The atmosphere at South Bay is inviting but there were hardly any people there on a Friday night. The service was pretty good- our waiter was attentive and charming but the food was just ok. I had pasta with clams and although the sauce was good, the clams were chewy. We got warm, yummy bread but overall it just wasn't that special. In a town with lots of amazing choices, South Bay needs to step up its game.
Called on a Friday night, Christmas weekend to see if they had space for my party of 4 and they said yes! This was a nice surprise as we were looking to eat at colony and did a 180 in our plans. Manager was great and attentive as was staff. The manager answered when i called and said she had space and to come by.
