“I am OBSESSED with this place.Tried it randomly out of convenience and haven’t stopped returning.. truly a gem!The sandwiches are so delicious. Not to mention - very affordable and the portions are generous! The cookies are great too. Everything is made fresh and with care. You won’t be disappointed….It’s one of those places you could build a routine around.. sadly I live in NYC and am only here briefly for work - will be missing this spot when I’m gone

“This experience was mind blowing. It was breathtaking, beautiful and extravagant. Sometimes, I ponder what the meaning of life is, yet as soon as sobol creeps into my conscience I remember the stars, I remember the sun, I remember life itself. I feel like like I’m walking on thin air. I’ve fallen in love with a man named the açaí bowl with double nutella and nut free granola.“

“Wonderful place! Everything about our visit was excellent. We were greeted by friendly staff and were seated quickly. The restaurant was clean and decorated for the season (Valentine's Day). We ordered our appetizers: pasta fagioli and Caesar salad and were not disappointed. For an entree we had broccoli rabe pizza which the chef modified for our vegetarian diet. It was delicious. The crust was thin and had the right amount of crunch. The rabe was the right amount of garlicky. We should have each ordered our own! And dessert! Who knew that vanilla ice cream dowsed in good, hot espresso could be so sublime. The homemade Limoncello shot, rounded off a lovely lunch. We have been to Bari before and will return every chance we get. Big Mike, Johnny and the staff bring southern Italy to Stamford. “Had a really great Matcha at CFCF. I really appreciated the service as I ordered my matcha to the wrong location but they very nicely made it for me at the location I had hoped to order it at. The gripps Street location is really nice inside, a little bit small but it did not feel overcrowded. The gluten-free oatmeal square grew on me, but it was not great (very crumbly and not as much flavor as I hoped for). Definitely better things to eat so I will need to explore more.“

“Walked in here around 5:15p and immediately loved the set up of the place. I am a fan of coffee shops/cafes that serve drinks and this is the first one I've really found in Fairfield county. I ordered 2 empanadas (onion and cheese + caprese) and a lemon ginger tea. The woman behind the counter brought me my tea with a bottle of honey (it was nice I didn't even have to ask) while my empanadas were warming up. The music was relaxing throwbacks that I was really enjoying as I was getting some work done. The empanadas were really good! The bread/dough was different from other empanadas I've had - there was a crunch like a croissant - but I really enjoyed it with the salsa verde. Can't wait to come back here in the future!“

“I decided to stop here with my boyfriend after scouting the area for cute cafes serving fresh food with healthy options. We ended up at Granola Bar and enjoyed a wonderful lunch with our server Alex who was very accommodating and friendly. My boyfriend had the French toast that was so good he ate it right away and we didn't even get a picture of it. I opted for the avocado toast with smoked salmon and the ricotta toast. Both were incredibly fresh, light and delicious! We finished with a latte which was finely crafted with an adorable bear! There were so many other dishes that looked good on the menu being served to other diners so we will definitely be back to try the sandwiches and bowls.“

Tiramisu

“From the moment we stepped into this quaint Italian bistro, we knew we were in for a treat. The warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for what was to be an unforgettable dining experience.I opted for the homemade rigatoni with Pomodoro sauce, adding meatballs to my dish. The rigatoni was perfectly al dente and the Pomodoro sauce bursting with the fresh flavors of sun-ripened tomatoes, basil, and a hint of garlic. My wife's choice was equally impressive - homemade fettuccine with truffle. The fettuccine was expertly crafted, tender yet firm, and the truffle added an exquisite depth of flavor that elevated the dish to new heights. It was clear that the ingredients were of the highest quality and the dishes were prepared with a lot of care and passion. But what truly set our experience apart was the outstanding service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their offerings. They made us feel welcomed and valued, enhancing our dining experience. We ended the evening with what might have been the best tiramisu we’ve had.Highly recommend.“

“Very cute outdoor coffee stand at a little apartment complex park near the train station. The staff were very friendly and the coffee is delicious, really great (had a latte). However, the food situation was disappointing. They advertise yogurt parfaits, pastries, and hot sandwiches, but almost none of the things were available. I would suggest that management make clear what hours food is actually offered and served!“

“The atmosphere of The Granola Bar has a very cute, trendy, and healthy vibe to it which also goes along with the vibes of the food on the menu. Overall the food was pretty good and the menu had a variety of different options. I got the warm brussels salad. I appreciate that the salad was so chopped up so I got a taste of each ingredient in every bite. Continually, the granola on the salad was a unique and unusual touch, however, it added crunch and an unexpected sweet flavor and constrasting texture to the soft chopped brussels and the tahini dressing. My iced oat milk latte was good and was what I needed, although, it was slightly bitter for my liking. Overall, it was a very good experience accompanied with great service.“

“I have been coming to Happiness Is for years. I work from home in the area, and Happiness Is is a great local place for lunch. I walk there from my house at least 2 to 3 times a month. I am a huge fan of their Thursday chicken and spinach quesadillas. I also very much enjoy their sandwiches, particularly the Norbadeer and the Caprese. The baked goods are yummy too. I have had the brownie and the chocolate croissant- both were good. The food is delicious and fresh, and the prices are reasonable for the area. There have been a few surly employees over the years, including a guy who insisted he had given me sour cream with my quesadilla when he definitely gave me salad dressing. Those occasions have been rare, though, and I generally have had pleasant experiences with the staff.“

“They source and roast their own coffee beans, source their own cocoa, make their almond milk, their own syrups (vanilla, lavender - in season, etc), etc. The pastries offered are all locally made. The baristas are skilled and pleasant to chat with. The overall atmosphere (now that everyone is able to sit inside again, as well as the lovely outside courtyard) is fun and light-hearted. A place I look forward to meeting family and friends while enjoying a quality cup of Joe. They also sell their coffee beans as well.“
