“My husband and I had our wedding reception for 50 guests at historical downtown Two Steps. The venue was amazing. The fire truck hanging from the ceiling, the architecture and stain glass windows are beautiful. Artifacts from the Danbury State Fair hang on the walls. The staff was incredible to work with, they accommodated our every need and the food and the service was impeccable. We are so happy to have had this positive experience on our special day. We will continue to frequent the restaurant and would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning an event. Carolyn and Dave“
“After living in the area for a few years we finally made it to Lakeside Pub and we are very happy that we did. We’ve been back a few times and always enjoy the atmosphere, the great food and wonderful staff. Most notably, this past Tuesday 8/31 when it was pretty busy with just 1 bartender to manage all of the customers like a well oiled machine. She was super attentive and always smiling. The food was awesome and fresh, beer was cold and there was a great selection. I’m already thinking about the clams casino and the house wings for our next visit. My only regret is that we haven’t been here sooner.“

Does not beat out widow browns as not only best in area, but best ever.The au jus rocked, but I was disappointed with the steakumms style meat on the sandwich. It was dry, and i was expecting better quality, especially after previously having various steaks and other items from them menu. The meat in here was assembled with love and care, which is a huge issue at a lot of places. It was not stacked like a child did it, but scooped and layered with love. My biggest issue with this fd, is that is it no where near worth $22. What a sham.“

“Had a lovely time at Dragonfly on Thursday night. Food was hot when served, dinner was definitely worth the price. The vibe was very intimate and romantic with ambiance / twinkle lighting. Our server Ryan was very helpful being it was our first time here. We came just for the Periogies and they are a must try! Will also recommend the pistachio martini if you have a sweet tooth for desert. Will be coming back !“

“Fantastic music venue with a delicious food and wine selection. I highly recommend getting the table reservation for the show. We got standing room tickets for Nirvani (Nirvana tribute) and had food in a side room and watched the show from the perimeter. There’s cool Daryl Hall memorabilia all around the venue. Stellar spot for dinner and a show. Get tickets early because good bands sell out quickly. It’s all ages too so feel free to bring the kids. We’ll definitely be back.“

If I had to rate from 0 - 10, I’d give it a 10 without any hesitation. @jlawrencect just recently opened so their space is brand new and beautifully decorated! The drinks were perfectly made, the food was delicious (seriously the tastiest brunch food I’ve had yet!) and the staff made our experience and time there wonderful! My top picks Drink - J.
