“The fricken best. Hands down. Owners an OG from the Gambino neighborhood. Marinara sauce takes 10 hrs to make and uses organic san marzanos. These guys know what's up. I come out here once a year for a race at limerock and Deanos is always a stop on the way out. Gentleman this is the guy from Rochester who asked for whatever marinara sauce you could part with and told you he didn't care what it cost.So we always order calzones and guys......I gotta say......this fricken meat baby you put together for me was next level alright? From the quality of the rocioitta to the beautiful mozz that was stuffed inside this perfect dough baby. Look a chicken pepp and spinach calzone is not supposed to taste this good. Especially for $12 come on..and the homemade sauce on top of that? I'm talking we got tomato seeds, fresh basil (which is sweet as all hell, just beautiful basil) onions that you know have been sweating for a minute. Next time im down that way I'm gonna have to call in a gallon order of that sauce.Long story short. Good people. Good pies. Good calzones. Damn good ingredients and it shows. You guys get it. “Found in an old train station and has a neat vibe. You can play darts and giant connect 4 and just hang out and drink beer. The Fruit Snack and Lazy Hazy were our favourites. We’d go back if we were in the area.”

“Met a girlfriend for a quick Christmas breakfast…That lasted 2.5 hrs. This deli was suggested by my husband for a great breakfast and nice relaxing atmosphere. We were greeted with smiles from staff and other customers. Placed our orders, grabbed fresh brewed coffee and awaited yummy French Toast, perfect cooked bacon, veggie & ham omelet, & potatoes cooked just right. Food was delicious and prepared timely as the deli was busy. If you are looking for a nice place to grab breakfast or lunch stop by. Dine local - support and enjoy. “The food here is very good. Ate here for the first time for brunch on my birthday. Everything I ate was extremely fresh and flavorful. The dressing for the house salad was very good, the chicken tacos were some of the best I’ve had, but weren’t that hot when they came out, and omlettes and home fries are very good too. Only complaint I had was regarding the service. I can tell the service is generally good, but it seems like maybe I got unlucky. Our food was taking very long and we expected the salad and tacos to come out first since they were appetizers, but they did not. We were also brought the wrong omlettes initially so they had to be remade. Our waitress was still very nice, though, and our experience was good overall.”

“I absolutely love Fudgy's Ice Cream! I am a huge fan of their milkshakes, and although I've only been there a couple of times, I've really enjoyed their milkshakes. I got to try four of their flavors and tried some of my mom's chocolate dip shell. I really love the ice cream flavors, swirls, and milkshake options. There are so many things that I wish I could try there, although I'm almost never in the area. I will definitely be here again if I'm nearby or driving through.”

“My partner and I recently took a trip up from the city to visit Serevan, an absolutely exquisite restaurant in the Hudson River Valley. I had dined there many times before and to visit the owner and head chef, Serge Madikians. Each and every time, I was treated like family by the entire staff. As a vegan, Serge made sure to accommodate me with wonderful plant-based dishes; the kitchen is always ready to provide a vegan friendly meal and will accommodate all dietary requirements. Dishes are inventive and exotic, along with being plated like artwork. As for the ambiance, Serevan is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever been to. Both my partner and I are in the art field, painter and art historian respectively, and we appreciate the high aesthetics that are found in both Serevan's decor and dishes. We cannot say enough great things about this gem, tucked away in the Hudson River Valley. A must go-to destination!”

“This is one of those places, as an out of towner, you ask yourself if it’s a good idea to go, as you’re walking up to it. Only to find out it’s filled with great people and great conversation. This is usually the case, but it’s a testament to our country for sure. If a cold beer, darts, keno(QuickDraw), and a speedy bar tender sounds like a good time, then you’ve come to the right place. I’m not sure if they have food, so I left that blank.”

You'll find a simple coffee and tea station, local groceries, ready to go sandwiches and deli eats. And we love the assortment of unconventional cooking condiments, spices, etc. from the Asian continent because we often cook with those. It's great having a grocer who carries those harder finds. This store adds an element of 'cool' to Copake that quite literally adds diverse flavors to our community. Definitely stop in and see the owner, Seung--she's great!”

Finished with an espresso and ordered a hot cheese pie to go. Cozy, clean environment. Staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Quality of food and quantity of food was very reasonable. “Their sandwiches are fantastic, they use real hard rolls with the poppyseeds that most places have moved away from. It's small and not a sit-down place really, they have 2 or 3 small tables. However it's a deli so wouldn't expect them to have a sit-down. Great place to pickup breakfast sandwiches or lunch sandwiches. Best deli in the Dover/Amenia area”
