeys to go is my number 1 go to spot for take out in west Hartford. Staff is always friendly and service outstanding. Always get the order correctly and cooked perfectly the way I like as well. Pizza is nicely thin & crisp and the Alfredo pasta is always delicious as well. my son who is a extremely picky eater will only eat take from a very very select few places loves their chicken tenders & fries. I also enjoy the Sweet Asian wings are amazing and so is the cheese steak grinder. Would recommend to anyone who wants to try out a different spot in town for a nice to go dinner or even quick slice to go during lunch break.“

I've only dined outside on their spacious patio because the weather was great. They had the heater blasting which I requested to to be turned down because it was burning my head, other patrons agreed.I started off with a Saturday fun day glass of their Green Mind Avocado Margarita, yes, you read that right; avocado mixed into a margarita, very interesting but it worked. The drink was on the smaller side for $13 and change but it was good and I could taste the slight creaminess of the avocado. They had a good sized cocktail menu and a variety of craft beers.On this most recent visit, I had the Korean BBQ burger. OMG, juicy and flavorful; it had gochujang mayo, kimchi, onion straws, and Korean BBQ sauce. The fries were crunchy and seasoned well. I wished there were more pickled cucumber slices because those were BANGIN'. However, we ordered take out and had it delivered and they completely forgot to put the sauce for the desert we ordered in the bag. When we called they said there was nothing they can do it’s a new driver. One would think they would at least offer to deliver the sauce at some point, we don’t live far from the restaurant. or to at least come pick it up. We paid for it. So for that we won’t be ordering from here again.“

“I read some of the reviews about this spot and had to come and check it out for myself. When I entered Roma's for lunch, there was one other person at the bar and then a gentleman setting up TV's behind the bar. He came over with a Menu after taking my drink order. I decided to go with their honey bbq wings, New England clam chowder and Hawaiin Burger. The guy behind the bar was friendly and kept striking up conversation with myself and the other gentleman. My wings came out and I must say, these golden temptations weren't just slightly crisp but met my tastebuds with a sweetness about them, that when dipped into the blue cheese; only set off a powerful bite that was creamy and a bit tangy. I had fun with the rollercoaster of taste upon these wings. As for my Clam Chowder. It was chunky and had much going on. Clams came packed with a degree of seasonings that started out good but ended in a bad way for the chowder was a bit too salty. This chowder would be the perfect start to. any meal in the winter, had it not been for the saltiness of it all; taking away from what could be its own star of a chowder show. Now my fries, bliss in a bite with just the right amount of salt upon them and a crispiness to be reckoned with. Even the burger made my mouth happy with its freshness on the beef; made to order. Didn't taste like frozen pot luck beef at all. Seasoned just right and the pineapples, along with onion crisps held enough flavor to transcend this burger into the next phase of its life...The bun was toasted both inside and out, holding the components together for a nice barrage of burger bliss. The service is pretty good but the parking is not ideal. Tight spaces and the walking traffic could be potentially dangerous. Normally, the service is pretty good but last night the kid working the drive thru window with green gloves on had the personality of someone that most folks would rather not deal with.
