“A wonderful new addition to my town! The space is large enough sit and have lunch and grab a few items at their market. The staff is very friendly and they always make sure they have bilingual staff member there to help those of us who do not speak Spanish, because of this I prefer this establishment over another local one. We ordered two farmhouse dogs, a classic burger and fries along with tots and buffalo boneless chicken. Everything was delicious. There wasn't a morsel left. This restaurant is farm to table and I feel like the burger was the freshest tasting burger I've had in a really long time.”

“We did the chef’s tasting menu and I also got the wine pairings. Every single wine pairing was an absolutely phenomenal complement to each dish (except for the last one, which was “merely” a good match for the dish). The Smoked Gold cocktail was definitely a highlight too. We are looking forward to returning when more produce is in season since they source it locally.”

“First time trying Rocco's. Has parking and looks like an old style diner which gives it atmosphere and a look that's not seen much anymore. Wine and beer be fine, they serve both. Pasta dishes and pizza are on the menu. All was well until check out time, when paying. If paying by card, you get charged with a fee. Wish we had known cause tip would have been higher. Part of the tip went for the fee. We'll be back though. Next time we'll pay in cash.”

Want a great on-the-premise roasted bean for your french press, no problem. Have a moody Italian espresso machine that needs serviced after years of neglect, say no more. John does it all and with a smile on his face. Small towns rarely have these types of establishments or purveyors any more. Sherman is so lucky that it does.”

“Stumbled upon this place this afternoon after being in the area for a local gym I was curious about. Tucked on a side street in the corner lies Forrest Sidestreet cafe. From hot dogs to sandwich’s they have you covered. After talking to a local I went with the Philly burger and fries. And let me tell you I was blown away! The customer service, and quality of food all a reason to get on over here.”

“Great place. The food is amazing!!! We've eaten here several times and every time the food is outstanding! Their meals and pizzas are delicious and the sushi is fantastic. We had the Spicy Chicken Katsu and Katsu Deluxe the other night, it blew our minds how good it was!! While the bar/restaurant area is very small and gets crowded quickly, they offer a pick up option on the side of the business (this is the way to go).”

“Vegan review:Came to here after renting an airbnb in Kent for a bachelorette party. We reached out to Sophie's ahead of time because we had a few vegans in our party (myself included), and were looking for somewhere with a few options for them. They were super pleasant and responsive to our questions, and told us they could make us a custom cake for the occasion (we ordered a coffee cake, which was already vegan).They gave us a private room for our party, and allowed us to bring champagne for mimosas. Not only did they have vegan options, but they had a special menu with several additional vegan specials made up and printed out for us! We got the vegan blueberry French toast (awesome), the vegan harissa toast (wow), and the vegan tofu sunrise wrap (honestly so good- so many non-vegan places don't know how to actually use spices to make the tofu TASTE like something, but Sophie's knows their stuff!) they also had a house-made vegan ranch dressing that was the best dressing I've ever had??The non vegans got pancakes, eggs Benedict etc (all the classics) and we had rave reviews all around. Our servers were wonderful. Everyone LOVED the coffee cake, including the non vegans, who couldn't tell the difference. It was so moist and decadent. Coffee was really good. They had some rad looking pastries in the case (several vegan!). Also, not sure if I'm just traumatized by living in NYC, but the prices were GREAT- super affordable.We will definitely go out of our way to make a stop back in the area soon to head back to Sophie's. Can't recommend them enough, it was the perfect end to our weekend.Dietary restrictions: Amazing vegan options!”
