“This place now is my favorite Spanish food spot in East Haven. I know me some tacos and they got the whole situation correct. 4 was too many. THE SAUCES my goodness.... I felt refreshed and clean after eating 4 chicken tacos and my chocolate milkshake (highly recommended) I also get the spinach empanadas which are phenomenal.You will be greeted by lovely ladies that make you feel welcomed. Your food is ready quickly (I will only come here for my lunch bc they don't make you wait after you call in, plus the sweetness and respect from the employees go a long way for me)They deserve recognition and I wish I had something close to this in my town.Thank you ladies :):“

“Service is variable. Last time I went to Barcelona in NH I arrived a little after my friend who just stepped off the train. I guess she thought the olive oil plate was for her olive pits, and since bread didn’t land on the table before her food got there when our bread finally arrived the server just poured oil onto the olive oil plate with the pits in it and told us to dip around the pits instead of replacing the olive oil plate. We actually thought it was very silly and funny but if we weren’t so close it would not be aceptable. Other than that weird interaction the drinks were good the food was good and the main server was attentive and pleasant. I worked through grad school at the west Hartford restaurant and will be having my bridal shower at the Fairfield location so I’m rooting for a little more attention to detail to become a priority again!“

“Sunday Brunch was flavorful, mimosa was, well a mimosa . The server was kind enough to put an orange slice when requested. I have included a couple of photos, I find this helpful when searching for a place to dine. Shrimp and Corn Chowder was sweet from the grilled fresh corn, and tender shrimp. Herbs and peppered perfectly. No salt detected which was a pleasant surprise! Served with a slice of grilled sourdough topped this flavorful starter without question! Lobster Benedict was actually Devine! Eggs were perfectly poached, plump sweet lobster chunks, balanced perfectly with chewy toasted ciabatta. Potatoes were tasty, tender and seasoned with sofitas (?) so good. Tiny diced red onions, peppers and herbs scattered made the entire meal flavorful and fresh. Certainly enough space for a crowd, and an equal amount of two seat tables snuggled in corners for a quiet meal for one. Thank you!“

“The atmosphere is intimate, the empanada's are so amazing, with a very creative variety!! It is clear that this is a labor of love, and your palette will benefit in a big way. I also, happen to catch a couple of event nights there that were really enjoyable. One, displayed a artists paintings, and the other was an open mic night, anyone was welcome. That was most enjoyable.. Put this on your "must" list!!“

“My family and I always go there for lunch oh just order to go, very good food and good customer service. They have a menu and ready-made food to take away with good prices.Very good food, good customer service I go for lunch or just to grab a go and always clean and good food. “ORALE, the food was amazing! This is AUTHENTIC Mexican food. I ordered the steak torta and my husband ordered shrimp tacos. It was the best torta that I've ever had and my husband could not stop talking about how delicious his steak tacos were. I used their chile de arbol and made sure to add it to every bite. The atmosphere itself is pretty small and needs some updating and they only had one person on the floor while it was pretty busy but that didnt really affect the service as much as I was expecting. Despite all of that, my food was superb and we will definitely be returning.“
