“It was my first time here. I was very impressed. I ended up getting my lunch and my dinner all at the same time. However, I just sit in the car and eat my lunch was phenomenal. “The service was fast. They didn’t have change for a buck so I had to use my card. I wasn’t happy with the little .50 charge, but I understand it was early. This is a small place, but the kitchen was nice and busy. I do appreciate being able to see what’s going on back there. I ordered a large curry goat with cabbage rice and peas. The curry has just enough spice. ❤️❤️❤️?I will return with smaller bills?Parking: I parked a little down the street. I’m not sure if they have parking in the back of the building. If not there’s limited parking in front.“

“This place was absolutely amazing. I ordered the jerk chicken with jollof rice and it was so delicious. My friends ordered the goat egusi with fufu and said it was also so good. Our waitress even taught them how to eat it because they never had it before and she was so nice in general. I highly recommend this place for the delicious food and quality service!“

“We live about 30 mins away and wanted to try a Bridgeport Caribbean Restaurant. We chose this restaurant because of google reviews and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The large food portions could easily feed 2 adults or 3 kids. We ordered the escovitch fish, curry goat and brown stew chicken. All were extremely tasty. I must also note that the curry goat was mostly meaty unlike most places that give mostly bones. Thank you, we'll be back.Dietary restrictions: They have good nondairy options for starches. The food is very tasty and plentiful.“

“I personally took the trip 45 minutes away to get the oxtails from this place but last Friday I went there and I ordered my usual but I got the Rasta pasta I added shrimp omg I ate it the next day it still was fantastic I recommend everyone who lives here to eat there and plus there friendly.“

“I really like this place. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They made me feel very welcome. I could sense that they wanted to make sure I was satisfied. That speaks volumes. The decorum was very cultured and colorful. The chicken soup was very savory and the jerk chicken, rices & peas, cabbage and plantains really hit the spot! I also liked that they had Arizona teas for $1. Most Jamaican restaurants only serve drinks that are high priced. It was great to have options. I highly recommend this place. The energy is amazing!“

“I haven't been here in years so maybe the cook is different . I see a lot of bad reviews up here! But I used to go here every single day on my way to work. The lunch menu was only $7 !! Sooo good. On Fridays they served seafood out of the bag, I'd always get the spicy one for $40. I wonder why so many bad reviews , maybe they have a new cook or something. I have to go there to see what this about ....“

“I had zero issues with customer service and food! Oxtails was amazing! Rice was just a tad bit on the dry side but still decent to eat. I Love the decor, really felt like I was in a restaurant shack in Jamaica! Very cute design. Easy parking. Location not too hard to find. Overall, I had a great experience and wonderful kind staff. “I think it's because I'm shy that the owner seemed a little stand-offish, but I have to say her food is amazing. The jerk salmon and rice is the first thing I had and it's going to be my go-to dish. The restaurant is clean, it has a very modern cozy look to it with lots of light coming in. It's bright, spacious and welcoming. People have enough room or their company without feeling awkward about their personal space being invaded. The portions match the price as well. Overall, it's immaculate, people need to go here.“

“Amazing experience! The portion was a great size for the price which I always worry about with food trucks. Great amount of meat and it lasted me about two meals. I made the mistake of not getting a drink and it was a little spicy so I got back in line and I'm glad I did! The Hibiscus Sorel was amazing and refreshing. Pretty sweet but a nice treat. I ordered and got my food very quickly. I hope to see the truck again soon!“
