“Great food as usual - best beef brisket and ribs in the area.BUT, the best, but ever elusive, is the banana cream pie. BBQ and banana cream pudding/pie go hand in hand and must always be eaten together. ?At HooDoo’s it is typically sold out so if they have get it.“
“Great restaurant situated right off Ethan Allen Highway. I ordered pickup with my family from there. Most of the food traveled very well and the portions were very large. I think the only thing that didn't really keep was the fried calamari. From what I recall my pickup experience wasn't the most stellar. It happened to be very busy when I came in so I was stood there for about 5 - 10 minutes waiting to pickup the food. However, I do not blame anyone in the restaurant for this happening, I had a pleasant experience overall despite the small wait.Parking: Parking lot is there but it is very tight for larger vehicles and while it is crowded. The lot is fairly small but still has room to park vehicles in two "rows" with space in between to drive. Please note: the way to get in is one way only. The way to get out is around the back and off a side street.“
“Very good tasting food served in an elegant “New England type” dining room. French/ American cuisine. Among the appetizers, Deviled Eggs and Smoked Trout Rillettes were very good. The special ‘soup of the day' Celery Root Veloute was very tasty. Among the entrees, Olive oil poached Halibut and Pan-seared Scallops were very good. Among the desserts, Crème Brûlée and Cheesecake were good. Good wine list with some good wine-by-the glass options. Good service.“
“I love this place.Great vibes, hot great food and excellent service.I would say get the chicken wings and fish and chips.Burgers and Cubano Bomb as well.Enjoy a phenomenal evening in the center of Ridgefield without the pretentious shenanigans!“
“Had a lovely time at Dragonfly on Thursday night. Food was hot when served, dinner was definitely worth the price. The vibe was very intimate and romantic with ambiance / twinkle lighting. Our server Ryan was very helpful being it was our first time here. We came just for the Periogies and they are a must try! Will also recommend the pistachio martini if you have a sweet tooth for desert. Will be coming back !“
“I’m trying to put into words how absolutely incredible brunch at @jlawrencect was. If I had to rate from 0 - 10, I’d give it a 10 without any hesitation. @jlawrencect just recently opened so their space is brand new and beautifully decorated! The drinks were perfectly made, the food was delicious (seriously the tastiest brunch food I’ve had yet!) and the staff made our experience and time there wonderful! My top picks Drink - J. Law Mimosa Starter - Shareable warm donuts Entree - Main Lobster Egg Benny (with home fries) Dessert - Cookie dough with ice cream Definitely make sure to visit them. Perfect Sunday brunch with friends and or family ❤️“
“Exceeds the hype! Inviting, warm, lively atmosphere. Food, service…service or food; can’t decide which is better. Table of 7, busy night, food came out just right and with every accommodation perfectly met. All ages in our party and everyone agreed, “best pizza ever!” Our server Louis was unbelievable and made a stressful day a distant memory. Definitely go!“
“We were hearing lots of great things about Casa Oaxaca. We stopped in on a Taco Tuesday. Plenty of parking in the lot. Really great decor. Plenty of seating on both sides of the restaurant including a nice bar area. There’s also a tv in the bar area for sporting events. Very clean restaurant and a great staff. When we were leaving, I noticed the tortillas being made fresh in the front of the restaurant. Made the experience even better. The food is amazing. They start you off with chips and salsa. We came during happy hour on a Taco Tuesday. We wanted to get a little of everything to try. Everything had great flavors. My favorite taco we had were the Carnitas. Really delicious chimichangas with a fresh guacamole. The empanadas were fried perfectly. The were filled to capacity. It was not like other places that put a little meat in the middle and it’s mostly shell. To end the night we ordered churros. Freshly fried with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Really finished off the great experience. Definitely looking forward to coming back soon.“
“We stumbled on this restaurant while staying T EVEN hotel. Had a wonderful dinner on Saturday night. It was so good we retuned the next day for lunch. Presentation, subtle flavors, great service. We would come back to Norwalk just to eat there again ;).“
“Pizza crusts are phenomenal. Slightly blackened, soft, yet cooked through. Toppings are inventive and great tasting. But they're only getting 4 stars. Why? The service is slow, and poorly managed. We waited too long for our pies to arrive. Initially we were given the wrong pie and then waited another 10 minutes for the correct pies to arrive. We also noticed another table of two patrons had only one pie arrive and then they had to another 10 minutes for their second pie. Our waiter seemed to want to talk cocktails and work the bar rather than return to our table. We had to ask another waiter for the check... and then take our payment.Bad night? I'm not so sure. On a prior visit for take-out, my phoned-in order still wasn't ready after the 45 minutes that was suggested.... And it took another 15 minutes for my pies to be cooked. They seem to have a real issue with scheduling and timing - which is difficult to understand - they have a pizza oven and they're making pizza, they're not stabilizing the Leaning Tower of Pisa.I'm torn. Pies are great, but the waiting, er, grates.“
“Was looking for a pizza place in town that had wood fire pizza ovens with thicker crust. This place is awesome! The pizza was delicious, we had the mushroom pizza (New England) I think? And then we had the fried calamari and the crispy cauliflower, which was my favorite! It's not a huge restaurant though, it's smaller but they do have a patio as well. The service was friendly and quick. We will definitely come back again when we are in town!“
“Always an amazing time spent at Spice. The owner is so personable. You feel at home. The Purri and Naan are amazing. Every dish is breath taking and spice is definitely present. The symphony of flavors is delectable!!! The samosas are great and the vegetarian dishes delightful. The ginger martini is worth a try...“
“Fried calamari was not good. We bought it as an appetizer and it made both of us sick the next day. It was the only food that we ate together. I recommend that you investigate why this happened. I would not serve the calamari to guests until you figure out why it made us both sick. I'm sure it happened to others, too.“
“Our friends recently moved into this area, and this is our second time here and will not be our last. We are here and it was delicious. The smash burger is oh so messy, but oh so worth it. My chicken sandwich was grilled to perfection, and it was a generous sandwich, enough to share. They have award winning wings, and I can see why, they are very unique and delicious. You should really give them a go, especially the PB & J coating. Staff are super nice, and we had to leave just as an awesome two piece band started up, and they sounded great. Can’t wait to see it in the summer.“
“We came here for my sister's birthday over the holidays. Very cute restaurant, nicely decorated with welcoming ambiance. We got a table for 6 set up easily day of. We all got different entrees and everything was very tasty and enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great evening.“
“I have have been coming here lately for the last 6 months taking my father here for lunch. Cherry Street has been a locals favorite for many years. The food has been consistently great and as advertised. The service is excellent and always makes you feel welcome and like a local. If you are looking for an excellent bar and grill this is the place.“
“Really enjoyed your restaurant, probably the best clam chowder I have every eaten and I'm a snob when it comes to food.Shout out to Stephany who helped me with getting a receipt I needed. She was not only helpful but very pleasant and a wonderful greeter for your customers.Parking: Depends on the day and time you come. It's in a plaza which is pretty busy.“
“By far the best restaurant I’ve ever been in Connecticut. I’m a local, I’m a foodie, I love going around and trying everything. I’m Brazilian, my friend is Moroccan, and we’ve also extensively traveled in our countries. We both agreed, never tried food as delicious as a bartaco’s.The Poké bowl is delicious, but my personal preference is the pork belly taco. I get six every time I go there.Fun fact, if you get the press, leches cake, they’ll actually give you a lid to close the jar if you don’t finish all of it. I dream about that cake sometimes. Also, I work in the industry, and every chef I’ve ever met, has good things to say about that place.“
“Had a Saturday lunch with friends and 18 month old twins-staff couldn't have been more understanding and accommodating. Had the turkey Chili- delicious! And went with the server's recommendation of beer (facehugger IPA), which went perfectly. Would definitely eat here again.“
“Tom & Jerry's in Brewster New York right across from the old Bull and the Barrel bar which was a great Club until covid took it downThank God for Tom and Jerry's it's right there you just need to walk across the street and find a nice place that has a pool table and the dartboard and some very nice choice of beers“
“We had dinner this past weekend and the experience was phenomenal. We started with mark twain cocktails & burrata . The special Artic Char entree was delicious! Our server Patrick was so sweet and attentive! We will definitely be back ?“
