I’m not easy to please with noodles, but their drunken noodles were so flavorful! Mild was a bit too spicy for someone who doesn’t often eat spice like me. “It's difficult to explain my awe at the level of service Eric provides. I don't expect to find the devotion to the customer here in the '20s. It resembles what I had expected in the '60s. Let me try, though. An order that had gone amiss was replaced and another order were delivered on his day off. Above and beyond, I know. The single origin beans are selected and roasted to a consistently high level. While I do play around with light and medium roast espresso and pour-over, The Black Kat Espresso and the Dark Moon Mexican Decaf are exquisite. You won't go wrong with either; very forgiving of the recipe. I think I have found my roaster for life.”

“I honestly am ashamed to say that I’ve lived in East Haven for 22 years and have never had Tollis pizza. Some friends and I were getting together and we were talking about restaurants to go to, and I had mentioned that I had never tried Tollis. We decided to give it a go. And I have never been happier with a decision ever! We had the white clam pizza, we had the Amalfi pizza. And I couldn’t decide which was my favorite. My friends had the Bolognese sauce, which the waitress brought a little bowl so they could try it with some bread before they ordered their entrée! Nice touch! It was fantastic! Our waitress was super attentive, very friendly, we were near where they were making the pizzas and it was fun to watch. An all-around great experience highly highly recommend.!!!!!”

“I had Sour Diesel at a bar in Glastonbury and it was so good that I drove to New Haven to go to the brewery! The facility (The Beeracks) was a great place to sit and have some tasters! The atomosphere people, and building were great!!!”

“Delicious Latin food. Good price but not the drinks. Not very recent sweets. Great service and kindness. There is parking and access for wheelchairs without automatic doors.

Vegetarian options: The leg soups, delicious! The tripe is delicious although they put more beef than tripe in it. The tripe is without sauce, a lot of flavor of delicious potted vegetables! The yellow rice they make with pieces of white ham and vegetables is good. The sancocho is good but it lacks more vegetables, it only has carrots, yucca, potatoes, pieces of beef with pieces of fat added to make the portion larger. My wife once had tilapia fillet with shrimp for dinner but it was salty and she didn't finish it. The bolones, which are fried plantain balls with pork rinds, cheese and cilantro, are delicious! My wife's favorite! The food is good and perfect. I recommend it.
