“Amai Sushi has the best quality fish and seafood in Brookfield! Amber, the owner is wonderful. She takes time to suggest and explain offerings. I recently had the pleasure of the 10 course Omekase. What a beautiful a scrumptious meal! A birthday treat from a dear friend. Definitely worth the splurge. Buttery sushi, delicious uni (sea urchin roe) and a small piece of highest quality Kobe beef. Great king crab and avocado appetizer and scallop hand roll. Caramel custard dessert. Delicious chilled plum wine. Worth the splurge!”

“I have been here at least a half a dozen times and the experience is excellent every time. Bartenders Jen and Marjorie are friendly and attentive. All business, yet personable when they have a moment. We have been more than often for the great happy hours. Fantastic appetizers for super prices as well as top shelf craft beers. Giant TV'S with multiple choice of sports. They were nice enough to put on an out of market baseball team for my wife. Difficult to stay away!!”

“To start with, I love the thick menu! I love that they give the back stories on the local products/farms they use. And the plethora of options make certain that both my husband and I can find something we like no matter what we're in the mood for. It's also nice to go to a restaurant that has more than the same 6 things everybody else has and to know those items are made with locally sourced products. I can end with a cupcake made from scratch which also supports another small business instead of something premade from the same manufacturer everyone sources their desserts from. It's a win for me!”

“My husband and I were passing by and saw the name and figured we would try it out. We were not disappointed. The chicken cutlet that was in my sandwich was delicious! my husband loved his steak sandwich as well. we highly recommend Froggy's Sandwiches. We just wish we lived closer.”

“This is a take-away place. However, there is a table and mis-matched chairs if you wish dine al fresco with a view of the parking lot, busy street, and a cemetery.

The food was good. The shrimp was flavorful and the hot and sour soup was chock-full of the usual ingredients.”

“My husband and I frequent many restaurants for breakfast but Red Colony is our favorite. We love omelets and Red Colony's omelets are always delicious and cooked to perfection. Our waitress Tania is always so efficient, accommodating and very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!”

“I would walk 500 miles... Well maybe not walk 500 miles. But I will drive 350 miles round trip. Just to have dinner at one of my favorite Restaurants in my old neighborhood. Congrats to Kenny and his culinary and service team. Dinner for my party of 4 was delicious. The 3 specials Short Rib Ravioli, Chicken & Sausage Paella, and the Baby Rack of Lamb. The 4th dinner was our longtime favorite Gnocchi Sorentino. Walked out bellies full and pallets completely satisfied. Oh yeah, don't forget the Fried Burrata. Anytime I'm in Brookfield I will visit Portobellos. Love this place.”

The pizza, antipasto, entrees (chicken champagne, veal francese, eggplant rolatini, penne a la vodka), and sides were delicious and plentiful. The pistachio BD cake was gorgeous and tasted out of this world! the staff was so attentive to everyone's needs and the piano player added to the festive atmosphere. “We had Mangia Mangia cater our recent rehearsal dinner - it was hands down the best food we have had in a long time. Everything was perfect- Raquel was a tremendous help and she took all the stress away from hosting a large party. I HIGHLY recommend using them for anyone looking for catering a large event. Bladimir, Joline and all the staff were very accommodating- we even called and got 10+pizzas delivered the day after the wedding too!! Huge Hit!!”
