“This is by far the best pizza place anywhere in Connecticut ANYWHERE. I have never had a pizza be this constantly good anywhere else in Connecticut which is surprising coming from a place so close to New York. The service is always great lovely people, and ambience feels as if I'm in a basement with friends eating home made pizza pie.”
“My kids and I love Boost Bowls! It’s always delicious and fresh! The Oatella smoothie, Berry Salad, avocado toast and wraps are just some of my favorites! Such a great menu and place!”
“I'm an old Buddhist practitioner, so if I go into a place and Tibetan monks are eating there it's like being home!Wonderful wonderful food..they even made me traditional butter tea specially when I asked if they served it. The servers are very attentive and nice as well.I was there for my birthday...and boy do they know how to help you observe the occasion!I'll be back for sure.”
“all the staff was so nice and the pizzas came out really fast it was the best pizza I've ever had but most importantly the staff might have been the nicest and kindest people ”
“I purchased the frozen pizza crusts for my kids (one who cannot eat gluten). Just added sauce and mozzarella cheese and so delicious. This place is a hidden gem for sure.”
“We just had our son’s baptism celebration in Coopers Hall at Reverie Brewing. Our bartender was great/attentive and everyone had a great time. We will be back very soon!”
“If your looking for a authentic feeling, sit down restaurant in the Sandy Hook area, then look no further. With exceptional service and food cooked to perfection you really get it all here. I highly recommend the short rib dumplings as an appetizer to show they mean business.Parking: Roughly 4 spots in front of restaurant and 30 - 40 in the back.Kid-friendliness: Great selection of food for kids.”
“Centrally located in town, next to town hall. This is at the intersection with state route 25 (main Street) the main north/south route through town, and church hill road (U.S route 6). This is in the historic district of Newtown in the flag pole building.”
“The best healthy restaurant I know. Especially if you follow Medical Medium. They have an abundant selection of food, juices, smoothies, brain shot therapies, supplements, frozen GF breads, etc. absolutely love this place! Worth the drive from Pa!Dietary restrictions: Vegan, GF”
“Carminuccio’s is amazing! I came here all the time as a kid, and they’re still making delicious pizza over a decade later. Service was incredible and our server was so welcoming. Don’t miss this place!!”
“The Farmhouse is the best restaurant around. This co-owned establishment has split the management, one owner on the front end with the other being head chef in the back and it is reflected in the quality of everything they do.From the highest of standards reflected in their sourcing of the ingredients and the preparation of the food all of the way to the service, accomodations and atmosphere I sincerely couldn't say nicer things. Top notch in every way.My husband and I had our after wedding dinner here and front end owner, Michelle who is ever present made everything set for us, reserving their back room with no issue and ultra accommodating to any changes we made to our party number/requests. The service for our group of 26 was on point and the food was exceptional. We have already been back and trust it as our regular, special place. Do yourself a favor and have a meal here! Thanks again to All of You at The Farmhouse ❤️Wheelchair accessibility: My father who cannot handle stairs/steps/inclines was able to handle the logistics of The Farmhouse with ease. It is a straight shot from the parking lot and handicapped spot with no curb of any kind to get into the easily accessible building.”
“This was our first time there. So charming, great selection, amazing quality, delicious chocolate and friendly staff. So much variety. Tonight is pasta night thanks to our spontaneous stop. Can't wait to go back. Worth stopping in to look around!!”
“I am obsessed with Robeks in Newtown, CT!! Ive ordered ahead on their app two days in a row. I will start out with its a bit pricey a 22oz medium size smoothie is $8 plus. However, when You buy organic its more expensive. When you shop at Whole Foods & Trader Joe's vs Big Y and Shoprite its more expensive. You pay more for the health benefits. Day 1 I got a medium nuts about protein smoothie (which has active water, peanut butter, coffee, raw honey, cinnamon, multi vitamin, and non fat frozen yogurt). This shake also comes with whey because I excluded that Im not looking to be buff! All the ingredients are so fresh and I feel like a health nut drinking it. Except its absolutely delicious. Day 2 - I got the same smoothie in large but this time with peanut banana toast. My husband would never normally touch non crunchy peanut butter. But he tried my peanut butter toast and actually liked it! Using the app I was given several rewards for money off my first day I used my $3 off reward for using the app. Today I used the $2 off reward for my first order and I still have $1 left in rewards for a new rewards program they have. Between the protein and fruit smoothies, acai bowls, and toasts Im sure You'll find at least one thing you love.”
“Good pizzas, great selection of beers, Thursday night is Trivia night (and other activities on other nights). Indoor and outdoor seating. You have to like loud music though because it's playing throughout the venue. Kids can have a blast playing outside while their folks can visit with other adults. And outside is dog friendly.”
“Love this place! My new daily coffee spot. Tried breakfast, lunch and the acai bowls and all was delicious. They have a drive thru which makes it that much easier to stop on your way to work. People are friendly and vibes are super chill. Highly recommend trying.”
