“I'm from South-Africa and I discovered the 202 tavern while working in the area, after my first visit I fell in love with this restaurant.Their food and service is great, definitely will be back for a visit.Vegetarian options: If you love your hamburger but don't like the veggie burger patty that tast like nothing, then definitely try the veggie burger as it's the best veggie burger I ever had.”
“My first visit was last February for my birthday. My friend had pre-arranged for the 5 course tasting menu/pairing. It was the perfect introduction to the restaurant and the culinary talents of Chef David. When a close friend had a milestone birthday I knew this would be the perfect locale given his Italian heritage. He’s picky on bread since he makes his own - he couldn’t get enough of it and was excited to find out it was made on site! Recently, when I saw the braised rabbit filled buttons I knew I had to return. Since it was just me and a last minute decision I was thrilled to get a spot at the bar. I can tell you the attention was exactly the same as if I were in the main dining room. First time visitors should splurge on the tasting menu! Grazie mille Chef David and the entire friendly team.”
“One of the better dining experiences that can be had in Connecticut. Michelin star quality without the price. The staff is extremely personable and makes you feel as if you are the only person in the restaurant. They are very knowledgeable about the menu. The presentation and taste of the food is exceptional. The food is farm to table with fresh ingredients. The dining room is dimly lit and intimate. The experience has been consistent the 5 times that I have visited.”
“Took a chance on a Sunday drive by. My only suggestion is that the restaurant be renamed “Really, really good eats.” Great food, service, atmosphere, and nice live music. Perfect place to bring friends or celebrate a special occasion.”
“The food was really good. Great variety of Asian fusion dishes. I didn't really like my lychee-tini. Way too sweet but I would definitely go back again.Mojito was great. Fried rice, yaki ramen, dumplings all really good too!”
“A number of months ago during a visit to New Milford, my wife and I had dinner at Vegas Mexican Kitchen. At that time, we were very much impressed with our entire meal. From the appetizer, to the entree and dessert, the food was excellent. It was a welcome experience.Flash forward to this past Wednesday. On a return trip to the area we decided Vegas Mexican Kitchen would be our choice for first night dinner. We were very pleased to find our dining experience was as exceptional as the first visit.Having traveled a bit we realize good authentic Mexican cuisine is hard to find, especially in New England. We have to say this is the best Mexican restaurant we have been to in a very long time.Every item we had tasted fresh, was not overly spiced and the portions were plentiful. The sauces were thick and had the proper flavor from what we would consider central Mexico. From the kitchen staff to the servers, they made our meal a delightful experience. If you want good traditional Mexican, The Vegas Mexican Kitchen is the place to go.Sigan con el buen trabajo. Nos vemos en el viaje de regreso.”
“Exceptional sourdough. I always grab an olive loaf when I'm around. Last time I was in I decided to try their cheese and strawberry rhubarb danish and was not disappointed. There's nothing like the smell of fresh baked bread and Bantam Bread delivers every time.”
“Vegan review:Came to here after renting an airbnb in Kent for a bachelorette party. We reached out to Sophie's ahead of time because we had a few vegans in our party (myself included), and were looking for somewhere with a few options for them. They were super pleasant and responsive to our questions, and told us they could make us a custom cake for the occasion (we ordered a coffee cake, which was already vegan). They gave us a private room for our party, and allowed us to bring champagne for mimosas. Not only did they have vegan options, but they had a special menu with several additional vegan specials made up and printed out for us! We got the vegan blueberry French toast (awesome), the vegan harissa toast (wow), and the vegan tofu sunrise wrap (honestly so good- so many non-vegan places don't know how to actually use spices to make the tofu TASTE like something, but Sophie's knows their stuff!) they also had a house-made vegan ranch dressing that was the best dressing I've ever had??The non vegans got pancakes, eggs Benedict etc (all the classics) and we had rave reviews all around. Our servers were wonderful. Everyone LOVED the coffee cake, including the non vegans, who couldn't tell the difference. It was so moist and decadent. Coffee was really good. They had some rad looking pastries in the case (several vegan!). Also, not sure if I'm just traumatized by living in NYC, but the prices were GREAT- super affordable. We will definitely go out of our way to make a stop back in the area soon to head back to Sophie's. Can't recommend them enough, it was the perfect end to our weekend.Dietary restrictions: Amazing vegan options!”
“We have been to Inari on multiple occasions and they have consistently impressed us with their service and the quality of the menu. We had the most amazing meal a few weeks back. We sat at the sushi bar and Krit provided us with a selection of sushi that was beyond delicious. We’re looking forward to our next visit and many more to follow.”
“This is a rare combination of great product, knowledgeable and gracious staff, and a dedicated owner who’s a coffee-jack-of-all-trades. Want a great on-the-premise roasted bean for your french press, no problem. Have a moody Italian espresso machine that needs serviced after years of neglect, say no more. John does it all and with a smile on his face. Small towns rarely have these types of establishments or purveyors any more. Sherman is so lucky that it does.”
“My favorite place to grab breakfast, lunch, and sometimes even dinner! The prices are so reasonable for today's day and age, it is truly unbeatable for the quality and portion size. Great lunch specials with half sandwich and soup! Their wraps are all delicious and I crave their chocolate chip pancakes weekly. If you live close, definitely give this diner a try.”
“Wild how the universe brings people together and where the days as well as moments go. T'was my birthday yesterday and I was just rolling with the day. Started off working out then went for a hike in Morris. After that bumped into a buddy and started to geek out on some home roasted and brewed java. Then trying to keep the cup filled we ventured to the Krafted Brew Lab and I was enriched with flavors conversations and beautiful people. I am somewhat of a recluse but am spreading my wings glad to have landed there yesterday. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to get back up there. Much respect to y'all!!!”
“We did the chef’s tasting menu and I also got the wine pairings. Every single wine pairing was an absolutely phenomenal complement to each dish (except for the last one, which was “merely” a good match for the dish). The Smoked Gold cocktail was definitely a highlight too. We are looking forward to returning when more produce is in season since they source it locally.”
“In short, I had my daughter’s baptism lunch at Al Dente and here is what you need to know: exceptional, kind and hard working staff, delicious food with large proportions, great atmosphere and easy to work with. Whether you’re looking for a phenomenal dining experience or to host an event, look no further than Al Dente.”
“So many flavors to choose from. I choose blueberry brie and goat cheese blackberry. Great choice! My hubby had caramel and peanut butter cookie dough. He loved it too. By far our favorite ice cream place, unfortunately we don’t live in the area but when visiting we definitely go back.”
“Quaint atmosphere, with amazing service and staff! They are so nice and are always friendly ? The food is always outstanding and fresh! An all-around wonderful eating experience... we love Momma's Tacos❤️?”
“This stamp of approval is long overdue for the new milli outpost of the acclaimed SP.Havin visited there other location consistently since it opened in 2005 I was excited for another location to pop up.This is an Armenian style pie which is kinda like a new york style slice but not at all like a nyc slice at the same timeboastin a thin crust and pretty even sauce to cheese ratio that leans on the skimpy side. They offer a ton of fresh toppings and have a unique cracker crisp crust to hold off the flop by using a hvy dose of cornmeal on the base. These guys have experience pumping out quality rounds that shows in their finished product and their grinders/calzones aren't too shabby either. Not a typical super slice but a standout one nonetheless.”
“Lovely, warm ambiance with down to earth food. Welcoming staff with great service including a "greeter" who made us feel welcome with no school that day.”
“Beautiful outdoor place to spend a weekend. Next to vineyard, there’s an Hopkin’s Inn unaffiliated however. We loved that’s there’s a live music. Sampled a variety of spirits. Wonderful atmosphere!!!”
“Go eat here immediately. What a fabulous restaurant. With a cocktail and dining menu that is unique and perfectly prepared. The service was warm and gracious. And the atmosphere was inviting and allowed good conversation (not only with my table, but with other guests). A gem!”
“Went here with a group of friends and had a great time. The food was very at a very reasonable price! Steak was cooked to perfection! I will be going back again and again!”
“Everything really was great from start to finish. The staff was friendly, welcoming and attentive. The cocktails were delicious and so were both meals. Highly recommend the Greca paella and if they have the skirt steak on the special list, get it!”
“This place is absolutely amazing! Super convenient in downtown New milford. The waitresses are always super nice and accommodating. The food never misses and the rotating flavored hot coffees are what I look forward to the most. Keep up the good work Theo'”
“Thanks to the cook and bartender! I just picked up a burger combo to go and it was delicious! I was early so I waited at the bar, the atmosphere was nice and clean. You are crazy if you don't stop in for food or a drink.”
“Today's experience went incredibly well! My daughter loved her French toast! The eggs and potatoes were delicious as well. This cafe is small but so comfortable, you forget about its size as you enjoy your meal and good company. I adore the flower accent wall! I recommend going here 100%. One thing that stood out to me in a positive way, was the hot drinks menu included mexican hot chocolate. This is a first for me to see, but I am so delighted to know.”
“Kingsley hits all the right buttons. You can sit and eat at the bar if you are feeling social or get a cozy table for two by the window. The chef often comes out to chat to locals and visitors alike and she has no problem taking opinions or praise. The bartender will recommend a cocktail if you ask he is attentive without lurking! All of this plus wonderful food, most of which is sourced locally. There are some permanent items. I love the big bowl of mussels with crusty bread for dipping; last visit they were in a saffron based broth. I highly recommend !”
“As I was travelling through the area and growing hangry, I was in the mood for a good Chilidog. It appears they use Hummel hotdogs. This place had delightful chilidogs, hamburgers/cheeseburgers, and lots of other great food options.Unfortunately, I dropped my dog before finishing it, but I was able to eat most of it and it was all I had hoped for.The staff here is friendly and kind.Getting in and out is fairly smooth and easy, although while I was inside, my wife happened to see some guys roll in on motorcycles and one of them dumped their bike on the gravel driveway. She did say he seemed to be o.k., although I figure he must have been embarrassed and who knows if the bike got damaged. If you're rolling in on two wheels, use caution and be safe.FYI, this place is cash only, which is fine with me. Just wanted to mention it because I know some people rely on their credit cards.Overall, this is a great place to make a pitstop while out for a scenic ride in and through the area...”
“This is our favorite restaurant in CT! The food is always on point and the staff is amazing. The owner Tony is so accommodating and makes you feel like family. A must try but let me warn you make a reservation on the weekend.”

“A very cute café. The food is really good and lots of fresh, interesting sandwiches, soups, salads and pastries, plus good coffee and tea options. Good to take away or eat there.”
