“Our first visit and absolutely not our last! From.the moment we walked in, the vibe had us smiling. Our server Brittany was amazing, and the food...WOW! We got the tuna tartare as an appetizer and it was fresh and delicious. I had the salmon and he had the jambalaya. The portions were generous but not too much and the food itself was delicious! We decided to share a piece of the cheesecake of the week and were NOT disappointed! Strawberry shortcake...think the good humor ice cream bar...The owners stopped by and made sure we were enjoying our meal. Can't wait to go back!“
“This was my first time here… I absolutely loved the burger… we had ordered hangover burger and it is one of best burger you can around this part of CT. I shared the burger, so they had cut in 2 and put it 2 different plates .. that was so good … usually I have requested to cut the burger in half.. many restaurants have denied it outrightly. Chicken wings are really good and worth every penny.. I was disappointed with the French onion soup though.. it was something I didn’t like at all.. order the tarter tots instead of fries.. looks they tots are popular there .. and fries aren’t great like burger..“
“I visited At The Dam for breakfast with my 4-year-old son this morning. It was our first time here, and I already can’t wait to go back. We were warmly greeted by one of the waitresses, and both she and the other waitress, who I believe is one of the owners, were so friendly and attentive while we were there. Our food came out quickly and it was both fresh and delicious. The corned beef hash is outstanding! We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience this morning, and it’s a place our family will visit time and time again.“
“My boyfriend and I ate here tonight 3/14/24 and our server was Victoria. She was very polite the entire time. However, she forgot about my boyfriend’s beer. She was also talking and flirting with a man right behind where we were seated for most of our dinner. They were flirting the whole time, and the man was touching her in which I consider to be an inappropriate fashion. It was not the kind of sight you need to see at dinner and was gross. It took her a while to realize she forgot the beer because she was talking to this person the entire time rather than waiting on us. I recognize that this is not the fault of the establishment. I just feel as though our dinner experience was uncomfortable and feel the need to voice my concerns. We will be back! We love this place. Service could have been better.“
“Just Love this establishment! Food, Service & Atmosphere was Exceptional.I had the Ribeye, and my other 2 family members had the Tortellini Rosa & The Lamb Gyro. Also, excellent spinach dip. The portions were huge! Enough to bring home for a 2nd meal. I highly recommend this restaurant !!!“
“We were definitely under dressed but stopped here on a whim and it was a good experience. We will definitely be back. My son had a dairy and soy allergy and I don’t eat dairy and they were beyond amazing with allergies. They can really accommodate anyone with an allergy! We will for sure be back. It was also very big portions and reasonably priced. Kids meal is only $8!Dietary restrictions: They are great with any allergy precautions!“
“We are from Rhode Island and were in the area to visit Six Flags. Found Marks Restaurant using Google maps for breakfast near me. The food was excellent. The homemade bread was even better. Probably not a common comment, but my view of the kitchen from the register it’s a very clean and neat setup. I’ve worked in foodservice delivery and have always viewed restaurants from back of house which influenced my decision to eat there. I recommend Marks and will be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“The food is out of this world!!!!! The fried chicken is so moist and perfect. I got the honey mustard wrap and garlic parm fries and it was divine!!! My bf got the southern fried chicken and it was phenomenal. Even the nachos and chilli were fantastic! Cannot go wrong here. 10/10!!“
“I went to Monet on a Saturday for brunch and it was the most amazing and unique experience. It's beautiful and lovely from the moment you drive up to the place. Once we walked inside we saw that there were a few tables open and we were seated immediately. The waitress and hostess were so friendly and kind. The menu had lots of delicious options but I went with a class brunch meal of eggs, potatoes, bacon, and bread. The food arrived shortly after and it was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. I'm excited to go back and try more food on their menu!P.S. They have a fin gift shop on the way out that I recommend checking out.Parking: There is a parking lot in the back with plenty of spaces.“
“I just moved to town and was alone in my still empty house. The Burrstone Rd Friendly’s was close so I did a take out order online. It was done when I got there and the ladies working were so nice! The BLT was actually quite good on sourdough and the onion rings were awesome.“
“Haven't been to longhorn in a few years. My first experience wasn't that great. They really really made up for it with this experience. I had a strawberry chicken salad and it was great. My wife had a 6 oz steak with with brussel sprouts and mac and cheese and I tried both and it was great. She ate all her steak. My salad was fabulous and the service was above excellentParking: Weather lots is a nice size. We went right at dinner so it was just busy“
“Manchester is my home town but I live 2000 miles away, but e when I return home I try to hit Shady Glen. SG is renown for its cheeseburgers and ice cream. Those are completely great choices, for sure, but I go down-menu for a scallop platter or whole belly clams. I get their fries and Cole slaw whenever I can. My mom accompanied me this trip, and just ordered French fries and Cole slaw, with a half-gallon of chocolate chip ice cream. I can't argue with those selections. Perfect. I got a hot fudge sundae with mint chocolate chip, scratching a childhood era itch. I love this place.“
“This charming restaurant is the perfect spot for a romantic evening. Clean environment, soft lighting, and elegant decorations. Views of the lake add breathtaking backdrop to the dining experience. One of the highlights is the kissing bridge-if you are in love, it's a must do - and yes, I did share a memorable kiss with my fiance there. Highly recommended for a special night out.“
“Love going to this well-established neighborhood bar/Italian restaurant. I live fairly close by. I treat myself once or twice a month here. I absolutely love the service, food and portion size. I eat my meal, and always have a take out portion for two more meals. The booths are roomy, and don't get me started on how good the mini baguette rolls are. Readers GO HERE. The bar side is always HOPPING! I may sit in there next time. Watch out!“
“My experience here was fantastic. Very friendly and professional. The tables are well kept and cleaned, including the balls every night. The food was great, pretty basic menu. The service was great and I have nothing but kudos to ladies that wait on us. There is league nights, so call for public availability first, I strongly suggest. This establishment is well kept, I strongly recommend to family and friends, also to the public.“
“This restaurant kept going all through covid and was a lifeline for my family with good food at a time that was very stressful. They earned my continued business because of their faithful service to the community despite challenges. Most of my orders with them have been to go so I can't comment on the service per se. But the times I have been there the service was prompt and enjoyable. Personal size veggie pizza is my favorite.“
“What a great place. Even though I only live a short drive from here, I hadn't visited for years. My mistake. Even on a very busy weekend morning, we were seated promptly, and our order taken. The coffee was hot and delicious. Our breakfasts were exactly what we were expecting, and perfectly prepared. Service was attentive and I noticed the whole staff was cooperating to make sure guests were happy. Everyone was very friendly. Will definitely be back.Parking: Parking is easy.“
“Price to quality was excellent; from kids new to our hamburgers we made to perfection; French fries was fresh. Garden Salad was perfect.Parking: Lots of parkingKid-friendliness: Very kids friendly and had watermelon or fries optionWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Such a cute place, very friendly and quaint. Our bartender was very engaging and offered food/wine pairings - our only problem with him is that he wouldn't disclose a favorite drink recipe! Lol! We were there for live music - Alex Rohan did not disappoint, we will now be following him as well. Overall, it was an extremely enjoyable evening in all regards!“
“The waitress was great. Attentive but not too much so, friendly, and competent. Three of us went for breakfast and had different meals and all were delicious and the prices were very reasonable. We also liked that the booths were high back so you have some privacy. We will be back!“
“Good all around restaurant that for some reason I forget is there. The menu has a variety of different options and a few creative dishes.Could have a few more appetizers or charcuterie, but not a huge deal. They happen to have "Graham Central" Ice cream which is a must, must have.“
“I came here for breakfast with my family on a Sunday morning after reading good things about the place. We got there early in the morning and were able to be seated right away. The inside was really appealing, the dessert display case especially cool looking. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us a lot. Our food came out quickly and was nice and hot.The food was good. It was a little expensive, but it made more sense when we got the portions, they were huge! I liked their breakfast menu and felt there were a lot of options.I'd recommend a stop in!“
“Ok so I wasn't sure about this place but dang! The wings were ON point! Super crispy and flavorful - we got the teriyaki and lemon pepper dry rub. That Lemmon pepper was awesome with great flavor. Service was friendly and attentive. The inside is nice and looks recently Renovated. We found the prices to be very fair. He had a burger and I had a steak salad which was huge with a lot of tasty steak and huge chunks of blue cheese. We will return.“
“Our servers were terrific. One was in training. A real turnoff, though, was the fact that certain people were not made to pull back their hair. One sat us, playing with her long hair, and the other one went around checking each table to see if we were doing ok. All the other servers, sitters, bar tenders, and bus people did their hair back. These two need to be watched. I'm pretty sure in some states it's part of a law. I would like you to speak to them. Everything else was fine. We will return but next time I will ask to see a manager.“
“Hi my name is Merry Garrett. We enjoy hanging out at The Spot. If you want to hangout somewhere with the feeling of a neighborhood hug this hits THE SPOT. The food is hearty, the staff is nice and attentive without being annoying. The owner is a gentleman and the live entertainment is excellent. There's a very cool covered outdoor area that EXCELLENT for a party vibe corporate or private. We make it a point to visit approximately once a month or two. Oh and yes, you can order your yummies for pick up too. We've done both. Thank you stocking A1 Steak Sauce.Vegetarian options: More than the standard few dishes and yum. Well seasoned with herbs and spices not just salt.Parking: EXCELLENT open free shopping plaza parking. There's a lot of spaces.Kid-friendliness: Best area for families with youngsters is the booth areas. However, yes they are welcome too.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp, the door is wide enough for a standard wheelchair, easy table access.“
“Had the best prime rib dinner ever last night at Joanna’s. The meal wasn’t skimpy by any means. Definitely worth the price. Not only got a salad but a fresh vegetable that was seasoned just right. The prime rib was like butter, so tender. Will be going back for sure!“
“They brought our food first before our soup and salad, we asked for the manager it took a long time we walked out this was the second time I had this experience in this place The service here is not good. We went back there again in the middle of September of 2021, this time we got a better service. We are back in November of 2022 and service is much better. In March 2024 is all good“
“Went to a private birthday party in the vip room. There are 6 lanes,a bar and plenty of seating. The food was buffet style and it was ok, nothing to rave about. It was basically wings and pizza. It's a great place for a kids birthday party.“
“Food is very tasty & plentyiful. Nice selection of offerings. Enjoy Taco Tuesday. Friendly staff. Nice place for gatherings with friends. Jonathan is great to work with!Kid-friendliness: Casual relaxed atmosphere.Parking: Plenty of parking“
“This was my first visit to Chuck Wagon. Everyone says it's a great breakfast spot and everyone is correct. When I walked in, I immediately knew breakfast was going to be good. It has that great breakfast vibe. There are booths, tables and a counter with stools for seating. We sat ourselves at a table and were immediately greeted, given menus and asked if we wanted a coffee or something else to drink. The waitresses are all "seniors" and fit the breakfast waitress stereotype to the T. The tables and coffee cups have local advertising on them. So great. The breakfast menu is extensive, with eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, breakfast sandwiches and combination plates. There's something for everyone. I am celiac. The waitress understood immediately and offered GF bread or toast. I had a Reuben omelet with the GF toast and a side of bacon. The GF toast is toasted in the same toaster as the regular bread but that doesn't affect me so I had the toast. It came buttered and the little jelly packets are on each table. It was GREAT. The bacon was crisp and thick. Very good. The omelette was large and well stocked with corned beef, cheese, sauerkraut and dressing. Excellent. My daughter had French toast with strawberries. The French toast was thick and well cooked. The strawberries were previously frozen but still very good. She also had a breakfast sandwich which was cooked perfectly and delicious as well. She also got a chocolate milk which was very chocolatey and large! The waitress came by multiple times to refill my coffee which is one of my checkpoints for a good breakfast spot. My coffee should always be full and hot during breakfast, and it was! If you're in Ellington , you need to check out the Chuck Wagon. It's a winner.“
