“This is our favorite breakfast place whenever we come to Mohegan Sun. The portions are huge and delicious. My husband loves the Bloody Mark cocktail. I love the strawberry mint jam on the delicious biscuits. The service is always great, too. We’ll be back!“

“When we were booking our stay at the Mohegan Sun, I wanted to make reservations for somewhere special and I picked the MJ steakhouse. The MJ steakhouse did not disappoint. Their team of hostesses and waiters were awesome. I had a few of their "air" -spressos (pic attached) which were delicious. My bf and I shared the Flight 23 and an order of their mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. All of the meat was cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious as well. Their special dessert of the night was creme brulee and it was to die for! Highly recommend this place!“

“Unbelievably fantastic beer and dining. They have the best grilled oysters in New England. Pair it up with Effed Up On Pilz and you will be in Heaven. They even have Effed Up On Pilz shirts that are a one of a kind. You have to check it out.“

“A New London staple! If you live here, you can disregard this review because you probably already know how good it is, and I would just be preaching to the choir. If you're new to the area, though, or just passing through- you need to check this place out asap. I've always loved coming here for a comfort meal, but it wasn't until a family trip to Charleston, SC until I truly appreciated how lucky I was to have Neon Chicken right in my backyard. We visited a restaurant down there that had been getting national coverage for how good their rotisserie chicken was. It had been on famous TV shows and had received plenty of accolades. To be clear, it did live up to the hype! But my family and I all agreed: It's great, but it's not as good as Neon. The service there is impeccable, always fast and friendly. The restaurant itself is very casual, with plenty of seating to enjoy your meal. My go-to order is a breast and thigh plate, mac and cheese, stuffing, and of course a piece of their corn bread. There's nothing that hits the spot quite like it on these chilly winter days.“

“This is a great choice for vegan food. Vegetables are great and there's always rice. It's like going home to eat. There is always something interesting. I can't find okra anywhere else in CT. The beef is so tender! The spices are perfect and not overwhelming. I have to drive 30 minutes to get there but it's worth it. Portions are large, I have lunch for two days. Yep, I highly recommend Mommy's.“

“I went here for a work lunch and I had a pretty good experience! The service was really good, we had people join as they showed up and as soon as someone new arrived at the table, someone was over to ask them for their beverage order. Our food also arrived very quickly after ordering and the view of the golf course was lovely. I got the spicy chicken wrap and it was only okay, it was a little on the drier side and the tortilla seemed a little stale. It was peeling kind of strangely and felt hard. The fries were good, though. It was a still a good experience, there was a lot of seating available so I highly recommend for larger groups.“

She was amazingly helpful with the menu, quick with drinks and food, and went way above and beyond on service level. This was a completely random find for us and we were so glad we came here. “Not your regular restaurant. We stopped for brunch on our way to the Orient Point ferry. What a wonderful surprise it was. Everything served is way above the standard quality of regular and even fine restaurants, for a very moderate price. I wish we would have a place like this closer to home!“

“Best ribeye steak! I loved the stuffed mushrooms on top of my steak and the mash-baked potatoes on the side. The salad and desert were pretty awesome too. Service was superb ?. “I am traveling alone for work and am back it CT. I was warmly welcomed and offered to sit at the counter. There were some empty tables and I asked if I could sit at a table. I understand that being the weekend those are reserved for larger parties. However, I was allowed to sit at a table, and proceeded to place my order. I ordered the #2 which came with two eggs, toast, home fries and a choice of meat.The eggs were perfectly cooked to order. The home fries were flavorful and I decided to forgo the ketchup (which I have used at other establishments in order to give the home fries flavor). The cinnamon raisin toast was perfect. The bacon was crispy. If you are in New London sometime you will not be disappointed if you stopped here for brunch.“

“I have not had a cheesesteak in a long while, and I have never before stopped in despite knowing it was here for a long time now.I grabbed "The Doctor" and added mushrooms and mayo. I have to say, this was a darn good cheesesteak. Well seasoned, bread was perfect - super soft but still had chew. Pretty friggen legit!.. but I have to take a star off for the soft fries, another 30seconds to a minute and they would have been perfect. I wouldn't have minded waiting.Not really a place to sit and eat anymore. Seemed busy with orders though. I'll definitely come back to satisfy my cheesesteak craving, the sammys are definitely worth it!“

“Food was very good . Our waitress Alicia was excellent. She was efficient and friendly.Our side came out when we were almost done eating . ( not the end of the world)but they didn't charge us which was nice. Overall, a good experience.“

“First time eating here and it was great. I ordered the fish and chips. It was great. The tarter and slaw were great. Not everyone has good tarter or cole slaw. The spinach dip was great, too. I had never had it like that before. It had its own little twist. I am very happy and will return whenever I'm in the area.“

She was very friendly and was quick to get my order as well as get my order to me.I had the chicken and bacon quesadillas with some ranch dip… very good and very filling especially considering it’s technically an appetizer in of it self. Previously, I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was damn well made too. It’s fairly cheap as far as food in Groton goes so I would $100% recommend this place!Parking: Lots of places to park and it has a few spots specifically for Motorcycles in front too!“

“Love this place. Gone to it a few times up until yesterday, my son's birthday weekend. So it was the first time in the arcade area and when we stumbled at the karaoke room which had a very small sign saying it needed to be reserved. The red head worker came in aggressively instead of kindly letting us know about it being having to be reserved , she continously told us "get out" atleast 5xs and until I OPENED MY MOUTH SHE WANTED TO APOLOGIZE. I will be returning beautiful definitely don't want her helping me nor my kids.“

“The beautiful bartender greeted me as I stepped in and I knew that Social Bar is a place where one’s satisfaction is guaranteed.I ordered the Mr. Nice Guy burger with a side of Brussels sprouts. The burger was good but the sprouts were perfection!Back to the bartender, after giving me a glass of water while I was waiting, she proved that she knows her products at the bar. I asked her why Jameson whiskey was also stout. She explained it so simply that I, a teetotaler, understood the process.All in all, great place, great food , and outstanding staff!“
