“I used to eat here fairly regularly for the asada fries, but it's now down to 50/50 if the fries themselves will be edible, or overcooked to a point that they're the same color as the meat and my metal fork can't pierce them. Bummer. I don't know where else you can go for lumpia and a taco though.“

“I was surprised at the variety of food served. My friend and I ordered grinders, and they were good. The service was great, and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch. I've had take out pizzas from Village Pizza that were excellent. Many people here don't know that this is a sit-down restaurant. The owner was our server and cook.“

Have been there previously and had a much better experience. I am not sure what changed but definitely will not go back or recommend this place if the same rude waitress is there. “A recent first time visit for my wife and I found me behind the best plate of Veal Parm I’ve had in many years. My wife in Ricotta heaven with her Stuffed Manicotti. A fresh salad start with bread that floated like a cloud. Talk about a home run! We live an hour away but will return in a heartbeat! Manga!“

Gorgeous French pastries that taste as good as they look, and a beautiful interior.It was tough to choose, but eventually I picked this exquisite orange pistachio pastry. “Absolutely amazing food, i got the fish and chips but replaced fries with onion rings. I would reccomend this cafe to friends, family etc. The live band was amazing and the drinks were even better. I got a grapefruit martini that was a little too bitter. I didnt even complain about it, but the owner herself saw my face and immediately offered to replace the drink or add to it to my liking. The service was phenominal and the food was just as amazing. Whether you just want a drink or are hungry, its seriously one of the best places in the area.“

“We had a two delicious meals. The duck was crisp and not fatty. I had the special with roasted potatoes and spiraled veggies with a delicious sauce. My husband thought his paella was very good. Beautiful decorations, friendly staff.However, I've lived in CT, RI, and MA and out of all three states (and the many breweries I've tried while residing in each), this brewery has the best stout I've had in over a decade (their other beers are also great but I'm a stout person). I'm very disappointed Man O' War allegedly won't be staying on the menu, but if this is the caliber this brewery can create I'll happily try anything they come up with!“

“I’ve driven by multiple times and finally had a chance to stop in for an early dinner. Upon entering the hostess was very pleasant and took me to the front patio area. I also immediately recognized the pomodoro and garlic smell that is distinctive of high end Italian restaurants. The waiter was just as pleasant and recognized that I was from out of town ( must have seen my plates on my car ). The bread and smoky EVOO was a great touch. There were multiple menu items I wanted to try but decided that this visit would be the old faithful Chicken Parm. It absolutely did not disappoint. Arrived perfectly prepared from the kitchen and as accompanied by home made spaghetti. One of the best prepared chicken parms I’ve had on the East coast. Skipped dessert but will be back to try more! I felt bad for our waitress for getting yelled at by the cook in an open kitchen establishment just for informing chef that an order was to go but the manager or possibly the owner, stepped in and handled it appropriately. “I've never written a review before but I felt compelled to leave one after my experience at Nana's. Yesterday was my first time there and it was awesome. Nana and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and just great to talk to. My boyfriend and I ordered the Alfredo pasta with chicken and it filled us both up which is surprising considering my boyfriend eats a lot, but anyways it was delicious, filling, and well priced. We also ordered the tiramisu and fried dough and both were extremely good. We were the only ones dining in there and Nana even threw in some extra fried dough for me. “Terrific, terrific, terrific - I came in late at night after working all day and was warmly greeted by the fantastic cashier who even gave me a sample piece of some pizza while I picked from the menu, immediately seated me and served up some fantastic food. I worked all over New York and every borough for nearly a decade and the pizza here is terrific and beats out many other pizza places and certainly those in the area in connecticut- but the service and atmosphere alone was welcoming and warm beyond my expectations and I can't wait to see them again.“

The staff were welcoming and very friendly ... traveling with your dog and finding a restaurant can be difficult but the patio was roomy and had plenty of space for our dog ... it was a relaxing atmosphere oh and the food was awesome! Shea was our waitress and can't say enough about her and the other staff members ... we went back twice we liked it so much! I would strongly recommend the Dog Watch Cafe!“
