“I've eaten most of the meats they offer but my favorite is chicken. The tacos are always hot, flavorful, the meat is juicy and in good portions, the toppings are never excessive. The side of hot sauce is always a great touch. Sometimes it's spicier than others but always delicious. I recommend this place all day. Best tacos in town, I've tried all locations and these guys never fail“

“I wanted to write a review after visiting the second time. This place deserves more than 5 stars. The ambiance is casual and so welcoming. As a starter, I ordered guacamole and chips. Guacamole is not an easy thing to make to taste good but this restaurant's guacamole is the best very tasty and I can't get over it. As a drink ordered virgin mango margarita. Service was so great. It was so quick and we didn't have to wait too long. Taco's are so delicious and very yummy. I can't wait to go there. I already started craving tacos again. Thank you Mariposa“

“I’ve been craving for some good Dominican style rabo dish and I found it today ! I stopped by here because I was in the neighborhood and had some time to kill with my baby. I was pleasantly surprised of their selections of food and the service. The price is truly reasonable for the portion they give. The rabo (oxtail) tasted absolutely delicious!! Not too salty, just right.I will be back for sure !!! ❤️“

“Absolutely fantastic food. They give you a heaping serving of rice and beans and a meat of your choice for just a little over eight dollars for the small. And that’s for the small!!!!! I got brown rice and peas, black beans, and half of a roasted chicken. I have to come earlier in the day to try the fried fish, it looks SO good. service is incredibly friendly and multi-lingual. Great assortments of imported goods with unbeatable prices! I can’t wait to come back to get some fresh meat from the butcher as well. The only critique I have is of the musse de maracujá because it tasted like cheese. This might be a different way of making it that I’ve never tried before and it’s all personal preference!Parking: I parked across the street“

Fajitas & Margaritas Bar & Grill • $$
141 Main St, Danbury

“This bar/restaurant is small and a little cramped more or less a nice little hole in the wall. But the food was amazing. The menu has Mexican and Ecuadorian food as week as some American choices. The ceviche was sweet but very good. The quisquillas were amazing and that's hard to do for something so simple to make. The price was reasonable some things were pricy but otherwise decent. The service from the waitress could've been better but all in all would recommend.“

“Love this place. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food is amazing, with plenty of options for good authentic Guatemalan and Mexican food.servers are always kind and considerate when servicing. They even have food options for kids. One downfall is if you don't like loud music. The bar can get really loud.“

Milenio's Restaurant Latin American • $

“Food was great, place was kinda hard to find since it doesn’t look open from the outside. Had to call to make sure they were open and find out if they had parking, which is between the restaurant and the firehouse, tiny parking lot, there is an entrance thru the back. Lots of options for food. Food was good, shrimp ceviche was different then the ones I had before…more creamy but definitely good. One part I didn’t really care for is that they include the tip themselves and it’s a 20% which this time I didn’t care since service was good, waiter was friendly, answered all my questions and didn’t bring all the food out at once like sometimes they do, meaning appetizer and entrée not too long after. We’ll be back.Oh I almost forgot they give you popcorn and chifles (plantain chips) to start with which is different from other Ecuadorian restaurants most of them give you tostado. Loved the changed & my kids too.“

“Food was good. Place was abandoned at 12:00 on a Thursday which was kind of weird where we had to ask the server if they were open. We only saw one woman the whole time, who was okay. They were out of various options on the menu, (like sandwiches), which is part of my reason for not giving them 5 stars. (Maybe it was just an off day though). The passion fruit mojito our server made at the bar though was AWESOME. I would go back just for the mojito. The lemon chicken had a great sauce on it. Overall, a pretty good spot!“

“Oh delicious, authentic Ecuadorian food how I have missed you! If you love food from South American and you're within driving distance of this place, you must go! My husband and I lived in Ecuador for two years, and we had some of the best food experiences of our lives. But for some reason, it's hard to find a good Ecuadorian place in the states. Most Latin American places focus on Peru or Columbia, but where is the love for a good Caldo de Bolas or a tigrillo? Well, enter this little gem in Danbury! Please note that Ecuadorian food is quite different than even Columbian food and nothing like Mexican food. Don't come here if you're expecting something a little closer to that. We ordered a good sampling of items from the menu. I got camarones al ajillo, my husband ordered llapingacho and salchipapas and we got a humita for our son. Ohhhh how rich. It took us back to our days in Guayaquil so quick! The servers are nice and the place has a good comfortable feel to it. The food takes a minute to come out because they make everything when you order it. Therefore, order a few drinks and be prepared to take a little trip to the center of the world. You won't regret it.“
