“Middlebury pizza is just that good ole family owned restaurant that works carefully on the details of the dishes they create, while always managing to stick to the basics perfect them.Whoever made my chicken parmigiana wrap deserves an award because it was one of the best I’ve ever eaten! Food is excellent every damn time and they’re effortlessly consistent!“
“So we love Dominic and vinnies! However, with everything going on they should really consider doing curb side take out.. we just picked up a pie tonight and the parking lot had a lot of cars and there were a lot of people inside.. did not look like much social distancing going on. I also do not see the reasoning of 3 people from the same car going inside to pick up a pizza. We are so excited for our pizza tonight but we will not be back until after the virus scare is over. Please consider implementing curb side pick up!“
“I live in Middlebury and this is the first time I went to this restaurant. Generally, it was very good. Apparently they have expanded the space in recent times and have installed a very large bar with high tops. I had the Jagger pizza with vodka sauce, cherry tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella. It was really quite delicious and I believe it was made in the Napoletano style. Very thin crust, slightly burnt edges, and a little chewy as it should be. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, albeit a little inexperienced. I will definitely come back and try other menu items.“
“For years I thought that the focus of this place was selling dessert pies and pint size beverages (shakes, etc) for families. More like a version of Pie Plate, if you remember them from Waterbury. Then a friend talked about going there and was shocked that I never had been. Once he mentioned the beer selection, I knew that I had to check it out. Unfortunately, I am now moving from the area but I have been going once every week or two for the past year. They really do have a great selection of craft beers on tap and in cans/bottles. A lot of rare beers, as well. I usually grab a small pepperoni & mushroom pizza, have two beers and save the rest for lunch the following day. The staff is amazing and the clientele is a mixed bag. Some chill people but also a lot of cocky people who either are rich or pretend to be rich. This is really odd because there is nothing pretentious about this place. But outside of that, this is my favorite place that I unfortunately only found out isn't a place for desserts, this past year.Parking: The only thing that I would say about parking is to slow down to a creep as soon as your GPS tells you that it is coming up. Very easy to miss because it sits well below street level. And if it is icy, don't even bother trying to make it out that steeper entrance/exit.“
“This place is amazing.pia is very nice and friendly she has a great personality that customers forget there is a line because they know the pizza and service are worth it.the pizza is absolutely perfect doesn't matter which kind is your favorite it's still going to be delicious. I am so happy we found this place.Kid-friendliness: Have highchair available“
“I heard a lot of good things about this restaurant so I finally tried it tonight. I ordered takeout and it was one of the best pasta dinners I ever had. The portion was big I have lunch for tomorrow. The price was also reasonable especially for seafood. Definitely will be ordering from here more.“
“Absolutely love this place! Been going frequently for a while and then we had them cater at work for an Open House Event and it was a smashing hit! Everyone loved the pies, meatballs and wings! Love this place and management is very wonderful especially with how large and hectic our order was for work! Can't thank this team enough!“
“Picked up food here twice. Their pizza is excellent, but it's small inside the restaurant and usually very busy. Not many places to park on the street. There was a line and barely room to stand while picking up food. Probably best to eat here as opposed to pick up.“
“Wonderful real homemade chicken parm grinder, no "patty" here. The pizza is delectable, especially with toppings. I order a large chef salad often; salad is always fresh and olives are great as is the homemade balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The turkey and cheese are very fresh also. The service is great, friendly in a small cozy atmosphere. Pat Winn“
“The food is extremely fresh. They make the pasta and pizza in house and the food is never frozen.Kitchen is very clean.Family owned!Definitely a must go for both dine in and takeout!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza and other items can be made gluten free as well.Parking: More then enough parking spots for the capacity of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kids Menu, Chicken fingers, kids pizza and buttered pasta..Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.. Very accessible for wheelchairs.“
“This was a great experience, such an amazing atmosphere. Greeted with smiles all around, the waitress was great, the owner stopped by and told me the special, but I was only in the mood for salad and pizza. This pizza was great, crispy, the right amount of sauce and cheese. I am looking forward to coming back and trying other dishes that they have, I will also try a drink next time. They truly go out of their way to make you feel like family. Such a great place!“
“I had the most amazing dining experience at Sicilian Delight in Brass Mill Center Mall! From the moment I walked in, I could feel the warmth and passion that goes into their food. The pizzas here are nothing short of phenomenal – each slice is a masterpiece handcrafted with love and skill. The flavors were a delightful explosion in my mouth. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and generously piled on. Whether you're a fan of classic Margherita or adventurous with toppings, Sicilian Delight has something for everyone. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that every customer felt valued. But what truly sets Sicilian Delight apart is the unmistakable passion that goes into every dish. You can taste the dedication and love they put into their food. If you're in Brass Mill Center Mall, make sure to visit Sicilian Delight – it's a slice of pizza heaven that you won't want to miss!“
“Excellent restaurant. The staff is awesome. The food is delicious. The chef went out of his way to make me a dish that was not on the menu. Our waitress Alexis must have told him that I had asked if they served shrimp parmesan. She suggested the shrimp linguini. The chef prepared the dish for me which was very caring, it made me feel so special. I highly recommend Ria's Restaurant in Waterbury, CT.“
“My family and I walked into paesanos pasta house and I ordered an medium pizza which was ready in only 15 minutes but what impressed me was I also ordered a 2nd pizza an extra large for my mother and I was able to watch the cook make the pizza by handstand the whole order both pizzas were ready to go in about 40 minutes or less highly recommend to try their pizzas. A+++“
“We called for take out to Puglia, we weren't in the mood for pizza so we decided on dinners. What a fantastic choice. My wife got chicken français and I chose linguini and shrimp with a scampi sauce. Both our dinner came with a generous salad and homemade bread. What a great addition to Southbury! The wood fired oven and pizzas looked amazing as well. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.“
“I enjoy it do not know why anyone would not shop here. Even tho I am not a member of the local community the food here is so much healthier and better for you. Not to mention it's close to what you would pay at stop and shop with less headaches“
“We were at the flea market nearby and went for lunch because it was so close. Located in a strip mall, it’s was a cozy, informal, little restaurant with booths and some tables. Service was prompt and courteous, menu had all the classics and nice, simple dinners and black board specials. We had cheeseburger deluxe and pastrami melt. The fries were so good, steak fries that cooked to a deep golden brown. Perfect crunch for the outside, soft and mashed potato like inside. It’s been a while since I had fries that good!!! Burger was hefty, cooked to perfection and juicy. Pastrami melt was tender, with very thinly sliced sauté onions, grilled well on rye. Coleslaw was very good, not too saucy, not to dry. Ice tea was very good.Saw others selections, pot roast with gravy looked so good and a grilled chicken salad that was enormous!Prices were great for the quality and portion sizes. Can’t wait to go back again.“
“I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. From the humble owners to the quality of the food. We were blown away! Everything is sparkling clean and the service is above the 5-Star mark. They treated me and my family group like royalty and the shrimp pasta special was to die for. Give them a try because you definitely won’t regret it! We tried the pizza, wings, pasta and grinders. Simply amazing!“
“I ordered a meatball pizza for take out after a 12 hour snowstorm of plowing in the snow equipment and was feeling pretty hungry for a late dinner. I live in the area and have been wanting to try oxford pizza palace, it seemed to be greek style pizza. I ordered a large 16inch or so meatball pizza. I usually prefer my meatball toppings flat sliced homestyle cooked meatballs, these were more small chunks but otherwise good still and fresh tasting. The cheese and sauce kind of had a different taste I couldn't completely put together i guess, idk i was hungry and i could crush the whole large pizza in probably one sitting if i tried too haha They offer an 18inch xl pizza size as well and i think next time im gunna order an xl pizza maybe a different topping to try how they make other pizzas and what the toppings taste like. I enjoyed the pizza overall and will return again.“
“Awesome pizza. It's probably one of the pizza places I've been to in the CT area. Wings are nice and crispy the way they are supposed to be. Epicure burger is delicious. I would recommend this place. We have actually gone out of my way to come here for dinner.“
“Me and my individual went there last night. We each got our own pizza. Broccoli & chicken pizza, pepperoni pizza. Both were very delicious especially with that crunchy crust not too crunchy but just perfect. The family there was very nice, helpful and funny. All and All definitely will be returning for more pizza.“
“Awesome pizza. The place is super clean and friendly. The food is really good, I never had a bad review. The people are so friendly and really polite. Andres thank you for making my pizza is was really good and you maked it how I like it. Thanks ?“
“Ordered a large pepperoni pizza for pick up, i drove down there and the older women was in the middle of making the pizza as i walked in. I paid for the pizza with younger lady there and i had a comfortable seat as the pizza cooked, i like to get the pizza fresh and hot as soon as it comes out of the oven to bring it home still hot for the family. The inside of restaurant looked clean and cozy for dine in, tv's playing and holiday lights on. The pie with one topping and tax came to $21.47 which is alittle more than i would like to pay for a one topping large pizza but all in all it was cooked well and tasty still when i got home. Something to note is that if you want to do a half one topping pizza, it still cost the same amount for the one topping cost which i don't particularly like when restaurants do that.“
“We used this restaurant as a venue for a birthday party on Saturday afternoon. We had slight over 30 people. Food was great. Staff were easy to work with and extremely accommodating. Since it is now BYOB we saved $ in this area. I would recommend dimitri's highly. Many folks endorsed their pizza as best in Watertown.“
“Great pizza joint in Seymour. I have had Zois Pizza at least 5 or 6 times since moving to Seymour. Pizza is very consistent. Love the wings. Great flavor, cook, and crust. Service is top notch, whether it is take-out or dine-in. Highly recommend Zois.“
“Wasn't sure about this place when we pulled in to the parking lot but so glad we gave it a try . I ordered the Zuppa di pesce ( one of my favorite hard to find meals ) absolutely everything I was hoping it would be and more . Very extensive menu if you can't find something here to tickle your taste buds maybe your not human . The service was awesome. The restaurant itself ain't very fancy but a steady flow of traffic of people picking up and calling in for orders . They are definitely doing something right . Me and the wife was in from out of town for a funeral. And we was very satisfied with our meals and service . So if your in the area this place is definitely worth the stop .“
“Anthony’s Pizza is a great pizza place in Oakville CT. It has great food and fantastic pizza. There thin crust, crispy, cheese pizza is great. It's price tag is worth it. The wait is not terribly long and to get takeout is a smooth and easy process. The workers at the place is very good. The parking space is always big enough and will always have room to park there. If not you can park on the side of the street safely. I highly suggest Anthony's pizza, I've been there multiple times and it has never disappointed. Many other pizza places I have gone to have been on and off with there pizza but Anthony's pizza has never disappointed me. By far best pizza in town!Parking: The parking lot is good size and if it is full there's parking on the side of the road that you most likely would be able to use.“
“I’ve been here for lunch and dinner and I haven’t had a disappointing meal. Totally love they’re lobster bisque soup, must be made from scratch. They’re grinders I’ve enjoyed several very good. The pre meal bread with garlic oil is amazing. I could keep going, plan to keep coming “
“So Google says I came here a week ago, but that's not true. It's been almost 2 years i last Came here with my husband, who's sinced passed away we used to go here all the time and the food service, an atmosphere was always great. The meatball Grinder was his favorite.“
“Incredible food and service. We have called ahead and used them for several large family parties. The food is hot and delicious. The service is impeccable. I would highly recommend anyone to try this restaurant. You’ll be very surprised, The ingredients are delicious and of high-quality.“
“I tried Lakewood pizza for the first time today and I definitely will order again and again and again and again. I had a chicken cutlet grinder and mozzarella sticks, and everything was fresh! the bread for the grinder was so good, it seemed like it was just baked and that just came out of the oven and the chicken cutlet on it was perfect and tasty and the lettuce and tomato was fresh and crisp. and oh my my, those mozzarella sticks are out of this world! tons of mozzarella cheese, which again I must say tasted so fresh and they were cooked to perfection, the outside was golden brown and crispy and then you pull it apart and the cheese just keeps coming and coming and you see how far you can stretch the cheese out before it's going to fall......LOL. I definitely definitely recommend this place! the delivery guy was also very polite“
“I forgot to mention on my last review that we always get a vegan pizza to go with our dinners. It is really great crispy pizza with vegetables on top but no cheese. I'm sure all the other pizzas are equally delicious. Lasts for days in the fridge and can be reheated in oven- not microwave because that makes the crust mushy! Really good place!“
“Tried Five Guys for the first time tonight. The Pizza was excellent! The calzone was delicious, just didn't care for the seasoning on top, but it can be ordered without it. The service and delivery time was excellent and friendly! We will definitely be ordering again!!“
“I had to take care of some things at the post office down town. I stumbled along this place by accident. Mind you I moved here from NYC 6 years ago. I'm very spoiled growing up and eating NYC pizza most of my life. Since my years here, I have tried many pizza shops claiming to have NYC pizza. It's just a big joke! I even challenge them. Anyway, this place is legit NYC pizza in not just Waterbury but the whole New Haven county. Huge delicious pizza that don't break and crumble when you fold them. They are hand tossed and not put in to like cake backing pans. Where it comes out all soggy! The mozzarella is white and gooey and not burnt orange. They are from NYC the owners and can tell they brought up their recipes with them! It's family owned and ran. The Family is so delightful. My absolute go to! Hands down best pizza in these part of the state.“
“Writing this because I just realized we never reviewed you! We've been eating here for ages; pretty much as long as my family's been living here, which has been around 16 years and almost as long as I've been alive, we've enjoyed your pizza and other foods. My pizza tastes are admittedly boring, as I usually go with plain cheese, but yours remains my go-to. The rest of my family likes pizza, grinders and wings as well, which are also stellar. Only downside is the fact you're closed on Sundays :p“
“Let's start out by saying this is a real "Mom & Pop" type Italian pizza place. Prices are decent for the amount and quality of food and it's really a nice neighborhood place.that being said, the pizza was overcooked and the edges were burnt. Not enough to make it a deal breaker and I will try it again on another day to see if it's just a one off. But man oh man the chicken cutlet Parm was amazing. A huge portion, well breaded and moist while being full of flavor. Plenty of sauce but not enough to be sloppy or messy. Will definitely have to try their cold deli sandwiches because what I saw being made looked deliciousWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out even with my large mobility scooter“
“So despite the name, Big Daddys does have eat-in service, and also appears to be part of a gas station? The location is a bit off the beaten path, but plenty of parking. I found a certificate on Restaurants.com for the pizzeria, and it was a good deal. Lunch and dinner at a discount! The burgers were pretty large, as were the fries if you ordered them as a side. The pizza had more of a tomato-acidy sauce than sweet, but a good amount of cheese. You could order by the slice inside. There is also ice cream, onion rings in the hot food area, and baked goods wrapped for desserts. There's both Coke and Pepsi in the coolers, and chips behind the window side booths. They also have a bar area and sell on Slice! Big Daddys also does local delivery on certain days in the evening. Goodness, there's a lot going on. Plus, a good flow of pick up orders. The gentlemen at the register seemed to have a good handle on things though.“
“I just had surgery and Tom the owner just deliver my pizza. Through my ring camera he offered to bring pizza inside and put on counter for me. With my permission he did just that. I’m a grateful for not only a great meal every time we order from Martino’s but the excellent service. Tom exceeds customer expectations and so does his staff. Thank you again for the kind gesture…“
“FYI to anyone that's been searching for the ultimate pizza. The owner Mr Belica is a childhood friend of mine, so people might think I'm being biased. Yet I have to let pizza lovers outside of Wolcott CT know , what Wolcott residents already know. He provides Amazing authentic Italian pizza , with the highest quality cheese, sauce and flower that unfortunately 99% of pizzerias refuse to provide to customers due to their bottom line. Service is professional, prompt and always timely. Food is delivered with love and in good time.I too am a pizza maker, who has worked for many new haven style pizzerias over my 40 year career and although they are more well known offer a pizza that's either inferior or on par to Wolcott pizza. I can compliment the pizza and staff all day , yet the truth is you're going to have to experience it for yourself. Start this New year with an awesome true wood fired pizza .Happy New Year everyone and God bless.“
“Very friendly staff. The chefs are in an open area so they can greet you as you walk in. Had great conversations with us before we finished our meal. Food came out hot and perfect. Would definitely go again.Kid-friendliness: Had kid friendly cups and kid options“
“My kids & I been going to Wooster many years.I first had their pizza when I was 14. Their food is good & plentiful. They have decent prices. They got a huge menu to pick from.I recommend them. Angela, She always asks how the kids are & we exchange pleasantries. All in all, I think they're a great restaurant, & great staff that goes above and beyond to please the customer.“
“This is a special Place! New Haven style / high quality apizza!!!!They make very thin and crispy pies! They also have a full menu of Italian dishes and subs which are good.Great apizza up the hill from New Haven. Definitely worth eating!!!!Parking: Park anywhere on the property ( lots of parking even though a car dealership is also on-site).“
“I haven't had pizza like this since Sally's Apizza! The sauce is definitely homemade, the crust is perfectly thin, and the cheese is so delicious!!! Their prices are great, and the service is so friendly. they make you feel like you are family.“
“BETTER THAN MODERN!!! Grew up in CT and always loved any pizza I could get, but the only place I crave when I’m home in Ohio is First Street! Everytime I come back to Connecticut I make sure to eat as much as I can! DO NOT SLEEP ON FIRST STREET!!!!!“
“I recently attended a private party there. The staff was extremely accommodating to my gluten intolerance issues and made me a separate gluten free meal which was very tasty and included gluten free bread and ice cream for dessert. I highly recommend them.“
“This is one of my favorite pizza places. I really enjoy there grinders and pizza. It's a nice place to dine in also. If your looking for a place to go have a few drinks and ear good food. This is the place for you. It's also a place to take your family along.“
“Whenever we go on road trips or something like that we usually get something to snack on and get sodas for ourselves for the drives, within and outside of the state of Connecticut, even during the summer months when there is no school. Great place. Must want to go there again and again!“
“Oh boy! I recently moved from Fairfield County Connecticut to Hartford County, specifically Bristol. I have been looking for a really good pizza joint, I grew up eating great pizza from New Haven to Bridgeport, unfortunately being in Bristol for 6 months I have been disappointed time after time. Well that has ended today! The New Haven Pizza Company in Wolcott is EXCELLENT! Just a beautiful 6 mile drive away. Whenever I try a new place my eyes are always bigger then my stomach and I get excited and really want to try everything on the menu lol. But for my first visit I got a large cheese pizza, half bacon half meatball...I love this pizza! Crust was crisp, sauce is flavorful, plenty of toppings, great mozzarella cheese. Fried mozzarella was incredible...2 big triangles of cheese covered in marinara sauce, this delicious and I will order often. Finally I got a chicken parm on a hard roll...Excellent! Not many places have a choice of a hard roll or grinder roll, I had to get a hard roll because when I worked in New Haven I got that for lunch almost everyday. Will get this again. Unfortunately I didn't see any deserts on the menu otherwise I would have gotten something sweet. Trust me when I tell you if you like New Haven style pizza or NY style pizza, you will love this place. Thank goodness I don't live next door to this place or I'd weigh 500 pounds. Enjoy!“
“Amazing service is an understatement. The new painted pony restaurant is an amazing place for people of all Ages with events all through the week such as trivia on Tuesdays and bands every Saturday this place has it all. The amazing menu is only beat by the amazing food options. The fries are amazing and while there are many pasta dishes the chicken parm in particular is amazing don’t listen to what the haters say the painted pony is an amazing place for you and the whole family. I will be coming back.Parking: Parking in the front and back no trouble getting in and out.“
“First time at Kitchen 64 and I'm happy we went there. We shop at Four Corners grocery store across from Kitchen 64 and I noticed that it's always busy. I figured that it must be good. The diner is very modern, bright, and clean. My wife and I admired the paintings on the walls. The outdoor patio seating also looks inviting on a nice sunny day. They have a nice basic breakfast menu. I'm always looking for the unusual gourmet breakfast, but this place is perfect for your typical breakfast made with care. We were seated quickly and our friendly waitress gave us plenty of time to look over the menu to place our orders. Turns out, our waitress, Jen, is someone I've known since we were kids. Haven't seen her in years. Jen brought over our drinks and it seemed like we just started to sip our coffee and tea and our food arrived. Crazy fast service. It almost seemed like magic with how fast they cooked our breakfast. And it was cooked well and tasty. My wife had an omelette with sausage, tomato and cheese with rye toast and home fries. I had the Meat Lovers Omelette with rye toast and home fries. Next time I'll get either the eggs benedict, pancakes, or french toast. Lunch at Kitchen 64 sounds good too.“
