“I would like to take a moment and thank the Shipwreck Tavern for an amazing day. Today was Shelby's 7th birthday and tomorrow I am having back surgery. I did not want to deal with all the fuss of having to entertain at our house for Shelby's birthday party. I had seen a post on facebook that they did small catering events. We told Beth that there would be 20 adults and 6 children. We requested wings and french fries as our appetizers. Salad and chicken parmigian as our main course. Let me say this. No one left hungry. Everyone could not belive ALL THE FOOD. The quantity of food was not the only compliment but the quality. Everyone was very beyond satisfied. We will be doing more events with shipwreck tavern. HOLIDAY season is upon us and you better believe I'll be placing a few orders.”

“My new favorite pizza place. Pizza was amazing,(Baked potato pizza) the house made dressing is great, must try! Easily top 3 canoli, probably the best I've ever had, only thing better then the food was the service and accommodations. Really great experience, can wait to come back”

“Delicious food, especially the egg rolls. The fried rice tasted like rubber however so it was probably overcooked. Everything else was great besides the fact they are still in covid mode and don't let you sit inside! They have this box they put your food in and they don't even let you in the restaurant! I'm not sure why and I'm not sure why they won't reopen the inside. I don't mind eating in the car but I'd like if they got out of covid mode since it's July 2021”

“Such a lovely spot. Cute inside, and comfortable. The staff is kind and efficient. They have great vegetarian options, my favorite: the Navratan Korma is fantastic, they make it a little differently than when I’ve had it previously: there’s fruit in it and it adds some really stunning flavors. “My friend and I had a phenomenal time at brunch here. The restaurant is gorgeous, the staff are doting, and the food was outstanding.
I had been here once before with a different friend, but wasn't in a place where I could afford more than soup and bread.
I am so thankful I came back when I had saved up a bit of money so I could enjoy a full meal and drink. I guarantee no matter what you order you will be impressed. Their menu is kinda small which allows them to perfect everything they offer.”

“My wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary by going to ct for the day. We saw someone share a review and we decided to take the trip. Very friendly staff and fair pricing on food and drinks. Very peaceful and definitely a place to go for cat lovers. Whether you like iced chai latte’s or regular coffee, this is the place for anyone to just enjoy the art work as well as the cats. The cat sanctuary was very clean and spacious. The cats were friendly and very intrigued by us humans. Highly recommend!”

“My friend and I visited Chamard Vineyard & Bistro. We had a lovely wine tasting in their tavern. We dined on Roast Duck and had a luscious white wine followed by an outrageously delicious Crème Brûlée. Their chef is phenomenal! I could eat his cuisine every day.
Chamard has an amazing staff. They are attentive but never pushy. Our waiter was outstanding. We found out that Jacques Pépin had dined there the night before. I would have loved to have seen him. What an incredible man and chef. We're looking forward to revisiting Chamard soon.

Vegetarian options: There are a few interesting vegetarian options. The Bistro is very accommodating, and I would imagine the chef could do his magic.

Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't recommend young children under 12 unless they have an extraordinary palate. 😊

Wheelchair accessibility: There is disabled parking and wheelchair accessibility. The driveway is stony.”

“Very enjoyable outside setting at Belle Vie! Just lovely. From the friendly staff whom immediacy greeted us upon arrival to tbe owner who made a special trip outdoors after personally cooking our crepes in the kitchen. We tried their chicken pesto crepe w/ tomato and spinach- absolutely delicious ! And also the salmon, cream cheese, tomato, caper, red onion crepe. Yum! We also sampled their lattes both hot and cold brew and a marvelous bacon cheddar biscuit warmed up and buttered ! They have sweet crepes as well and many non- crepe options. This Cafe will not disappoint! A beautiful menu with many selections of fresh, health conscious choices as well as some slightly more indulgent pasterie options! ( and a few more diet aware pastries as well! ) Belle Vie Cafe has everything you need! … And with a great vibe , too!!! Give it a go. You’ll be back! ) Don't forget to take a stroll along the Guilford Green just a block away offering weekend events and other shops and eateries to check out ! Very picturesque. )”

“This place is delicious! Every time we are in Madison we come here. The ladies are sweet. The pho, salads, spring rolls and milk tea are delish! The honeydew and the lime green tea are our favs.
The only thing that sucks are the “air fresheners” plugged in everywhere and tons of them in the bathroom I can barely breathe. It’s all you can smell inside which is a bummer. Gives us headaches it’s too much.
Otherwise always a great experience”

“If I was rating our experience based on our first time going here, it would be 5 stars. Our second visit was not as great as the first. Unfortunately the service lacked, incredibly, our second time here. We watched our waitress go above and beyond for all tables seated around us (similar to the waitress our first time here). When our waitress got to our table, she didn’t ask if it was our first time dining with them (as we’d heard her ask 2 other tables), she didn’t offer to explain any of the specials (as we’d heard her tell the other tables), her demeanor and tone visibly shifted from cheery to monotone each time she got to our table, and she didn’t check in with us throughout our meal. It was incredibly odd. Maybe she wrongly assumed since we are on the younger end of their typical clientele, my husband is covered in tattoos, and we had our young child with us, that she wouldn’t be tipped well?! Not sure. But her service definitely left us with a sour taste towards Grano Arso, which is so unfortunate since we enjoyed our first visit there. My husband left her a 40% tip as he usually does when we dine out; perhaps she won’t be so judgy towards others in the future.”
