“Stopped in here tonight for the first time. Got a steak and cheese grinder, a grilled buffalo chicken grinder, passionfruit lemonade slushie and a strawberry lemonade slushie. The sandwiches were seasoned really well and juicy meat. Absolutely delicious and a must try! The owner's are also super nice and you can tell they care about the quality. I will certainly be back!!! “I ordered a steak and cheese grinder, a grilled cheese for the baby , & a smoothie. The smoothie and grilled cheese were both great. The steak grinder was honestly dry, I didn’t taste the cheese or onions, just dry meat . I did order off of door dash in defense of the store so it definitely could’ve dried out in the delivery process . I will definitely try them again in person & I would still recommend anyone looking for a healthy friendly place to eat to try the green deli .“

“Absolutely delicious!! Worth the wait. Seems like they're not too friendly unless you're a Regular though. Eh... maybe they were just busy. Just about everyone that was ordering lunch to go, got Kielbasa with Provolone, Kraut, Mustard on a Hard Roll. And I'll agree after making it at home, that's the BEST Way to eat it! Bring CASH Because they don't take any kind of cards. That should be updated as a lot of people no longer carry cash. And the parking is terrible there. Too bad they won't move a bigger space... but they've been in that same space since it opened a zillion years ago. Totally nostalgic.Overall, if you've never been to this small little Shop, you need to. Their Kielbasa is Delicious!Parking: The lot is very small. If people park correctly, you can fit about 6 cars in the lot. I know when they get busy, people park along the street and it makes it difficult for traffic to get through.“

“We often pop by the shop to pick up breakfast sandwiches on our way to the office. Recently, we asked Tommy & Marie to help us provide light food options for our art studio's Grand Opening last week. They recommended their stuffed breads (stromboli). We ordered the Italian Combo stromboli, Broccoli Rabe and cheese stromboli, potato salad, and a roasted vegetable and penne salad. The food was a hit!! The breads were such a wonderful idea and EVERYONE asked where we ordered it from. Thanks Tommy’s Place & Market for working with us and helping to make our community debut a success! “The deli had excellent food and the customer service was the greatest I've ever experience. The owner Paul, makes the greatest steam burger I've ever had. Coming to this deli was an amazing experience and would recommend anyone to come and check it out.“

“I went for lunch rush on a Thursday and was nervous when I saw the line of 10-15 people. But they serviced everyone pretty quickly and it only took 10 minutes to get my food. I order a meatball grinder and it was amazing. The meatballs are fresh and the sauce was good. This will be a mainstay for my lunches when in Hartford.“

“Amazing homemade Polish food. I think the best croquettes (krokiety) i have ever had (had the meat ones). Plus very tasty bigos. I did not have a chance to try other stuff they have, so couldn't make my opinion on their pierogies.It is also a store, with a great variety of polish food.Highly recommended for snacks: a lot of delicious and cheap Polish snacks: try chałwa and ptysie! They also have Polish chocolate if you like European chocolate.“

“We love the boneless honey baked ham. I used to get it as an addition to our turkey for Thanksgiving and one year we all decided to stop having turkey and just order a larger ham. We love not having to do anything but pick it up. We've had the bone in and boneless over the years and both are delicious. Service here is fast too and everyone is super helpful. Wish they would bring back the cheese ham potato side the used to have. We've really missed it.“

“Friends brought us frozen eggplant parm, chicken parm & baked ziti. I just had surgery and can’t cook. We cooked them all up & every single dish is delicious! Excellent food. I am an eggplant parm aficionado and it is excellent. We are just thrilled by the generosity of our friends and thoroughly are enjoying the food! We love Craving for their breakfast & lunch but now we will be stopping by for the frozen entrees as well. Keep up the good work Cravings!“

“Easily the best sandwich shop in the area. Staff are always mega friendly and do custom orders without any fuss and always with enthusiasm. If you want a sandwich (Subway... come on dude! Gross...) don't you dare go anywhere else? Prices are super reasonable too.My go to: chicken cutlet wrap with Swiss, pepperoni, jalapenos, onion (raw, though sauteed is always available), lettuce, mayo and their homemade chipotle sauce. Comes out perfect every time.“

“Clean, well lit, fresh food, extremely polite service.It's what it says it is, NY Style Deli, wouldn't expect to go in and order the most complicated thing on the menu, but for your grab & go warm sandwich needs: fantastic. The few negative reviews I see on here seem to reflect people who are out of their element more than validly critical.Definitely our favorite breakfast spot in our neighborhood. Also worth noting that based on how terrible food options are downtown after the office workers go home, being open on Saturday is practically a public service in Hartford.Thanks!“
