“Moodus Mud Coffee has been a staple in our house for several years now. We’ve been using their whole bean coffee every morning since our local grocery store started carrying it. I just visited their new in-person location in downtown Moodus. Their freshly brewed coffee was excellent (as always!). The owners are passionate about what they do. They’re excited to share their vision for growing into the new space they’re building out. If you’re looking for a great cup of coffee, I’d definitely make stopping here a priority. Looking forward to visiting their shop on a regular basis.”

“My friend and I had a phenomenal time at brunch here. The restaurant is gorgeous, the staff are doting, and the food was outstanding.
I had been here once before with a different friend, but wasn't in a place where I could afford more than soup and bread.
I am so thankful I came back when I had saved up a bit of money so I could enjoy a full meal and drink. I guarantee no matter what you order you will be impressed. Their menu is kinda small which allows them to perfect everything they offer.”

“We recently visited Two Brothers Cafe for breakfast, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—everything from the eggs to the french toast were cooked to perfection! The service from Sam (one of the owners) was outstanding. He was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring our coffee cups were always full. It’s clear he takes pride in his restaurant! Overall, we highly recommend this spot for a breakfast outing—great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back!”

“My wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary by going to ct for the day. We saw someone share a review and we decided to take the trip. Very friendly staff and fair pricing on food and drinks. Very peaceful and definitely a place to go for cat lovers. Whether you like iced chai latte’s or regular coffee, this is the place for anyone to just enjoy the art work as well as the cats. The cat sanctuary was very clean and spacious. The cats were friendly and very intrigued by us humans. Highly recommend!”

“If I was rating our experience based on our first time going here, it would be 5 stars. Our second visit was not as great as the first. Unfortunately the service lacked, incredibly, our second time here. We watched our waitress go above and beyond for all tables seated around us (similar to the waitress our first time here). When our waitress got to our table, she didn’t ask if it was our first time dining with them (as we’d heard her ask 2 other tables), she didn’t offer to explain any of the specials (as we’d heard her tell the other tables), her demeanor and tone visibly shifted from cheery to monotone each time she got to our table, and she didn’t check in with us throughout our meal. It was incredibly odd. Maybe she wrongly assumed since we are on the younger end of their typical clientele, my husband is covered in tattoos, and we had our young child with us, that she wouldn’t be tipped well?! Not sure. But her service definitely left us with a sour taste towards Grano Arso, which is so unfortunate since we enjoyed our first visit there. My husband left her a 40% tip as he usually does when we dine out; perhaps she won’t be so judgy towards others in the future.”

“Coming home this afternoon from a class at the Y, I thought about what to have for lunch. As I approached the light in Deep River, I decided to stop and see what the nest had to offer. I came home with a warm ham and Bree sandwich on a beautiful brioche bun and it did not disappoint. It was truly a treat on this chilly day as I continue with their warm chi latte made with almond milk. Lucky to have them close by! Sosse Baker”

(so darn easy drinking, almost dangerous) The people we met were awesome and we enjoyed the music of Jeremy Haddad, which made it that much better.”

“I've been here for two Birthday Celebrations and both were a lot of fun! The staff is great, the food is really good too. Definitely good vibes and awesome to watch live sports on the big screen. I'm a huge football fan it and was nice watching the playoffs last night on their big screen! I would definitely recommend this place.”
