Every single wine pairing was an absolutely phenomenal complement to each dish (except for the last one, which was “merely” a good match for the dish). The Smoked Gold cocktail was definitely a highlight too. We are looking forward to returning when more produce is in season since they source it locally.”

“Vegan review:Came to here after renting an airbnb in Kent for a bachelorette party. We reached out to Sophie's ahead of time because we had a few vegans in our party (myself included), and were looking for somewhere with a few options for them. They were super pleasant and responsive to our questions, and told us they could make us a custom cake for the occasion (we ordered a coffee cake, which was already vegan).They gave us a private room for our party, and allowed us to bring champagne for mimosas. Not only did they have vegan options, but they had a special menu with several additional vegan specials made up and printed out for us! We got the vegan blueberry French toast (awesome), the vegan harissa toast (wow), and the vegan tofu sunrise wrap (honestly so good- so many non-vegan places don't know how to actually use spices to make the tofu TASTE like something, but Sophie's knows their stuff!) they also had a house-made vegan ranch dressing that was the best dressing I've ever had??The non vegans got pancakes, eggs Benedict etc (all the classics) and we had rave reviews all around. Our servers were wonderful. Everyone LOVED the coffee cake, including the non vegans, who couldn't tell the difference. It was so moist and decadent. Coffee was really good. They had some rad looking pastries in the case (several vegan!). Also, not sure if I'm just traumatized by living in NYC, but the prices were GREAT- super affordable.We will definitely go out of our way to make a stop back in the area soon to head back to Sophie's. “I just LOVE Bull's Bridge and always have. The food is consistantly delicious and always prepared with obvious great attention to taste as well as presentation. Add to this a staff of pleasant, professional servers who strive to please their customers.The menu is amazingly diverse with appetizers, soups,daily specials and entrees that tempt the palate to the point that it is difficult to make choices because EVERYTHING looks so delicious! ( And, it always is.) The seafood is fresh and tasty. There is a wonderful wine and beer selection as well as their dessert drinks. Not to be overlooked are their delicious desserts. The Creme Brulee' is always so fantastic and they also make fantastic Bread Pudding.I feel the portion sizes are great and the prices very reasonable. I enjoy taking friends and family to Bull's Bridge, because I'm confident that they will enjoy their meal and the rustic, relaxing atmosphere.Bull's Bridge Inn is always certain to satisfy everyone.Kid-friendliness: Definitely accomodating to families with children.”

“Kingsley hits all the right buttons. You can sit and eat at the bar if you are feeling social or get a cozy table for two by the window. The chef often comes out to chat to locals and visitors alike and she has no problem taking opinions or praise. The bartender will recommend a cocktail if you ask he is attentive without lurking! All of this plus wonderful food, most of which is sourced locally. There are some permanent items. I love the big bowl of mussels with crusty bread for dipping; last visit they were in a saffron based broth. I highly recommend !”

“I have gone to the Fife since I was a child. My grandfather used to take my sister and I to fine dining establishments to show us manners, and likely food we were never aware of. Some of my fondest memories are being taken to the Fife, as my grandfather and Dolph were friends. if a restaurant had a piano bar? High on his list. I remember many a night listening to his Irish tenor against Dolph, and Ephraim Zimbalist Jr. While I am local, it's just far enough to not be my local place. but last year, I decided that we would have Easter lunch there. While it is a time capsule memory for me, the food is stellar. It is the very essence of New England cooking slightly reimagined. it is seriously old school and I love that. The Fife has likely changed through the times, but they offer a wide array. The service is perfect. You are not waited on by just one, but the whole staff. As someone who worked in every facet of restaurants while getting my career off, I know how valuable a team they have. Trust me when I say, this is an unpretentious local gem that really shines. I am so happy that even while Dolph is gone, his legacy continues. Our late lunch today was lovely. I am always transported to a different time. the music is always wonderful. We will always return for special occasions, if not more regularly than Easter dinner.”

“It's a great place to sit down and have a nice dinner. Their pizza is pan pizza so if you're looking for New York style this is not the place but they're pan pizza is pretty good. I've also had a few of their dinners and their appetizers and the food is top-notch great place if you're in the Kent area. They also have a bar and an outside patio which I cannot review as I have not been there when it's warm yet and I have not tended to the bar but the atmosphere looked pretty great on the bar side.”

“WE LOVE Kelly’s ice cream and Kelly’s husband food truck (although we feel sad he doesn’t get to have a name for his own truck! lol). The ice cream is great, I’m obsessed with their daily freshly made waffle cones. Kelly’s husband food truck has great burgers. And we love the decoration on special holidays, the huge gazebo with fire pits and all.”

“Food price / quality (value) rating: 10. We've now been here twice. This is now at the top of our list for value. The atmosphere is a contemporary pub / tavern style. Owner / Operators George and Tara are typically on location assuring top quality.Well balanced menu offerings make it easy to find something you'll like. I had the Shrimp Santiago, which had perfectly cooked linguine and 7 shrimp, and was presented beautifully. The wife had the Filet of Sole and stated that she loved it. The entrees included freshly heated rolls and a very decent salad. The portions were large, and we both will get a second meal out of them. We also split a Tiramisu dessert that was excellent and very different from any that I've had prior. On our second visit I got TWO OF THEM to go! They have a fairly limited, but well chosen offering of bottled beers, but no draught beer. The prices are very reasonable, and the service was excellent. It's easy to tell that the owners are not unfamiliar with the restaurant business! Highly recommended!”

“A wonderful new addition to my town! The space is large enough sit and have lunch and grab a few items at their market. The staff is very friendly and they always make sure they have bilingual staff member there to help those of us who do not speak Spanish, because of this I prefer this establishment over another local one. They make it easy for me to feel comfortable asking questions or ordering a type of food I really don't know much about, but I am learning to love!”

“I absolutely love Fudgy's Ice Cream! I am a huge fan of their milkshakes, and although I've only been there a couple of times, I've really enjoyed their milkshakes. I got to try four of their flavors and tried some of my mom's chocolate dip shell. I really love the ice cream flavors, swirls, and milkshake options. There are so many things that I wish I could try there, although I'm almost never in the area. I will definitely be here again if I'm nearby or driving through.”

“My partner and I recently took a trip up from the city to visit Serevan, an absolutely exquisite restaurant in the Hudson River Valley. I had dined there many times before and to visit the owner and head chef, Serge Madikians. Each and every time, I was treated like family by the entire staff. As a vegan, Serge made sure to accommodate me with wonderful plant-based dishes; the kitchen is always ready to provide a vegan friendly meal and will accommodate all dietary requirements. Dishes are inventive and exotic, along with being plated like artwork. As for the ambiance, Serevan is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever been to. Both my partner and I are in the art field, painter and art historian respectively, and we appreciate the high aesthetics that are found in both Serevan's decor and dishes. We cannot say enough great things about this gem, tucked away in the Hudson River Valley. A must go-to destination!”
